For a city trip to Edinburgh the hotel was suitable. It has of course luxury to offer, but we did not also expect that. Surprisingly good the breakfast was, there is nothing to complain about there. In the bathroom it would not have been bad, if a soap nor other article on grooming available would have been, that can be 4 stars normal also expect. The location is not bad, but you already several minutes, until the grassmarket arrives. read more

Unfortunately there was in the hotel a huge construction site, which we when booking not mitgeitelt was. Noise and dirt without limits. Hotel lies secluded from main street where it is quiet, unless at 7:30 o'clock in the morning the trash collection comes! It was so loud, that I 3rd floor thought the hotel tumbles down. Hotel probably good for Scottish standards, but can not be praised unconditionally. Cleanliness in the bathroom well, room and bathroom were large. Bed a bit too small. Breakfast was good, there amongst others local specialties were handed (haggis, black pudding and so on). ... Was the best, that it also vegetarian sausages. Friendliness of the staff for breakfast held itself very within limits, at the front desk one was quickly treated, carelessly. I did not the feeling as a guest welcome. Schedule, you can say, it could be better but also bad. For a city trip ok. More than 100 Euro per room including breakfast it is definitely not worth. Bus station on the doorstep. On foot from the Weaverly bridge strenuous, uphill. Better change in the 3 or 8, stops close to the hotel. Airport bus for 3 pound recommendable. The royal museum of Scotland is nearby( about 5 minutes ), old town/Royal Mile circa 10 minutes. Will next time rather Motel One at the Weaverly bridge is, this is the location and price-performance unbeatable for Edinburgh. read more

For a one-day stay very well-suited hotel. Everybody was friendly and accommodating.
To the center it were just a few meters. Absolute silence prevailed in the surroundings of the hotel, that means, we could sleep well. The food was good and plenty. The (or) haggis were a good experience worth. Tasted.
It is nice, if you local cuisine also get. read more

Nice and peacefully located hotel for a city tour in Edinburgh. Approximately 10 minutes on foot within walking distance from the Royal Mile and very good on the edge of the center located. We had these year lucky a room with a view of ' Arthur Seat' to have, which is a very impressive view is. We can recommend the underground leaders of the mercat tours at the beautiful Stories from the story from Edinburgh experiences and the vaults of Southbridge run. read more

The hotel has 78 room and is in a good and clean state. The carpets in the hallways and in the room were very run-down and should be urgently renovated. In our reservation the breakfast was included in the price. The types of people are international. read more

the hotel is located in a quiet lateral road close to the castle hill. The guests are too many tourists from gigabyte/USA. The hotel is rather small. It makes an very well maintained impression. I would recommend this hotel with clear conscience recommend it. We will definitely come again. read more

Convenient hotel for a city trip. Castle, Royal mile, etc. are national museum within a few minutes walking distance. Rooms are attractively furnished, bathroom was OK, except for the hardly usable mini tap at the wash basin, the finger wash yourself to an almost impossible task. Breakfast buffet is OK, 'English' selection was excellent, the 'continental' rather modest. Highly recommended is a (free), the Museum of Scotland, which was very much for children has to offer. The rood-National Holly across the road from the castle, where despite city directly at the Highlands dip. Also recommended is the Tottoo the fringe ... festival, which cabaret to the street and x venues throughout the city offers. We will definitely go back to Edinburgh. p. p. cheaper than shuttle (3.5 pounds) from and to the airport is a bus to Waverly station, really recommendable. read more

A city hotel with sandstone facade set within about 5 floors including 2 lifts. The front desk is about 4 steps. The rooms are with and without breakfast bookable. The breakfast buffet costs £10 per person. We found the public of mixed. The restaurant is located on the ground floor next to the entrance and is open residents. read more

The hotel is a mix of tourists and business people use. It is modern, newly and regarding the cleanliness there was nothing to complain about. We only with breakfast so that we are independent. The guests who we saw arrived - as we realized - mainly from the UK. German but also some. of all ages were there. read more
