You feel here immediately welcome. The family Costa knowlegeable and is with all requests very helpful. A very clean room and bathroom, a decent mattress, a good breakfast and the good location in the smart village DAS Lajes do this hotel an all around good experience. read more

The family pension features 16 guestrooms and had 2007 only been finished. This can be reflected in the rooms, everything is still quite new. Cleanliness is OK. There is only breakfast. Guest structure was when we were there, there were mainly German and Portuguese. The owner married couple speak good English and also a few staff are in English. read more

    The rooms are simple and functional. The bathroom is very nice. We had a family room and 2 beds available at no charge. This was also necessary since the closet is so small that it is just a few clothes hangers clothes. As a family with 2 kids can stay longer time is beyond me. This is the only criticism I could put for the pension. There is in front of the rooms a nonprivate patio, where you can sit well in the evenings, with a view of the sea and the Pico.

    Breakfast only was offered, but that was one of the best we had in the Azores. There was even a yogurt or an apple.

    You can go to das lajes to hike or whales and dolphins watching. So there is no pension a swimming pool or other sport and entertainment offers. about 200 meters away there is a lovely Natural swimming pool.

    It is located on a side street, about 50 meters from the harbor. Therefore, it is not very noisy, but still close to the town center. Shopping possibilities are nearby and the office for the whales-Whatching are also right on the harbor.

The Pension by Camilo and conceicao Costa is situated in the center of town of das lajes, almost at the harbor, and features 16 guestrooms. This is actually quite new and well kept, cleanliness okay. There was a decent breakfast, with the best we had in the Azores. Guest structure was when we were there, there were mainly German. read more

    We had a family room for 2 persons. The bathroom was very modern and nicely decorated. The only downfall to our room was the wardrobe. As a family with 2 kids can manage is beyond me. We had 2 beds could be desired and our clothes on the beds with handtowels. A few clothes hangers in the closet fit and nothing else. In front of the rooms offer a nice Gemeinschaftsteeasse with views of Mount and the sea.

    Staff was very friendly, the Besitzerdehepaar speaks English well and go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Room cleaning was in order.

    There is a computer in the hallway on the upper floor with Internet access, which worked very well. about 200 meters from the pension there is a nice Naturschwimmbecken.

    Das lajes is a quiet, tranquil village on Pico, about 1 hour drive from the capital Madalena away. The B&B is conveniently located in the city center. Shopping possibilities in the surrounding area. The restaurant of the Pension whales Come in is also just around the corner and is highly recommended. There was only entertainment possibilities whale watching. I think most visitors. But you can also great hiking on the island. We were on Pico, is very strenuous, but an experience.
