This hotel is an actual university campus that offers couple of rooms for guests. It is mostly frequented by young tourists, students, and backpackers. It is a little far from the city but the value for money is good. read hotel review

The twin room seemed very simple yet very spacious. There were two single beds, two wardrobes, and two desks with chairs. You could easily fit 6 people in this room. It had big windows which could not be open though. Instead there was a ventilation. Each floor has few shared bathrooms which are actually of very good quality, with plenty stalls, showers and even baths. Sheets, and towels are provided.

The check-in was rather chaotic. Even though the check-out time was at 11am, they woulnd't let anybody to check in until 3pm sharp. I don't know if the system is designed that way that it wouldn't let them check people in before that or if it just something that they made up. Either way, because of this, many pople just waited in the small lobby area until 3pm and then everybody wanted to check in at once so it became very busy. The hotel has plenty rooms, definitely many that were not even occupied or booked, so I thought having people wait until 3pm was quite unfair and I never encountered it in any other hotel. Other than that the staff seemed friendly and helpful. Also, there is no wifi in the hotel which is a big minus for me

It is part of the University of Toronto complex which is very large, with many buildings and parks, so the area is quite nice and peaceful. It is quite far from downtown but a tram line runs along the street. Tokens can be bought at reception. The more you by the better the price is. There are also a convenient store and some fast food restaurants nearby.
