    I had booked a standard room. This was on the 4. floor. Such a tiny room i had never. It was about 6 square meters small. The bathroom was even smaller. A korpulenter or large guest would in this room certain problems. The interior was old and partly worn (cigarette burns in the floor coating in the bathroom, shower curtain). The when booking described 'up to date furnishings' i could not find. For this reason i found the price from 72 €covered. I do, nevertheless, have a good night's sleep, since the room really very quiet was. I would never stay in a standard room. You should on the homepage better make clear, which one for 72 €get!

    The breakfast buffet was for 5 €terrific! There is lots of small delights, like for instance waffles, chocolate, jams, and even fresh fruits, the in spite of the season excellent tasted. Breakfast is really recommendable!

    In the immediate area you find numerous restaurants and pubs. To the train station it is a few minutes' walk away, there are also S-Bahn and subways from. In a few minutes you are on foot in the ladenmeile. Because the hotel in a side street is, it is - especially at night - very quiet.

We stayed in a superior -room to the side of the road. Superior differs only opposite the other rooms, these are renovated. Our bathroom was very small, and without heating! Apart from that are the lighting conditions in the room very bad, so not enough lights! Against for this hotel-class fabulous breakfast. Very versatile! read more

The hotel is located in a small one-way street almost directly next to the train station, and therefore very central. From the outside appeared to us the building very plain. The cleanliness was absolutely alright. The double room with extra bed, which we had booked, was a disappointment. Even as pure double room i would have as a small chamber means. The bathroom we have with a bathroom unit in a major rv compared. It was clean and neat but nevertheless a small smelly room. For 2 people not contemporary. Over the guest structure i can hardly something since we ... only one night were there. Wi-fi, according to my smartphone comfortable but we were not advised of this fact.     To the room i was at the beginning of already described. Room number 2 is also for 2 persons, in my opinion, much too small. I would 10-maximum 12 square meter and bathroom will appreciate. It was clean and tidy, there is no doubt. But also otherwise it was really nothing, what a to a return visit would act. Hardly any storage space. The 'cabinet' from lack of space only with a curtain covered. A small smelly bathroom as on a ship (we were on Nile-ships and can compare) or a larger caravan. The view was in a somewhat scruffy/un-maintained landscape courtyard. Balcony, coffee maker, minibar, telephone... None. A mini tv was there. Sorry, but what the domspitzen we have ordered was extremely weak. Because of the existing cleanliness there was a sun top.

    There are only breakfast, what you can be. From previous visitors are exactly the very exuberant review. The has a or even the rash to this hotel given. We were after the enormous emerged but disappointed. The buffet hall is very small. Begin pappige rolls, which never all there. I have at least the 2. + 3. course not more the search found. Very much is offered, without question. But all in 1 portion glasses. And there is only one. Do you use the meat salad, it will be gone. So fast nobody can improve and it also happens obviously not. Positive freshly brewed coffee and freshly prepared eggs. But also for the eggs is a portion of the end. One is not any longer asked and makes it then also not. Annoying was also, that you clearly (also from my own experience) noticed, that many of the ingredients (meatballs, meat salad, salami, cucumbers, small sausage...) From the discounter with the big 'a' in the name came. As i would expect in a hotel something else. Also only, because we also already been clearly had seen differently. Because of the more than standard i give it a sonnenr more. Especially for us it was not.

    We were just one night here. That's why it is difficult to the service really wahreitsgemäß rating. When we on the day of departure our only moderate opinion advised actions, looked we in quite speechless faces. Friendly to us all. There are nothing to complain about. The room was clean, also there full marks. We had a parking lot option (~10 €). The lag near the house was but never locked or guarded. We got was always a key, but the gate was always open. That was little trust-arousing.

Standard room is its price from 85,- Euro not in the slightest value, (still the room only 10,00 Euro cheaper than the superior room is the qualitative difference so extremely, that the 10,00 Euro really laughable appear. Bathroom in the standard room without windows about 2 square meters large with shower curtain, wallpaper with holes and black stains from the smoke, carpet with large stains and solves also, furniture worn, absolutely no flavor, in the room it was also very cold-the great breakfast the next morning could also not much make up. Really a shame, because the ... pictures of are the superior rooms really nice. The whole has thus a good reason why hardly any pictures of the standard rooms on the internet to find. A huge disappointment! read more

    Very beautiful room and also lovingly, with an eye to detail. My only point of criticism are the absolutely ugly hotelzimmertüren, the below a gap left. Thus was our room very badly soundproofed. But the decor and the bathroom was a true gem. We have in this hotel 2 superior room booked.

    The breakfast was one of the best, the i in a hotel of this size had. Here is the guest in the fore. Fresh, perfect product, very wide choice, although nothing special large buffet. However the service is excellent and what i especially good because of our typical ' throwaway society ' pleased. Always only the possibility, small portions to get. Everything is always in small bowls, so that not at all much food be thrown away can. No scrambled eggs from large tubs, but individually for the guest prepared. Also no thermos full of coffee on the table, but individually refilled. It was also always on the wishes asked and dishes were quickly cleared away. Perfect service

    One noticed immediately when entering this hotel, that no large hotel chain behind it, but to every guest individually and very accommodating react. We have immediately a city plan gotten and could our bags at the front desk when you leave, as our rooms still not ready. The luggages we found then later to our rooms and had to nothing at all more care. Thank you, i just write.

