It is a nicely kept hotel in typical balinese style. At the lobby and the restaurant is' open pile dwellings '.
The hotel has standard rooms, suites, bungalows with a garden- and lake view. Everything embedded in a beautiful garden area. The complex is not too big, you can almost from easy going atmosphere speak.
The hotel has - like the majority of hotels in candi dasa-no beach it is a rugged küstanabschnitt. On the whole coastline is located in front of the 'beach' several groins made of concrete. On google earth quite nice to see.
Made up for it ... the hotel with a beautiful pool area.
Wifi is inclusive and with a speed of 1500 kbps quite fast. For the daily check your mail more than enough. read more

For the erlebnissurlaub the hotel is great!
Candidasa is a very good, authentic base for many highlights Bali. Especially, because you are the Bali without large tourism experience. Nearby the locals.
Rama is a very nice hotel with a beautiful garden. The 'normal' rooms are large and have a good facilities (a bit dark). There is free private 'huts' which one to rent can-they are terrific!
The location is also very authentic.
One lives between 2 farmers and get Bali- live. However burn farmers in the early morning their garbage. If you ... then the air conditioning on is the smoke in the room.
Directly in front of the hotel are always private driver, a economically to different destinations bring. Generally candidasa here a very good starting point.
Restaurants there are plenty of around the hotel. Definitely not half board book! In the small restaurants one gets balinese kitchen for great prices!
You want to however pure beach vacation make then i can the rama unfortunately not recommend. The hotel is located above from the beach. That means one comes from the hotel area not at all at the sea, but must around skirt. There you'll find a mini -beach section. This is clean and beautiful but it is not enough if you really beach vacation planned. This is sanur very recommendable.
The staff rama is really super nice. Since there is no criticism. Also the breakfast: very delicious and good quality. Dinner we had 2 times buffet. That was good but expensive and not comparable with small restaurants outside.

Hotel:
The hotel complex itself is quite small and quite in the area crushed. The standard rooms are in a rather remote wing, but a nice garden has. The bungalows are near the pool. Like everywhere in Candi DASA there were only a concrete wall to the sea, but spectacular breakers waves at high tide. There is a mini artificial beach, the pool is absolutely okay. The restaurant is a little carelessly and also the selection of the food and cleanliness could not 100% satisfied, especially the ant trails were annoying. The staff were very friendly, but not nearly as ... accommodating, as we the other hotels in Bali experienced.
Location.
The hotel lies at the edge of town, therefore a bit off the beaten path and it's a good 15 minutes to the city center to the restaurants. The way there is mostly without path and not optimal lit, so matter of taste. Lots of restaurants but offer free pick-up service, you just have to call in advance. Is however on the first evening difficult, if you are not familiar with.
Room:
Were OK, however also not nearly all, what we in comparable hotels in Bali seen. Everything is a little carelessly, the bathroom really cramped. The safe has completely missing ( hole in the closet).
In short: the hotel is actually okay, I recommend it only therefore not further, because it in the area the same price many better alternative returns. read more

Great hotel with attentive staff, a great spa area and very good food in the restaurant of the hotel ( at reasonable prices!). Everything was very clean! Also nice, if you in the rooms kettle and tea coffee has. I can only say good things. We would return to this hotel again! read more

We had the luck a suite to occupy, where the stay just for fun.
Starting in the living room, with huge led -tv and great seating area, with a kitchen that leaves nothing to the imagination and the bedroom with a great big Boxspringbett and huge led -tv(114 centimeter). The highlight is the bathroom with all the refinements.
The staff is always very friendly and accommodating, cleaning and daily change the towels were always perfectly.
We were the seventh time on Bali, but the last vacation have all the Krone on, and we are already looking forward to our next ... holiday on Bali in 2013. read more

We were on a guided tour for one day in this hotel. In our room ( main building EC) there was nothing to complain about. The walk to the restaurant ( right on the beach) is approximately 4 minutes, on the way was unfortunately a major construction site. The beach you could easily go snorkeling, many colorful corals and colorful fish. We were able to get even a hire snorkling gear (free of charge), but we had our own gear if for everyone. Evenings there was the buffet background music. The food is very delicious. For one night we can ... certainly recomend the hotel, but for a longer stay served on the duration may be a bit boring ( assumption). read more

The standard rooms are rather dated and dark decor, pool is great, you can bathe not due to strong currents. In the restaurant it was very noisy, and noisy at night. But for one night it was nice and clean. read more

Friendly welcome in the new hotel lobby. Hotel area with 3 story buildings á room per floor. Large, very well-tended garden area. Very nice pool with ocean view. Unfortunately there is little rough lake is due to go swimming in the sea. The hotel's restaurant seemed a bit too expensive, for balinesiche standards. However there is the possibility for ten TRP breakfast included with the taxi to Candi Dasa. As often in Bali there were problems with moisture, in the living/bedroom as well as in the bathroom. read more

The hotel to arrive from the ocean, would be breathtaking. About the man-made cliffs lies the hotel with a nice pool and modern pool furniture. The power of the sea is safe away. Through the garden-Jungle if you follow the path to the bungalows. This as a break to the pool area are: rather old furnishings, a bit dingy, partly amateur repaired. We used this hotel as a place to stay our trip ( Bali completely, Dertour ( standard). Major construction right next to the Rama, knock and sawing you could hear at night and go right back in the early from seven. Room (no bungalow, standard) very dark, worn. Constant toilet smell Klosteingeruch respectively. TV and safe. Air conditioning was quiet. Bathroom also worn, toilet wobbled in order to use Grounds are nice, the architecture of the hotels and restaurants. Swimming only in the medium sized pool. Food was sufficient, but nothing special, less international cuisine especially at breakfast. Possibility to ... fresh omelets/eggs in all variations: Very delicious! The hotel I could mostly only for tours for a night, if you can't be better. read more

Very desolate outside stair case and narrow roads is reached the hotel area, clean tidy bungalow with a small terrace set amidst lush greenery, splash is restricted nice pool area with pool chairs, no beach! Restaurant ok! read more

We stayed one night on our trip in Rama candidasa. We were placed in the main building. The room was big enough and clean. The bathroom would me for a longer period too small, but ok for one night The bungalows were all toward the sea in a tropical garden ( very well maintained). The bungalow rooms only have seen in the brochure, fantastically beautiful. Nice pool with attractive lounge chairs. The hotel is located on a hillside, so there is no direct beach access. The restaurant was an ocean view and very nice. We could choose Al a la ... carte or buffet. The buffet was delicious and very generous cost about 8 euros. The breakfast was amazing, it was delicious dark bread and freshly baked The grain bread rolls. Conclusion: great hotel for a round trip. For a longer period boring, because the location is a little out of the way. read more
