A vacation in varinda garden resort is definitely recommendable! The staff is very friendly. The bungalows and the hotel are very individually decorated. The only drawback is the bathroom - the needs a bit of getting used to. Everything else was perfect. At the beach are the loungers the restaurants recommended - a must is it on your own by moped the island to explore-we also had a Jeep Safari at mr.. And gebcht, what their money was worth! read more

We had the varinda for 3 nights with breakfast and have already at the check-in in love. The complex is higher on a hill with a view of the Lamai-bay. The whole resort is with so much heart and skill decorated, that you really in the corridor by the complex on every corner stay and again and again new ' frills' discovered.
Our room (bungalow 21 ' pomelo') was large, bright and clean, with ac, safety deposit box, tv, telephone, shower, a comfortable bed, refrigerator, and coffee/teeutensilien equipped. Also the balcony is lovely, with a lot of green and therefore ... hardly visible.
Of course everything is a bit more rustic-doors are not plan, the showers can already times the bathroom underwater -but the charm of the plant makes it easily makes up for it.
The place is over-admitted-steep and somewhat unstable stairs about minutes distance. To the beach we are always on the 'cafe del mar' walk, also about 5 minutes, so really not worth mentioning.
The staff is really super nice, we immediately comfortable, everything very easy going, however not less efficient and organized! Would again and again the varinda book. read more

We were as a young couple for 2 weeks and wanted to not any more away. The varinda is a brilliant hotel with private charm and very a lot of attention to detail. We were in the low season guest, in other words here some repair work took place. The service was on some days unpleasant construction noises with, the breakfast but always brought to the room, which also wasn't go wrong, because on this great balconies - felt in the middle in the jungle - to sit and in peace to food is also great. Besides we have as ... a comparison free wi-fi in the room received.
Our towels and bed sheets was every day changed. No reason to complain. One must perhaps the batiklook and also because, that the bed linen older and here and there already times was repaired, but it was definitely always freshly washed.
The way to the beach takes a bit and is because of steep stairs hit, but also for older people to create, the are light on their feet. We were mostly so 10 minutes until our towels spread.
Our wishes were and at all times and without any problems fulfilled.
We can recommend this hotel to everyone, the one site searches, the a bit, and close to of nature is (it can at night already sometimes become louder because of of various animals - in the garden mind you, but you get used to) and simply times something else as durchgestylte 5 star facilities directly at the beach. read more

The complex is simple exceptionally beautiful. It is in the thai style with a lot of attention to detail established. Every day one discovers new details and just feel comfortable. There are 40 bungalows, the complex and in the middle of the forest built. The types of people were very mixed. The fahtdauer from the airport is about 40 minutes. read more

I had in front of the departure the various reviews read and was a little skeptical. But I have to say, that I altogether really loved it was. The varinda garden resort is situated, in the middle of carefully manicured tropical vegedtation. For the street nothing was to be heard, the room was clean and with much attention to detail einrerichtet. It reminded a B isschen to the earlier colonial style, but it did not help at all tacky. Comparisons with other new built hotels you can the varinda garden resort not, it has a private atmosphere. The breakfast in ... the restaurant was versatile, the staff you noticed hardly, but it was always there, if something was needed.
The way down to the beach respectively the place is a bit of a drag, but after two days also had this way its appeal. Off course you had to a few minutes the stairs down - respectively uphill, I found the but not difficult. Just lazing around I wanted to also not.
There were all sorts of guests there, German, English., couples and families.
The manager of the resorts was always for interesting conversation ready, even beyond the small talks. The everywhere convivial respectively attached figures mirrors a little thai -lifestyle again. read more

The varinda garden resort is just different!
Should you/her a special and lovingly maintained Bungalowresort nestled in tschungelähnlichem vegetation and are not a resort which is exchangeable, then I would recommend this only recommend. The resort of friends recommended, as we like in Thailand feel wanted. It is very green and complicated, it constantly new corners, everything is run in a very open manner, it becomes never boring. Our family home was very spacious and maintained with a large terrace. There is also privacy, as the other beautiful houses something for itself is possible. The view from the pool over ... all resorts away on the sea is especially in the evening stunning. The food with a view of the sea under a Bambusdach you should just try it, genause as the chill lounge. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.
To the beach it are maximum 3 minutes, there, there are very nice cafes included free beach chairs for espresso.
So just go and test. The varinda garden resort again. read more

Get fresh fish of the market and use the barbecue area in the varinda garden resort -simply great middle in the jungle grill-who can do that already?

