Very nice hotel in the beautiful lagoon! The staff was always friendly and hard-working an a nice vacation to prepare. The english of the staff was good to very good. Very good food in the restaurants. Outside the hotel you can also good and cheap eat. Excursions with laguna tours are a bit more expensive, but recommended (no mass processing).

We were from 8a 21 january 2013 in angsana to guest. In the first week we were from the beach from three days also treated to music as the friday the 2. week. We have just returned and had further 5 days another hotel the same category in Khao Lak then to the comparison.
It was just simply great! Everything new, room was ( except the bathroom - only 1 washbasin with 3 persons gives deduction.) huge and chic!
Great, newly renovated facilities, extremely spacious everything so that everyone if he likes the right place and peace finds. The new chill-out area ( xana ) is also great, it was probably already Heidi with the topmodels entrance, nevertheless the hotel is relaxed and not fake, everything casual, what ... clothes regards.
Breakfast buffet we had included - that was a beautiful experience, everything you would also until 11:00, good Cappuccino, great service etc. Only it is loud in the room-you should prefer nice and idyllic simply on the terrace to sit and the lagoon to enjoy-)

The Hotel will be closed end of June and the renovations have already started.
The membership with Starwood/Sheraton is cancelled, the reopening under new name is planned for December and the OWNER IS THE SAME!
Talks to the staff (in Thai) proved that many staff-employees where given notice and the results where a lack of motivation. Due to these conditions it’s impossible to maintain higher earlier standards.
It can not be true that an owner is so and that he absolutely does not care about the ... welfare of his guests (complaints were received several times and ignored).

We spent twelve gorgeous, beautiful days. Had we a Iceland Villa, the offered a very good standard large room, great views from the two balconies, three TVs with a video. When booking a villa is available for breakfast and use of Puccini a sort of 'happy hour' from 17 to 18 hours a day. At breakfast the possibility to order a la carte, with cocktails and snacks in the afternoon changing juices, free of charge. The area was not fully booked, beach chairs at the pool or on the beach were always available. All staff very friendly and helpful.
The ... restaurants in the area, us were to expensive-we have used each evening a restaurant at the beach. These offer very good quality, reasonable prices-in addition to the luxury of a meal at sunset with your feet in the sand!
At the beach also a lot of suppliers of taxis on the island or trips. With the taxis can be organised tours, the drivers waited on and show highlights.
