The hotel in general is in a good state. The bathroom is in need of renovation. But with small flaws you can live. Because we our rooms all at the main pool had, you got the feeling, that the hotel small and cosy. However, if you the stairs to the upper rooms and pools climb one sees only the extensive the hotel. Counted we had 4 pools in the upper area of the hotel, as well as several private villas with private pools. We had booked all inclusive. With the food we were content so far, everyone has always something ... to be full found. Unfortunately during our stay no german guests in sight. More for that russians (young generation), english, spanish, italian and many locals (older generations). Compulsory or very helpful it is if you the english language or russian ☺ unfortunately speaks this hotel anyone spoke german besides the tour guide from Neckermann! read more

    The rooms are really spacious cut and also clean. Our rooms all were with a bath equipped and had partly even walk-in closets. Fridge, tv, air conditioning, and telephone were available and worked. Unfortunately only 2 german programs. (RTL, ZDF) Bathroom has gotten a bit old but clean and usable. Terrace is equipped with a small table and chairs.

    A restaurant on the first floor, the so-called palm restaurant is for the food in the morning, lunch and dinner in buffet form responsible. The selection was plentiful and varied. Cleanliness was given. Constantly scampered someone with a brush or cloth through the restaurant. The plates were cleared away quickly but it was waiting until you were really finished. Several times we have people observed, the the temperature of the dishes measured. The nicest you sat on of the terrace ☺ As mentioned above include several restaurants to the hotel the however not all inclusive. At certain times you can the beverages in the all-inclusive service was also there. The pay restaurants i couldn't say since i this didn't use,

    In the hotel everything is spoken except german. You got along best with english. Friendly i came all of the staff for. Of course you have against a small tip still more smile ☺ We have our beach chairs by the pool every day reserved and even the beverages we were except for the balcony brought ☺ Our room boy did his job well done and us even with flowers the morning. I recommend on not any the doctor in claim grow! Due to a sonnenstiches we had unfortunately on 4. day. The doctor, of course, only to understand with english or arabic told us that it is necessary for some hours in the hospital to go for infusions etc.. To get. The bill we got in the evening. 1000 € bar. As a small tip : Neckermann in its reisemappe a german speaking doctor of confidence, the call. And really important before ask which the whole costs and not so stupid and whole money on the table. The make only their fanatsiepreise, because the doctors there thought you get it in Germany with its travel insurance back. (unfortunately we had no)

    Kids club and children's entertainment was available. But i believe that it not many children use. Evenings there was in the 2. the sunset bar always first kids disco instead of and at the end the entertainment for adults. Cosy sitting, it is possible to smoke a hookah. The view of the hustle and bustle of the shopping street was fascinating. Beach chairs and umbrellas by the pool available and in good condition. The entertainment during the day on the slides pool probably take place. We have unfortunately not seen because we prefered to be at the small main pool were. The service there was excellent.

    From the airport we are about 20 minutes drive. The hotel is right in the shopping street so the optimal experience in the evening in front of the door. Always something going on. The beach is about 100 metres away as the crow flies. Unfortunately the beach very small and the loungers are very close together. As a result we prefer by the pool cozy. Restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. An italian, mexican, as well as a sushi bar. to the hotel. Nearby are also several suppliers the travel sell but we have our travel directly at Neckermann because of the safety requirements and german-speaking guide booked.

The hotel is made up of quite a few individual blocks of accommodation, and a main building which is attached to the main facilities. Facilities include a gym, spa, two restaurants, several bars dotted about, internet room, shops, reception and about 5 pools. At least 3 of the pools are heated. All guests stay on an all inclusive package so all meals, snacks and drinks are included. The main guests are Russian, followed by Scandinavian and British. As we were coming away, guest relations said that a lot of Egyptians were due to arrive. Hard to say how many rooms ... were available because they were so spread out.     The room although a little dated was perfectly functional. I believe that Block 900 is the most modern, but we needed to be close to the other facilities. Maintenance had to be called on three occasions, but the problems were soon resolved. The TV has enough channels to keep all nationalities amused, and there is also a small fridge and a free safe. Two bottles of water was left each day, and the shower gel, shampoo , soap and body lotion was replenished each day. Enough drawer space for your bits and pieces, and a tripple wardrobe with plenty of hangers. The terrace was an adeqate size with enough space to put two chairs and a table on it. The room was kept very clean, and the bedding changed virtually daily. No tea and coffee facilities though, but I think you can hire a kettle.

