We were surprised by the great pool on the deck in the 5th floor. Great for relaxing after sightseeing, museum etc. On a hot summer day. Comfortable loungers, fluffy towels and skyscraper around us. The children wanted not any more since way, although otherwise all attractions easy to reach on foot were. Perfect location! read more

Desi-level staff of the patent, not the on complaints received. 1 king size bed was booked, but it was given a room with two queen beds saggy. On demand meant it only, that the hotel was fully booked, and a room change is not possible is. Email questions unanswered the holiday. All in all, you could get the same quality at a Hilton garden inn for a cheaper price. read more

We spent a week at this hotel, 24th floor, with lake view. Room was great, as usual Doubletree, welcome with warm cookie -), the bathroom clean and large. We only had a problem with the humidity after showering, tried them all, but not be deducted? The view from the window was gigantic and difficult to tear ourselves away to explore could. The hotel has bagel Bros, great for breakfast. Wireless internet is free in the lobby, for example. We had it in the room, otherwise fee. As mentioned above, as usual the Doubletree, very nice. The size was really okay, nor Additional seating except bed, in the window (great! ) and extra chair and desk with chair. Heating works very well, you could self-regulated. Minibar and small snacks cost, the prices were typical hotel prices. coffee making facilities are also available. A large flat screen with several American Sendern, ...

There are in the hotel, the Marketplace restaurant, seems to be very good, but we didn't try out the alternatives in the surrounding area. Bagel Bos. For breakfast is highly recommended, but there are also various other options in the area.

The staff was courteous. The rooms were cleaned every day and it was always clean. The bed was to die for, have never slept so well. Unfortunately, there was no safe in the room, we stayed in the reception in a safety deposit box our things free and is attended, is of course very inconvenient.

The pool (indoor) costs per day and person $15 , it was too expensive for us for a quick dip. In warmer days they have a second pool in the 5. Floor on the roof. Would be nice.

The metro is about 10 minutes to walk, but you can also great with the taxi, called the hotel right in front. Just returned from the airport and the airport we suggest taxi from (except Blue Line Grand (8 dollar which saves having to the change in the Red Line (cost $2.25 ). Several bus lines on the other way Michigan Avenue, two blocks away. The hotel is close to everthing Navy Pier 10 minutes on foot, center/loop also about 10 minutes. If you runs through the town, you'll see far more. Shopping and there is food on every corner. There is a supermarket across the street.

AIPORT Express (28 dollar) steers hotel every half hour. Taxi to the Blue Line cost US$7 , - dollar and Blue Line to O'har costs $2.25 -> economical choice! The large fitness center that was 2 years ago, it was replaced by a functional wellness center. Unfortunately there are no sauna more. There is free wireless internet access in the lobby. Swimming pool itself wasn't with special, but the terrace is huge and invites you to rest. read more

Very nicely decorated, spacious and (on the 16th floor) with a great view and window sill. Our "normal" double room had 2 double beds, minibar, writing desk and armchair and other Kleinmobiliar. Everything very tastefully furnished and in very good condition.

In the neighborhood the Magnificent Mile, with a number of shops, restaurants and other hotels in the neighborhood. The area is lively, safe and clean. To the foot of the Navy Pier (10 min), the pool (15 min) and the Millennium Park (15 minutes). A little less favorable connections to the Tube: about 8 minutes from the stop "Grand" the Red Line.
