The four star hotel Marko in Velden am Wöthersee is for families and also for Geschätfsreisen a superb choice. Immediately after arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff and you get the room shown in detail. The restaurant has a very large and very good selection of Carinthian-, Austria impressive and international food and drinks. Conclusion: why this hotel won't get the fifth star. Would he deserves. read more

Five days, and we definitely appreciated in five days extended. The two kilometer to the promenade in Velden with E-bike's very close to create; the return up the hill with motor support but also. E-bike's can be hired from the hotel!
The normal double room was big enough and well equipped but the move in one of the new ones In the third floor suites had it in itself: very large, modern decor, as well as a magnificent view on the karawanken mountains have exceeded all our expectations.
The same applies to the dinner in the form of half board. ... All food, especially the delicious Carinthia specialties (the grandma cooks!), could from the rotating restaurant in each case without extra charge (17 €half board supplement) to be selected.
A fast and friendly service added the successful stay. read more

in this hotel we felt comfortable. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The room always clean, and the food was plentiful available. Opposite from the hotel there is a small parking for the car. We would anytime again this hotel choose. read more

It was the third year for dance week and we will again be in 2011. The restaurant's cleanliness level is excellent (you can half board for lunch and dinner (!) split). The staff is always there, very flexible and helpful. The rooms are nice, the super suites, the view awesome. The price performance ratio ideal. Also the somewhat loud church bells can hear the latest on the third morning not more. We can recommend this hotel most warmly recommend!

This hotel exceeded our expectations. We were with a group of friends and had all super appointed and clean rooms with view to wörtersee.
for those Cook should you request one star, so good was the food.
In the hotel there is a great wellness area. Equipped the pool was very clean and well situated.
The surrounding countryside is ideal for walks or swimming in the sea.
Short and sweet tight a successful holiday and in any case recommendable. read more

We felt very comfortable in the hotel Marko. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great price performance ratio; Wellness area and fitness room very attractive and well equipped. Pool landscape was very well maintained. We had half board booked every night and dine a la carte. We had a couple of very nice days.