From an old city hotel was with much attention to detail a little gem in the middle of Cologne. Only the bathroom in the superior room is old, the shower with wechselbatterie and high entrance. But it warm, kind atmosphere in the hotel more than made up for it. read more

The hotel dome steeples thrilled by booking until the departure! The employees are very friendly and are willing to help! Our room ( a normal double room with extra bed) for us was of course a bit small, however for one night perfectly ok (our dog was also still with). For the return trip we got the tip, that a triple room would give. Since we however booked over hrs had, you get ' only ' a double room with extra bed, but for the next time we know now-) for two people is the size but really ok. ... The furnishing was very to our taste. To the greetings there was a little cakes in the room and with 'only' three stars, really great! The bathroom is small and simple, I can't other letter. For this but very clean! There was shampoo and shower gel, the hair dryer I just on the way there offered and could take it to the room. We slept ( from the front) very good, but with an open window you have a bit noise be prepared, as the main station quasi around the corner is. But has the advantage, that one in the middle and you can without a car into the city walking! More central it does not go. Please definitely a parking space for the car reserve. ( in the surroundings there are but also an affordable parking garage) But now the best! The breakfast! I myself in the (upscale) hotellerie learned, but with such a kind and varied breakfast I haven't hotel, also in a five star hotel, still not seen! I wish I could have everything photographed, but there were unfortunately already lots of guests there. Alone for breakfast I would go back the hotel dome steeples book! There was amongst others baked bananas, blätterteigkuchen, fresh pineapple, met, tomato mozzarella, jello, knoppers, small meatballs, brownies and so on and so on we have stayed at the savoy 'right around the corner' booked, but this hotel I would prefer! Oh sunday. Wifi is also free! We would gladly come again;-) read more

Hotel domspitzen small (only approximately 30 rooms) but very fine hotel the for only stars a great breakfast has. Since may many 4 stars hotels could learn a lot. The location directly next to cologne main station has in the hotel all benefits but also all disadvantages such a location. Rooms are individually furnished with me a mixture of baroque and orient. (see pictures) The bathroom lacked on the first day a bit of cleanliness (stains and hair) read more

This hotel convinced by extreme friendliness and a amazing service. The rooms are, due to the infrastructure, rather small and are not a not renovated. Everything is very clean.     That is the only fault: the rooms are very small and thus served little places to put things. Nevertheless they are very clean. Partly the nassbereiche be renovated. The furnishing is normal. A hair dryer and a mirror you are looking for however in vain.

    Actually there was no gastronomy but breakfast is brilliant. Varied ( a daily highlight, like for instance weisswurst or omelet) and in all details very lovingly arranged. Everything your heart desires: salmon, fish, meatballs, small treats, cakes. You can't put into words, what this small hotel morning aufbietet.

Every room is different and with very much taste furnished. From the front desk, the Triple room to the staff and breakfast one felt in very good hands. The breakfast was very a lot of variation and prepared with a lot of care, so for example small cakes, jams in Weckgläsern, Waffelherzen, freshly scrambled eggs at each individual guest, if desired, and so on towels are changed every day, although we only a couple days were there. The hotel we can only recommend it to anyone, the a something else hotel to enjoy, without on the usual standard to do. read more

Very friendly staff, nice front desk, original equipped room, unfortunately without Domspitzenblick. You felt with his questions and wishes in very good hands. The view was on the backyard, but that didn't bother us, we wanted a clean and friendly accommodation for sleeping and breakfast and we had. Merely on the day of arrival I had 2 long dark hair in bed. Room and bathroom are very small, is such a citynahen hotel not differently to make. In the shower I would not come-entrance too narrow and the water temperature was badly be regulated. Bed very soft, the roles under ... the bathroom door are quite noisy and the door left itself only by concluir close. Nevertheless we would definitely stay here again! read more

Really nice hotel with netterem staff. The location is 1-A! We really liked it very much. Everything very personally - even at breakfast! Unfortunately is the bathroom very small. These is however also the only thing, that disturbed us somewhat. Apart from that we would gladly go again:-) read more

Very good city hotel in the middle in the heart of Köln directly on the main station and Duomo The old town just a few strides away. The rooms very clean actually as the whole hotel. From the outside looks the hotel in of the kids lateral road little Plain. The interior furnishing tastefully, the service very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is simply great, everything was fresh and with heart and love prepared and Quite everything your heart desires. We can only recommend this hotel and are coming again. read more

A hotel with charm and very friendly staff. Breakfast leaves nothing to the imagination. The only thing negative was the high shower entrance. A handrail and a rutschfester underground would have been helpful there. read more

Great hotel, excellent breakfast ditekt at the city center. Price was also OK. We were although it is only a weekend since, and had only breakfast but it was good enough because we were in the town eat. Breakfast sow was more delicious a lot was offered. The hotel was just great. We were very satisfied. read more
