Good USA-hotel with clean and spacious rooms. Best which we in 13 years USA vacation experienced. Staff are very friendly and willing to help. Sufficient parking spaces ( free of charge ) available. Mineral water in the room costs 3.50. -$, but that can one leave. Kitchenette is clean and fully furnished. Facilitities are very well maintained, within less-minute walk one is at the beach. Despite proximity to airport it is very quiet location. read more

There were 1 week following our FTI round trip.
The hotel was actually very good, but it was considerable shortcomings in the cleaning of the rooms. In our 1 week the bedding changed but dust cleaning, bathroom mountings and so on cleaning seemed the housekeepers a total foreign word to be.
The first 3 days we have with a bit of tipping tried, but no improvement was to see we it directly reemployed.
Had a complimentary upgrade to a studio in the 40. Building. The furniture and floor coverings were very run-down and a bit dirty but it was still. ...
Closing highlight was that we with the check out of the room again everything checked have that we never forgot. It fell us an old couple socks under the cabinet on the definitely not of us. read more

We were very impressed by the great complex, beautiful flowerbeds, beautiful plants everywhere, everything is green. The best we enjoyed our room to the east with a private terrace with sun loungers. The staff (at the front desk, in the restaurant, in the shop, the cleaning staff, the security) was extremely nice and helpful. We felt very much at ease in bahia resort. At any time we would stay there again. Completely a great thing. To Pacific it is only a few minutes walk. The beach is huge wide and endlessly long. The water was lovely. Into town you can ... easily by car or the public bus. Sea World, the gaslamp quarter, the Stadion, the harbor, old town are easy to reach. read more

As mentioned in lots of reviews described the hotel has several building the very may vary. You can of a very nice location with private access to the sandy beach to the hotel room in one of the main buildings get.
We receive, the room was nice and big, with all the standard facilities, had its own balcony with a view of front desk the Bay.
Now to the problem: Receives one the building directly at the front desk ( room with the numbers 3 XX), you can see on a sleeping only from about 0:00 until 1:00 ... at night to adjust. This hotel it seems a lot of American couples for your wedding use. You can see during the day very many weddings at the beach, so that large parts of which are blocked off and you can enter. The actual party you will find in one of the many rooms of the hotel instead of. Some are nearby the beach in, extra separated from bedrooms the other guests, other against on the highest floor to what I have described as main building.
Nightly bassos coupled with loud shouting, for a party the normal background noise, and many drunken Americans come directly on the lowest floor already, increase with each floor. Is the room the you get directly under the room is impossible to sleep.
Complaint at the front desk with the explanation the wedding celebrations turned away. Since we only 2 nights to have slept there, I am a further discussion out of the way and I was with very short nights compensated.
The hotel offers the following positive: very close to Sea World, very close to the San Diego Beach, many ( water) sports facilities at the hotel, not far from of the city away, a typical motel/ hotel facilities (no special extras), no noise from the planes
The negative things I have already addressed, with children I would seriously consider, whether stay in the main building even remotely be considered could be. read more

Short and sweet. I recommend the hotel in any case further.
Beautiful location, good room.
The check-in worked fast and smooth. We got a studio.
There was everything available.
A small kitchen with stove, oven, Pots, Pans, fridge, Freezer, microwave, coffee machine.
The room was massive. There was also a sofa with a table, chairs with a table, broad stools, large closet available.
Iron and iron were in closet.
The bathroom was also OK.
The shower was large. It was washbasin tiny.
There was a foyer to the bathroom. With a large mirror and hair dryer.
There was no safe. ...
In the room free Wi-Fi with good reception.
Pool there was also.
Parking was free. read more

the hotel consists of several Houses, we stayed in the 3-story house in the
2. floor with wonderful View of the bay. There is a 5-storey house and a 2-storey house and 3 rows BungaloWs. Whose middle row (View
on the parking spaces) is currently undergoing renovations. The Eastern row has view
the Bay, but a large parking is between them. is great Western
row: 5 meters to the sandy beach and more 5 meters to to the water!
On the state of the other Houses and the bungalows I can't say, but our room was desperately in need of ... renovation. read more

We spent two nights in this hotel.HCLFHLThe Bahia resort is a well cared for area in a beautiful location right on the water. There are plenty of new rooms-story buildings built in 2. Otherwise, there is the complex of several units, most of the rooms have a balcony or terrace.HCLFHLUnfortunately we had one of the few rooms without a balcony, but wasn't all that bad. The rooms have a good size and there was everything available, which one needed. Table with chairs, coffee maker, tv, hair dryer, iron and ironing board! There was a safe unfortunately not. ...HCLFHLThere are plenty of parking spaces in the area, these are free, as well as the Internet in the front desk area.HCLFHLCheck-in was smooth, the staff was very friendly.HCLFHLIn the middle of the complex is a swimming pool. This but we didn't used, but it looked clean. But could be for the size of the hotel area was a bit too small.HCLFHLThe hotel is located nearby from sea world, in a few minutes with a car, you're there. To the centre you can take a few minutes longer.HCLFHLWe felt very comfortable and would book this hotel again.HCLFHL HCLFHL read more

