There is an old and a new part of the hotel, around approximately 200 rooms. We had naturally a room in the old part gotten. Here the hotel has absolutely no 4 or 5 stars! Great small bathroom, with shower curtain. The whole bathroom after showering underwater! The cleaning ladies have the rooms only poor 'tidied up', towels, as well as towels only direct request to the cleaning ladies! Drinks must during dinner again be paid on our own. - strong price! read more

    The island is beautiful! Beautiful countryside. The beaches in Hersonissos are not so easy accessible, as rocks or such celing slabs in the water are. In Malia or sisi is more beautiful beaches. Apart from that pretty port with clubs and restaurants of all kinds in abundance! To other places to visit, you can really cozy a scooter or like rents. Ierapetra& Nikolaos are worth seeing.

At the start the week we were in the old building of the hotel (an error by the travel agents). The rooms of the building were very small and not so clean. Because the hotel but a wonderful staff has, these us after 3 days a room in the new building offered. Had here also no extra charge. The rooms in the new part were super nice (very modern decor ), large and clean. It also has a great view. The complex really impressed us. The hotel has a top location - after 2 minutes you are on the promenade ... respectively at the sea. The food from the buffet is less recommendable, but the show cooking is great! For young people were many discos, bars but also restaurants nearby! The hotel looks, as the pictures. But you could see that only the new building and not the building. Very well maintained facilities; the superior rooms great; cleanliness really good; to the center just 5 minutes on foot and nevertheless you hear in the hotel nothing! And to the beach it are maximum 50 meters! Food is in buffet form and it is surely something for everyone ( but there is little variety returns), but outside of the dining room a additional kitchen in the a couple more ' delicacy' freshly prepared are! Staff are very friendly, at the front desk often also German-English is always! The rooms are equipped with everything, that you need and the beds are ... really good! The hotel consists of a older and a new gebaudeteil, whereby the newer building much beautiful and modern and can only be recommended is. In spite of the relatively large hotels it was pleasant and not crowded. We had the half board and at each meal time a beautiful table with friendly staff. There is for every meal time a buffet, which plenty of choice offers however nothing special is. The hotel offers two pools and enough love and sun screens. The audience was very mixed. There is families with smaller children, older couples to feierwütigen young people. Resort & ... spa is called the hotel, but you should watch out, because it's not everything in the price included. The use the spa and sport area is extra remuneration. read more

    I can only on the rooms in the new area judge! The room is large and light. The rooms are modern and clean. There are in the bathroom and in the main room beautiful large mirror and much space to put things. The balcony is also large and with a table and chairs equipped.     There is in two minutes distance one beach. This is partly with chairs and umbrellas stocked, which you could rent. There is also a small section with private umbrella and towel use. The beach is narrow and during the day very busy. The important thing is, that you are in the surrounding mini markets shoes buy, as the entrance was very rocky and partly hard. The water is in spite of everything exceptionally beautiful and very recommendable. The beach is clean. The place is on the coast along and is very lots of shops, bars and restaurants equipped. Everything is in walking distance, if you however nevertheless want to drive can on every corner a car, quad or scooter hire. Many bars and restaurants offer free wi-fi at. Superior room! Albatros spa resort a rather small hotel. Three wings of the building, two new buildings, near two fresh water pools with sufficient the offer for sun loungers. The hotel complex has furthermore with a ' gourmet restaurant', spa, fitness room, snack bar, shop and a jeweler. The hotel is in direct central location. As quiet as it is you get the but not with. The superior rooms are spacious and modern decor. Only fly in the ointment is the food - offer, variety and quality leave to but much to be desired \u2639 so better just a bed ... & breakfast. read more

The rooms in the new building and stay there, is very nice. Old building the rooms are to the pool oK, but you should the 4 * room in the new building. A lot of variety in the food, 3 times the week in addition evenings outside offered something and before our eyes. Less than 150 meters to the beach. Unfortunately without loungers and umbrella of the pool, but there can be rented. Gravel sandy beach rather narrow, but not crowded. Proximity to the restaurants, shops and discos is perfect. You can move, but didn't have to walk forever. All ... people are very friendly and unlocked. Downside: there is lots of Russians in the place, which the hotel also other nationalities as guests can. The hotel is really recommendable. We were in new part of the hotel and even had enough place that bed for the daughter convert. However Don't forget beach shoes. At the beach were partly very lots of small sea Urchins. We would go there again at any time. read more

