Wonderful hotel by the beach

Very nice cheap hotel with a excellent restaurant. The breakfast is for German conditions expressed extensive (full English breakfast). In the evening are particularly the fish dishes recommendable. The asstrand is located directly in front of the hotel and is on the car-free promenade. Only the tv-program is not satisfactory. The only German receive tv-transmitter was RTL. What absolutely not our thing. read more

When we arrived, there was already the first problem. The hotel reservation was not before. Only two days later we had the certainty, that we cannot remain. There has apparently our tour operator slept. At the front desk us only said, that it was not their fault and we the room in advance pay have to. Well - we had it already in the August paid-). The room was small and without a balcony. Balcony by us one booked but we got none. Food was on 'English' art. In the hotel were as well too many English. The staff ... speaks only English. During dinner we were with the drinks over the ear gehauen. This hotel we will not any longer visit. Maybe the offers of possibilities for recreation in the high season better - in October nearly everything is dead. read more

We had over booking. De a deluxe twin room with a view of the sea booked. The room and the balcony was so small, that only a move could. The room was very spartan, the term 'deluxe' we could only the price apply. After complaint us a big room assigned, the our idea and the international standards was. At the check-in we were like school kids treated, and the managers afterwards apologized. The only very positive was the location in front of the beach. Apart from that the hotel can only as average bwertet be, for that price you find ... better hotels in the neighboring town villamoura ca. read more

The cathedral Jose is great the Algarve to explore

The cathedral Jose hotel is from Faro airport easy to reach. From here the Algarvebesucher many daytrips undertake, to the area to meet. To the beach the Strandfreund only with the ferries on the lying off Islands or by car a swimming spot (circa 30 minutes). The hotel offers a good relaxation by the pool; however on time the guest 'beach chair' secure. The breakfast is varied. Treatments in the spa area are also offered. Value for money seems to me not so well-balanced. Fitness area rather standard. read more
