We were originally for two nights in the sweet waters tented camp booked, as the ol Pejeta pants to known Serena-chain belongs. We got an upgrade to the ol Pejeta house and I can only say, that it really is a great thing was. It felt a bit earlier feudal Times Adnan Kashoggis back and you could imagine a little, which parties were taking place here at that time. It was a perfectly other, but very interesting experience. The ol Pejeta pants is in the middle the ol Pejeta Conservancy and offers with a free view great view on Mt. ... Kenya. there are all in all only 6 rooms, which are in the main building and 4 2 in buffalo cottage are. the entire area, except the earlier tennis court- in very good condition. we had full board, whereas the breakfast partly as a buffet and à la carte and lunch and dinner as menu with several courses and the selection was offered. the guest structure was international- during our stay were still Dutch, as well as a group Americans there. The average age was between 35-70. Bewertung lesen

great-we were with a friendly couples and so we got the buffalo-cottage (former guest house). It has two separate bedroom with a private bathroom, a dressing room and private terrace, as well as a Common living room with a open fireplace and TV with satellite channels (for those who need it). in the bedroom there is a large comfortable bed, as well as a couch. There are sufficient Plugs available, 24 hour electricity was almost. there is a free safe, as well as a kettle for tea or coffee. But when desired one gets also brought (Butler service). the rooms are very well maintained.

perfect - the food was great. Both the selection, as well as both the quality and taste. As already mentioned, there was for breakfast a small but extensive buffet sparkling wine-the obligatory glass, as well as several warm dishes à la carte. The lunch and dinner as a multi-course menu with a great variety. the cuisine is international, but tasted very good and there was partly even Kenya niche dishes. cleanliness and hygiene-there was plenty of it absolutely nothing to worry about. the atmosphere was great-the food was either in the small dining room or outside on the beautiful terrace. The prices we thought it was very pleasant. it is in that sense, no bar but you get the drinks -no matter where you are. we gave tips to the end-it is only a few staff -given the small number of guests but is more than enough.

No doubt-class. Serena stands for quality and it shows especially clearly. Us each desire was read off from the eyes, but the staff were never intrusive. the foreign languages skills limited to English and French, but that is enough also. there is a convenient and very good Laundry service. the cleaning of the rooms and it worked fine was perfect, if you came back from the game drive and the fire in the lodernde fireplace expected. for children the ol Pejeta pants not really. Here offers the sweet waters tented camp from many reasons more on. You can use all facilities of the sweet waters tented camps, as long as you want. complaints -we had not a single.

There are both in main building, as well as in buffalo cottage a comfortable fireplace. furthermore two pools (both were very cool) for refreshment and sufficient beach chairs. A waterhole provides furthermore for a bit of entertainment, but this is not so good visited, such as sweet tented camps waters. furthermore see varied game drives with the possibility of Chimpanzee Sanctuaries visit, as well as of Baraka, or small hike the hippo pool sufficient Employment.

The ol Pejeta pants is situated in the heart of the private reserve-from the gate about 30 minutes. options for shopping it is in Nanynuki sufficient ( exactly to get) and especially the souvenir shop in the sweet waters tented camp you can most warmly highly recommend. for us a more ideal stopover on the way to lake Nakuru the Samburu.