    Large, beautiful, modern and new furniture and very clean. We had a balcony on the poolside with something view of the sea - very nice. Also big balcony.     There was two restaurants (the 'a la carte' -restaurant 'Daphne' there was more often even theme nights, such as for example Hummernacht -this food you could however additional to half board pay (15 euros ), which we didn't use ). The other 'main restaurant' was in buffet form. The breakfast buffet repeated in the long term, but was nevertheless reasonable. The dinner was always very varied and delicious. You could always between several appetizers, main courses and desserts. The quality and the quantity the food was very good! There was often typical local dishes, but also alternatives this (it gave in my opinion also enough offer for vegetarians if needed ). Positive should be emphasized also the 'show cooking': every evening there was in a separate cookery a other court, which directly prepared was (there were different theme evenings like for example Italian Pasta, with the one between 5 sauces could choose from-the noodles were then directly in front of our eyes prepared and were delicious ). In the morning had the chef already ran: he has every morning fresh Omelet and fresh Crêpes prepared ( delicious! ). for breakfast was coffee, tea, water and 2-3 juices (Tasted: well ) inclusive, during dinner had one the beverages additional figures ( a bottle of water 4,60 euros ). Tip you don't have to give, but the nice waiter deserved it!

    the staff were (almost ) all friendly and very attentive and fast. All spoke English, many also the necessary words German. Here once again a big thank you to our favorite waiter Andy- always in a good mood, very attentive and nice! the cleaning of the rooms was also very good. Here to mention, that the beds when cleaning a huge large noise cause, from the cleaning ladies to front and back and forth to refer. This disturbed us very much-after the third night we have ear plugs must get. Over additional services we can't say anything, since we didn't use it. From and to was the sound of one of the German channels canceled if we at the front desk have complained about, was this usually within a very short time again fixed.

on arrival you wanted us to the waiters in the old building. The room was very dark and very poor condition, before small balcony with 2 m high wall. We refused and then opposite in the small hotel. Room was OK. But TV with only 1 program. After 1 week should we move in the new part. Has of course not worked.     There are 2 pools (one for the smaller guests). But relatively small are. by the pool there were beach chairs, if you but a should you spätesrtens around 7 get up. twice the week there was a dance performance, but anyway not really was attractive.

    the beach is not really far away, however it is not (as described in the catalog!) a sandy beach. A beach with gravel, it unfortunately rather. Also is right next to the beach a street, so altogether it is really not very idyllic. Shade is anyway not really, so you are on beach chairs with sun screens (the one pay must) dependant. Was good however, that it next to the hotel a mini supermarket was, where you book drinks buy could.

The hotel had everything you would expect from a good resort wishes, it was clean, the rooms were cleaned each morning, the pool was cleaned every night, the staff was very friendly, the hotel was directly on the beach and close to the shopping area, the star beach and to the bars and clubs, you could go out and when you wanted, as I said, the hotel was very Central, it's worth it to spend your Holiday there, especially if you're traveling with a family. read more

I stayed with my 17-year-old daughter a great holiday in this hotel, it is to be recommended. Everything was to our satisfaction. Only the beach on the beach is not so good, as it is in the water right must mount rocks/stones, they are difficult to walk by surf and not just going to swim. read more

The rating applies to the superior rooms; it should be ensured, the rooms in the old block not book. They're not recommended. In the hotel everything was OK: staff: very nice and endeavored. To the wishes of the guests. The quality of the pool was good. Although located nearby a busy street, very quiet. The hotel is walking distance to everything: beach (but there are nicer beaches), shopping, bars, restaurants, a rental car (highly recommended is the book of the hire car on the hotel!). If you just want to relax, you are well cared for here. Knossos is by ... bus within easy reach. ISTA benefits to recommend the Spa offer. read more

We were lucky with the room. We had a Superior room on the top floor, which we didn't have a pool view, but also had a sea view! The location of the hotel scares the first moment a bit. There are many car rentals. But it was a very quiet 'yard' with the two pools and one reaches the (small) beach was fairly quickly. For dinner and breakfast there is a sufficient and varied offer. Around 21 o 'clock the dining room. five minutes before 21 o' clock was the fruit plate was filled. The waiters are very nice and ... simple. In the evening, the Samba bar at the US port (waiter Carlos! unique) and La Scala (right next door) recommended. read more

If you book this hotel, care should be taken, that no standard room bay. The is pure disappointment. In accordance with this room at all not the what the brochure to be offered. The room is small, dirty and on the state of the fifties years stood still. The place has actually a chersonissos beach. The so-called beach is about 100 meters away from the hotel, very rocky and narrow. You can only with bathing shoes in the sea go. Unsuitable for small children. The kitchen in the hotel is 0815. All in all the hotel is on each case to recommend. Important is, that one on each case a comfort room (new wing) bay. We had half board and were with the offer good, only the drinks were very expensive (0.4 L = 4.80 radler; o (). Is to be recommended, choose a place, the female service staff is served (were generally attentive). Unfortunately it is no free Wi-Fi in the hotel (card for 1 hour cost 3, - ), but almost in all other restaurants/bars can be used for free Wi-Fi. To mention is 'the street ' ... (beach promenade) thousands of friends. Here is the evening sparziergang something strenuous, because you all restaurant/Bar is with my friend touched ' Hey, come in. As we ' recommend Autovvermietung car travel, car park and office right next to the hotel. Very nice and competent service. read more