The hotel is getting old and therefore very is the price/performance ratio not given.
We were already in May three days at the Bahia resort. We had booked a standard room with garden view. During our stay in May we got a 'upgrade', however, did not, that is an upgrade. The room was quite large with a small kitchen, and a view of the water. It is just a pity, that everything was very, very old and worn is. Because, some furniture, carpet, etc. not to get more clean, even if you would scrub, the 'stuff bear'. Standard room with ... garden view a (in October) is very much small-certainly only half as large (no kitchen). Since the plants in the garden are apparently not regularly cut, is as good as no light the rooms. It was so unacceptable, that we asked for a different room. Very nice (and, because they certainly were not full) they moved us to another room (same category as the May: large with kitchen overlooking the water) was a lot brighter and larger the same problem as well as the May. Everything is very, very old and no longer beautifully. You may definitely not without flip flops in the room walking around. Our decision is taken: San Diego love to stay there again, but not the Bahia. read more

The hotel area was nicely laid out. The Studios were already quite old and in need of redecoration. The size of the studios was great. The Bahia Belle for which you get a voucher was terrible. There were just drunk teenagers (about 21 ☺ on the ship. We only waited habe'n, that the hour on the ship deals quickly. We thought it was a nice excursion ship and boat. The Pacific beach is within walking distance. The quality of the beach was not so beautiful, because it looks like a lake. A plus for the hotel is, that there is ... no parking adopted. This is rather rare in the United States. read more

The complex is okay, the staff was quick, friendly and efficient. Good quiet room in the two-story building
(2 floor) 1 bedroom with tv, 1 living room seating, chairs and a table, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and television. Balcony overlooking the water with two chairs. Free Internet at the front desk. Free Parking. The beach of San Diego is not nice, too much sea-grass which was not removed. Very many people, bicycles, and pedestrians mix. The grounds of the hotel are quite spacious and consists the entrance lobby and restaurant, followed a shop, the pool area, a collection of bungalows and a 5 story main building. Behind the restaurant are still 2 other buildings with hotel rooms on two floors. At the hotel entrance is the home of Billy and Gracie, 2 charming sea lions. Breakfast is not included, there was no free internet in the lobby (almost standard in other hotels). Parking is free, since we had the 'luck' that time just returned a large free private parking area, there was fresh paved and ... marked it is a powerful crowded on the remaining parking on site (about 10 spots in front of the lobby) or was outside in a public lot (connected to a long walk). The bungalows had but everyone has a parking lot on your doorstep. The garden area made a clean impression and the hotel seems a venue for weddings, conferences and other events to be very popular. The banquet facilities for guests "excellent" located on the whole 5. Floor of the main building, where the lower 4 as I said, the standard room. read more

We booked this hotel at short notice in the USA for the purpose of the reviews here. Unfortunately, the assessment of the other reviewers do not share. The Bahia resort is not only old, but most urgent need of a complete remodelling. There can not even the free upgrade of the room was a studio with kitchen of the weaknesses. The rooms are very dated (70er years?) and the furniture already run-down. So could aufgkommen not a comfortable feeling. The hotel is located in the flight path to the San Diego airport.
That's not the proximity to the beach, bars ... and SeaWorld. I would not lose them again here, check-in. The service was so far in the hotel okay, breakfast also. read more

very nice location on a headland at a lagoon with a private beach at the lagoon. about 500 meters from the Pacific beach. Nice pool area with very large Spa. Varied Freizeitmöglichkeitén such as tennis and in particular of the lagoon, you can rent Pedal boats from the hotel to the Kata Merano everything. The rooms have a dream beach. The prices (basic room inboard) have fluctuated from Labourdayweekend-Saturday ($259) up to the normal very strong Tuesday ($99). So rather under the week plan. The Bahia resort set on a headland in the Mission Bay. Next to the 4 -story main house is the hotel only composed of a maximum two-story buildings, where a relatively large room. The area was neat and clean with our stay at any time. Parking was ample. The hotel is not very new, and the shows in the one or the other also (such as the carpet in the room). But it is not so much so that you feel uncomfortable here because. The guest structure was a colorful mix: many Americans (on the weekend we three wedding here) ..., some Europeans (mostly German). You find all age groups, taking our time more younger crowd (less than 40 ) was on duty. read more

Because the Hotel is not new, was already included in other reviews. However, the hotel is clean and well maintained. The Badezwimmer in the studio room was definitely too small. The rooms at the back facing the Bay tomorrow at the time of delivery of goods too loud. From 06:00 o'clock does. The Windows must be closed.
