The Hilton Plaza Wien is a good hotel and also 4 star. The hotel lies at very good traffic conditions. Outstanding location in perfect close to most attractions in Wien. The service was pretty good and the room is large. The hotel lies at very good on traffic, both by car. The breakfast is ok more for star hotel. Than Hilton hhonors gold members, at check-in and access to the executive lounge was not as in a 5 star hotel but maybe i was just unlucky! read more

We had booked a suite, beautifully largely, good room layout, with children recommendable. But: unfortunately the corner suites, all very noisy, as it is on a major intersection beach chairs.
Staff really makes an effort.
Fitness room is small and old.
Breakfast is only mediocre.
Small lounge on the 10. floor, would have have breakfast there should, but it was crowded. read more

A very nice hotel with a small spa area (gym, sauna, jacuzzi), great buffet breakfast and excellent front desk service perfect location on Schottenring (stop Schottentor directly next to the hotel). Ideal for short breaks, in the downtown field easily reachable on foot. Highly recommended, gladly again! read more

After several stays in different vienna hotels (also the Wien Hilton on Stadtpark) i was this time for a few days in this house on Schottenring guests. The location i thought it was great-very much closer to the nicest streets of the city (Herrengasse), where wonderful palais and the hofburg imperial palace to be seen there was. On the way there were some very smart shops. On this side of the city center, it was actually a lot more comfortable, especially also there not only tourists the area flooding. From the Schottentor next door, the metro and the tram around ... the ring, as well as directly to grinzing.
The rather small hotel i found very comfortable. Yes - it's not the newest and the furnishing already some years old. However therefor one is through an ambiance like in an english club made up for that. It was a real it started in the cosy lobby-which at christmas wonderfully opulent was decorated. The fahrstühl with lots of brass and wood-in addition to thick carpets in the hallways. Everywhere there were corners with small artworks. Friendly and competent staff at all places.
The rooms are unusually large and comfortably furnished. The small sofa turned out to be somewhat convenient which i in the last few years in a hotel i can test. Also the bed is very comfortable and with good pillows (2 per person) equipped. In the corridor there are 2 big closets-in new hotel not often seen. Also the bathroom is rather bigger than average. The toilet with bidet separated and the bathtub with a shower, in addition 2 sink. All in marble instead of the current billiganstrichwände. Oh yes the tv-correct-which is really old. However therefor there was a radio inclusive iPod station separately and who looks in Wien already more than the news in the room?
The lounge is rather small-but comfortable and with a terrace. The selection of drinks was good and in the evening was the wine also snacks enough. The breakfast was as in all lounges of Hilton - with better cheese than usual. To that lots of fresh fruits of pineapple and melon and fruit salad. Many rolls, cold cuts and rauchlachs, freshly squeezed orange juice, scrambled eggs and cereals as a large selection. What more could you want. Internet access for guests the lounge at a terminal free of charge. As the lounge while 10 minutes was full was the guests the breakfast on the ground floor free offers.
The pool was for this hotel, that here because of the number of rooms not so much bustle as in the Hilton on Stadtpark prevails. No, here was measured coming and going-and the doormen helped always gladly with the luggage. In the remaining the staff were very friendly and courteous. Also in the evening drink in the wet i was quickly and with young people friendliness-really comfortable.
The 5 stars were here (as is the case in most hotels) not because of the top modern rooms and design sink in the bathroom-but for great service, for a well-functioning hotel with extensive services. Some reviews i can simply and simply not understand - no i cannot.
For me definitely again a good place where i am very comfort. The next time a penthouse apartment with a terrace. read more

Good Hilton Hotel in the centre of vienna. In 5-10 minutes right in the old town from Wien. Wireless internet cost extra, as well as breakfast (30, -) what we did without. Good and favorable frühstückmöglichkeiten nearby and also free wi-fi available everywhere.
Room was large and clean. However the hotel has its best times already behind itself. The price probably by the name justified, than by the building itself.
Staff was kind. On request there was a 2. pillow, they were brought.
For a short city break is the location really great. Except for visiting the Sissi-castle and the ... drive to the flughafenbrauchten we do not public transportation.
Also various christmas fairs were within walking distance. read more

The hotel is clean and well situated - the tram is 50 meters away from the hotel and, that you within a few minutes the legendary sachertorte reach can.
Our spacious room was to the street and yet very quiet. A fruit basket with ' nanner' -waffles waiting for us also. The staff were very friendly. read more

We spent a long weekend in the Hilton vienna Plaza. It's a nice environment, classic furnishing. Water kettle in the room, nice spa area. Friendly staff, especially the concierge would heldpful in advicing on cultural events.
The hotel is round about 10 to 12 minutes from the stephen's cathedral (by foot). Nice old stockmarket building just in front of you. Taking the tram to the hofburg takes only 3 stations (10 minutes). read more

We have seen some days there and came in a executive room. This was very spacious and was in direct proximity of the lounge.
The breakfast left nothing to be desired, it was really great and varied.
Unfortunately the lounge at night very loud cleaned, what really incomprehensible. The spa is rather very small and should be renewed.
All together however a very relaxing and good stay there. read more

We had a corner suite and they can, as well as the hotel altogether only recommend. The breakfast standard is, therefore nothing special. The executive lounge is much too small for the number of the guests and the breakfast restaurant in large rush also bigger and is also a little thin. A good city hotel in best location with International audience middle Ages. The hotel is clean, has 6 elevators, a helpful Concierge and nice staff, it is in the sixth floor a small sauna with jacuzzi available and a small but pleasant executive lounge on the tenth floor.

the room is very large with beautiful Marble bathroom, toilet extra. Safety deposit box is free of charge. For the breakfast I would choose this hotel again. Massive selection (Salmon, trout fillet, sparkling wine, all possible eggs, sausage, ham, cheese, juices, Vienna flummeries). The hotel is very elegant, the bar was very appealing. All staff austrian hospitality show, are extremely competent, speedy and accommodating. Underground station direct next to the hotel. Garage parking is unfortunately expensive, €32, - per day. But there are also more favorable alternatives. read more

We were going to spend one week of our honey moon in Vienne, so tried choosing one of the best hotels. This hotel was advertized as luxury 5*, but indeed it was something between 4* and 5*, though prices are about 150-200 Euro for standart room. Location is the greatest thing about this hotel. All sights are in 15 mintes' walk from the hotel. Breakfast is also good, but very ordinary. Staff was really friendly! read more

The hotel is clearly in the years come and the facilities has their best days behind itself.
The room is really the cleaning sloppy, for example, were the mirror as long as you were not made the almost blindly!
Dishes from the day before were not cleared, toilet was used and dirty, carpet stained, loose handles the cupboards, doors were stuck or could not close, air conditioning not working.
The staff at check-in was but really tried hard and three us has given a new room (also if it basically nothing has used)
The managers in the restaurant before a ... packed their employees by customers (really embarrassing and leadership technically a six)
Dear director Hilton, get your managers in control and you see your room to.