    The standard of food was our main complaint. It was cold, of poor standard and was repetetive. There should be a themed meal each day which should have been Asian, mediterranean, bar b q etc, but each day was exactly the same. The roast was always dry and cold. and many of the food stations were empty. There are two restaurants, the other being on the ground floor of block 900. Speaking to others guests, the food was exactly the same there. When speaking to staff members about the problem, they said the hotel had only recently employed a new Head chef, and since then they have seen a marked decrease in the standard of food, and a marked increase in complaints.

    Service by the staff was excellent. Very attentive and willing to do that little bit extra to make your stay enjoyable. All spoke several languages fluently. A special mention must be made to all the staff around the main building pool. We used the Palm restaurant which is upstairs in the main building for most of our meals, and again found the majority of staff to be efficient and friendly. I did have to pass comment on one particular staff members uniform which didn`t look as if it had been washed for several days, but this wasn`t the norm.

    Sports and games all take place around the animation pool. This is the noisy pool which plays music throughout the day. There is also a few water slides at this pool, and again a bar and a snacks area. There is also a pool which they call the Olympic pool. This pool again has a bar and a snacks area, but is mainly used for the more serious swimmer. We used the main pool in the middle of the main block. We had already asked for a terrace overlooking the pool which was waiting for us on arrival. Out of the room and within 10 mtrs you were swimming in divinely warm water. The pool is surrounded by the main building, so by 2:30pm you were in the shade. Not a problem though because within 10 minures you can be at any one of the other pools, or by the beach. To get to the other blocks and pools you need to go to the 3rd floor, and exit out the left hand side. You will then need to go up a rather steep set of stair so not ideal for those with mobility issues.

    The location could not be faulted. Step outside the hotel and you are amongst a miriad of shops and restaurants. Not for the feint hearted though. As soon as you venture up the street you are constantly hastled by the locals. Some are more persuasive than others, and on a few occasions not even a very firm no was enough. If you are not used to it, it can spoil your experience. The beach is only a few minutes away. although not a beach front location, the hotel has an area which has it`s own bar and snacks area. You can obtain fresh towels while you are there. Just hand in your towel card but remember to take it back otherwise you`ll be charged by the hotel at the end of your stay. There is a small jetty which you can walk out on, and there you can pick up a boat or enjoy the many water sports on offer. The animation team are on hand with music and games, but you do feel a little hemmed in because of the amount of sunbeds. From the hotel you will need to walk to the right until you see a casiono. In the middle of the casino is a set of stairs that you wald down which will lead you to the Tropitel beach location.

After a long search and browsing of reviews were we (2 good friends 25 year and 23 years) us decided for this hotel. We were very warmly welcomed and received room (room 724). This room was not in the main building, but in one of the small 'villas'. The room was on the first glance really good, however the bathroom did not meet our expectations, it seemed a bit shabby. The hotel offered us immediately different rooms at, but we had to see, the our room the most beautiful was (great location, not directly in the main building, near the ... restaurant, view of the ocean, although not booked and clean). It turned out, that the in the bathroom rust (water quality, processed materials) was, by all rooms of the hotel moved. Our personal room boy cared perfect for us, he cleaned very thorough, gave us every day water bottles ready and inquired, if everything is satisfactory. Although we only booked half board, we weren't missing anything. We got bottled water daily and for the food we could tea, coffee, water or syrup free drink. We preferred the small restaurant, which is not in the main building was. The waiters were very friendly and always ready for a joke. The service tuned! Also the food was very varied and tasty (i am very picky)! At the breakfast buffet were different types of bread, vegetables, fruit, donuts, pancakes, fresh omelettes, different eivariationen. The dinner there was for example duck, poultry, self assembled salad, bread, cake, täglichn you could pasta individually make, sushi. The complex is huge and there are certainly 3-4 pools (unfortunately we are not poolgänger, but a view we have risked). From all pools are several times daily frequently taken. You have the feeling customer satisfaction is the hotel very important. A lady from the hotel management ask for the zufallsprinzipp guests to their satisfaction and is also daily as contact person on site. Famous have something negative and a dinner with mexican and the actual problems were fixed on the same day. The beach. So it is really a very small section, where it in the high season certainly is very crowded. The entertainers offer water aerobics at, beach games, dancing. Massages or henna is possible. The beach is otherwise very clean and you can take a nice into the water rrein run without the you need bathing shoes. The location of the hotel was for us it was simply great! Everything was on the doorstep. Clearly, it is just like, because as soon as you the hotel leaving was one in the life! Everywhere bars, restaurants, discos (little buddha, Hard Rock Café, pasha) shops, mcdonalds, pizza hut, taxi providers. But the price is already tidy. Barter, barter, barter! I can can only recommend everyone to the bus stop to walk (5-8 minutes street just returned from), and the old market to drive ( properson 1 egyptian pounds). You can also as staff (staff) and you already have your things cheaper. During the 2 weeks we have 3 excursions, which we didn't book through the hotel have, but on the street. 1) ganztags' blue hole ' = Jeep Safari, bedouins, camel 45 minutes, snorkelling 1,5 hours blue hole, delicious food, shopping in dahab (is a large verkaufshalle ) and then by Jeep back 2) half-day 'Ras Mohammed with bus' -by bus into the park, a short stop at the large gate, and then several schnorchelstopps (such a cracking water, brilliant, i can only recommend!) 3) full-time ' bootstoure to tiran island' -3 schnorchelstopps, drive by on the famous shipwreck, delicious food on the ship and drinks inklusivie. For all 3 we booked excursions 60 Euro per person paid, what a good price is! The exchange is worthwhile from! For all smokers a note: looking for a real supermarket on (like in Germany kaufland or Real) there is a bar L&M converted 13 Euro! So for us it was an amazing vacation, but unfortunately is Egypt very on russians (entertainment in the hotel, seller.) But if the egyptians received, the you is german the eyes to glow. They like the german, must but their most customers adjust and the russians are. We would recommend this and and the hotel definitely book it again! read more