2. one inquires however, prior to the trip, such as respectively where the hotel lies! It a steep set ... of stairs there, the

A truly beautiful Resort. You feel like a child in a massive tree house in the jungle. Everything is very beautiful and with much attention to detail prepared. The rooms are beautiful and by the size adequate. Only the bathrooms could do with an overhaul need. It is rather simply held, is fulfilled stop its purpose.
Breakfast is good, but could be a little bit more selection of varieties have.
To the beach you have a small staircase path down, since these were not very lit is can he at night right be adventurous. But in five minutes one is ... in the town and extremely quiet and wonderful beach, at least at this time of the year. Simply total relaxation. read more

The bath mirror was 14 days not cleaned. By with a lot of tropical plants designed lovely area we had very many Mosikitos. Nevertheless we felt in this hotel very comfortable, and can in any case

Faithfully Replicated complex in the Thai style (see photos). Room clean and nicely arranged, also in Thaistill. Nice owner and staff. Breakfast was constantly refilled, Thai and American.

Lots of small bungalows in the middle in the jungle on the mountain. Very easy going, rather simple but clean. Nothing for very challenging people, but for the 'Otto-normalverbraucher' completely sufficient. Breakfast nothing lavish, but 'man' becomes full. Facilities very nicely designed, a lot of colorful with heart. Somewhat hippiestyle but sweet.
Despite jungle, mosquitos only on the terrace. In the room with climate not a only ant, mosquito, cockroach or sonsiges.
For outside autan or mosquito spray is recommended. Conveniently located in the Tesco Lotus about 2 kilometer (40 Bath with small trains) away. read more

in the hotel arrived we were, as usual in Thailand, friendly and they pointed us the bungalow number 26 to. We had booked a deluxebungalow. With deluxe had this living quarters however nothing to do. It smelled of ammonia, the shower consisted of a shower head on the wall without any Separation, the bed was quite small, the door stuck. There is also a bungalow directly at the entrance to the hotel. Information: almost everyone locals and tourist drives moped accordingly is the sound setting. In short, in point 26 can be no 19 days vacation spend. After complaining at ... the front desk we had a grand deluxe bungalow offered extra charge cIRCA 140 euros for 19 days. He was then much better.
the breakfast consisted of 2 sorts toast, croissants, 3 varieties jams, Honey, Alternate fried eggs or scrambled eggs, Bacon, sausages, pasta, coffee and tea, 2 sorts of juice. After a week we frühstückstechnisch self-catering, which in Thailand not a problem is.

The location is great one reaches the center over stairs in a few -Minute walk. The stairs are not so badly however one should already good at foot. If you're looking for peace and quiet since you have been here also correct one hears only birds and nothing else. We had standard room the bathroom could be more spacious, the taps should once again Entkallt and the window and door are not so closely. Apart from that true everything was clean and very nice. The breakfast true okay it is something for everyone but nothing special. All the beautiful is ... the view of the sea and the for breakfast. The food in the restaurant we only used twice us very good however tasted. The pool is small but also from the beautiful view of the sea and lamai. We are at the beach always black Perl bar where you can make free use of the sun loungers used. In the hotel everyone was really super nice and everything is made with love. the hotel is a tropical oasis of peace in the hustle and bustle outside lamai. It is a little secluded and offers -at least for the deluxe apartments, the all enough of any streets away-a heavenly peace. The complex is dreamlike and with a lot of love designed, with so many Bric-a-brac, many patches and small ponds (Mosquitoes!-Don't forget autan!). Since the entire area as a tropical jungle laid out and partly very unevenly, is the complex not disabledor child-friendly.
our deluxe bungalow number 7 was not the newest furniture but very attractively furnished. Only problem it was not to ... be fastened at the end of bathroom door, so we however arranged. In the really nice staff you could but also, if we would have complained, because all be- as long as possible -always immediately met.
the Overflow-pool with integrated jacuzzi offers a terrific view of lamai. He is not huge, but it was enough, a little off on and be able to swim. When fully booked it could also with the beach chairs tight to be. Since we spent the days at the beach stayed, that did not disturb us. The way to the beach you have to take a steep, uneven stairs and takes about 5 minutes.
the beach is however only moderately clean and the ocean right cloudy. Several days we couldn't swim, it wavy was. At the leftover days was that not a problem.
the breakfast buffet was very rich, the warm meals varied and everything was constant by the really nice staff refilled. At our only rainy day we have in the restaurant dinner eaten, also very delicious, however a bit small.
Lamai is like all tourist cities in Thailand and hectic and the constant Angequatsche by vendors and restaurant and bar owner we are partly went to the spirit. If you like the hustle and bustle, but fully at its expense-all possible bars, restaurants we spent our evenings etc. at the beach - dreamlike, great food, peace, Feet in the sand, followed by walk on the beach.
all in all we have a unforgettable and dreamlike vacation spent and would recommend this hotel again at any time book. read more
