An amazing hotel with the most friendly, helpful and child-friendliest staff especially in the restaurant. The food was excellent and the rooms very comfortable. The breakfast and the 4-course dinner very tasty and lovingly prepared and friendly and in a good mood served. We have the expertise and hospitality of the locals service in the restaurant especially estimated. Every guest as a regular service, which unfortunately in the tyrolean hotels to be desired leaves! The hotel has a fantastic idyllic location, surrounded of mountains and very peaceful, only a light bachrauschen in the open window to hear! Pool and wellness ... area clean and tidy. One has in every area felt comfortable. We will certainly also a summer vacation in green tree and already looking forward to it now. read more

We had a pleasure to saty in Hotel Grüner Baum for Skiing weekend with our Family and Friends. Hotel was great and the Food was excellent. Location was few kilometers outside Bad Gastein but the shuttle took us to and back from the Skiing lifts. read more

An enormous nice short vacation in kötschachtal! Here it is very quiet and you can easily and great relaxing. The hotel is very beautiful and the employees very friendly and always cooperative. For the well-being of each guest will constantly and all done, so everyone comfortable. We had a great 2 days in the hotel grüner baum and had a big room with four poster bed, as well as view of the mountains. We can recommend also the spa area. One is well advised and can totally relaxation at the treatment. Unfortunately there are in Bad Gastein almost no shop. ... We are then after bad hofgastein dangers, we were to find something. The breakfast buffet was very good - the increase was then still the great dinner. Thanks dear team from the green tree for the great hospitality and service. We will definitely come back! read more

Beautiful hotel for relaxing and hiking; very pleasant ambience; from the price of the food and drinks priced a little high (beer €4,00!)
Finnish sauna very worn-out - unfortunately no resting room in the immediate sauna area;
It is definitely necessary, a private vehicle to have, since nevertheless very remote-no entertainment possibilities in the evening - to bad gasteion are it about 4 kilometer (but there is nothing going on '-ghost town', ; after bad hofgastein about 10 kilometer!) read more

We were last year in the autumn guests of the hoteldorf grüner baum. On arrival we were very friendly at the front desk and it was also water enough! Something like that i really never experienced something like that and you immediately felt homely. The rooms were very clean and big enough. The restaurant fulfilles all wishes. You will very accommodating served and the food tasted excellent! You pay attention really to the details and is again very hospitable. A subsequent visit in the hotel bar is a must, have my best cocktails. The breakfast you can in a pleasant ... ambience and you get everything your heart desires. Particularly beautiful i found the silberkannen in which the tea is served. Come i think from a former Grandhotel. On our route we were again very friendly at the front desk advised. One of the most beautiful hotels of the world. Fantastic situation in the middle of the mountains. Great atmosphere, if you want something typical 'Austria' : this is it.
Furthermore good food, spa, indoor swimming pool a lot of walking tracks nearby.

Top upscale family-friendly four star superior hotel. The restaurant is fine Austrian kitchen with
internationelem twist. It is quiet and slightly posh to-without that it disturbs. The level is high! For children there are two large games room, one for small and one for the larger with computer games and Kicker. There are two Streichelgehege. Breakfast is very good and varied. The area is exttrem nice, there are 2 kilometer until Bad Gastein. The hotel's atmosphere is simply brilliant, in our room there were even 2 flat screen TV ( with children good). I liked the separate dressing area and ... separate toilet in the bathroom