We had a relaxing vacation, it was really nice, it was everything that you need. Friendly staff, helpful and humorous. The only small complaint was, that the toilet constantly ran. But even there was a solution find. Unfortunately were during our travels there a few german, but very lots of russians, what evenings also quite noisy. We would nevertheless fly there again! As young couples we find this hotel recommendable. read more

All together we would the hotel not again book. The food was great. The service a catastrophe. The ambience of the area of food has the charm a cafeteria. Merely motivated and nice were the Reinigungsmann for the rooms and the pool boy at the swimming pool at the sunrise bar. The barkeeper here was friendly and tried hard. The hotel has seen better times and is to our assessment of all at best worth 3 stars. The cleanliness of the hotel leaves much to be desired. The Resortteil is very nice, although the rooms velvet furniture renovated should be. ... Would it not also times the curtains to wash, as the for 10 years no washing machine more have seen. The all inclusive has its flaws and one for things like water in bottles, espresso or fresh orange juice to pay dearly. The choice of food was rich and very good. Something for everyone. Most of the time we were not in the hotel, but to the diving, so for the time we spent there was okay. We would recommend the hotel definitely not. read more

Never again in Sharm el Sheik in this hotel. The Doctors in the hotel can only their own language and really bad English. The cleanliness is really bad, one must everything was clean! I would not recommend! read more

A nice hotel with large complex and several pools. The location is actually optimally. One is directly in town, to the beach it are 5 minutes on foot where you but also with a Goolfwagen drive. The food with the German chef was always delicious and diverse. For people who peace uchen are rather the bungalows recommendable, the hotel's is E more evenings what noisy. But if the balcony door is bek one not so much. Excursions there are a lot of and several offerers locally the cheaper IND than the RV. To the beach the quite small and cramped ... mitLiegen was all in all a beautiful successful holiday. I have just come back from a week at this hotel. And i was amazing. There were 6 of us all together, and we went to celebrate my mums 50th Birthday. And we definitely celebrated in style. When we arrived we asked to upgrade, which the staff did for my mum free of charge for her room and only £40 for the other room for the full week. Our bags and suitcases were then taken up to the apartments for us. All the staff were absolutely lovely. Especially Mohamed R. who worked round the pool bar and made sure that ... all 6 of us had a sun lounger and clean towels by the pool every day. He was so warm and friendly and always had time for a little chat. Then there was Gemal who was one of the waiters in the Executive restaurant, he always reserved our table so we could sit together and was always on hand to top up our drinks. He was a very nice man that always had a smile on his face. The food was good, not a bad selection if you dont mind trying new things. And the everything was always very well presented. I will definitely be coming back and bringing my children with me. read more

Tables for common food for 7 persons there was only for daily tip, Bars open and close when they want, The selection of the bars to most 2 stars. We were in the resort area, you have to be a good on foot his, but it is worthwhile. Very nice garden and a wonderful view over the bay. The staff are super friendly but spoke no German. With English you got along well. All inclusive we can absolutely recommend. The food is diverse and you always found something delicious. Hotel is recommendable if one not in the morning at 06:30 o'clock get up must. Before the main building of the hotel it is hotel's own disco which unfortunately despite closed window is not to be missed. No luxury hotel! I would with my family ( child 3 years) no choice vacation spend want, not old, however everything very worn/ shabby is. bungalows very much difficult on elevator, and by/on the stairs main building to reach. could everything once again thorough be replaced( beach towels, towels, Curtains, bed sheet, and so on)! Gray AMM the slim is the front doors! was convenient for us, as we only had one night possibility, which looked reasonably central. We were anyway the whole day diving. read more
