For a three star hotel was the furnishing very good: bathtub, hair dryer, shower and shampoo, hand soap, Kleenex, safe.
A good breakfast buffet 4-course-and a dinner completed the offer. Only the positive carpet in the very large room didn't bother us, because it was not hygienic. read more

We would expect more for the price. Sauna was despite notification did not work, the Jacuzzi was broken.

While looking for a skiing holiday convenient Hotel. Very central location. The breakfast was good, there was croissants, Weggli and various sorts of bread, cereal, different sorts of fruit juices, yogurt and fruit. The dinner adequate with a starter, salad, main course and dessert. For the children there was an extra children's menu. The rooms are clean with two beds rather small added. The tv is very small but satellite reception. The bathroom was okay and clean. We would stay here again. read more

In this hotel the 80er years are no.. maintenance The bathroom has a completely obsolete (no tiles in the bathtub, linoleum) and was completely yellowed. The room was spartan furnished. The furnishings are worn. Because the Hotel is located at the main street, it was very loud. Unfortunately, you can sleep with open windows. The hallways of the hotel were stuffy and the design of the 80 erjahre. The breakfast was the worst breakfast of our trip with six hotels in Switzerland. read more

My wife and I were very positive Claudia about the hotel. Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed, food was well balanced and varied (half-menu, three course), sauna open after a day of skiing, which we liked (sauna and Jacuzzi complimentary), the lobby of the hotel is very nice and welcoming, as well as the fireplace. The Hotel manager offered at the bar a bottle of wine, as unfortunately no space in the underground car park for our car was.HCLFHLWe will be back next year love to stay there again for a ski weekend! This hotel needs thorough renovation! I don't understand why a hotel has four stars, I think even three would be too much! A very small bathroom without a vent and no tourist brochures in the room are biggest disadvantage.HCLFHLService in the restaurant was helpful and very friendly but the food was terrible. on the Vdk-reisedienst we were from. 10,09.-13,09 in Alpine-Sherpa building. There was no possibility in the choice of food. Only 1 menu. The food was partly not. Breakfast was okay. The bathroom was in a sorry state. Toilet with about 6 centimeter wide urine stone, simply disgusting. Holder on the wall in the bathtub was loose. At the touch with the handle of the hand. After complaining about the first day was nothing done. When we left, everything was still Sunday under the hotel is disco and therefore, we had the nights of Freiteg Saturday until about ... 3-4 o'clock and sleep. This hotel I would not recommend, unless you are young and go to the disco and partying. But the hotel was lacking in the cleanliness, especially in the bathroom. And, above all, the bathtub, sink, everything was ancient. Renovation recommended. read more

We are a young couple and wanted a quiet weekend with hiking etc. in Meiringen. The first impression of the hotel lobby was actually pretty good, but of all other way.HCLFHLFrom the beautiful weekend was unfortunately nothing, since we were there in the middle of the night by two o'clock relentlessly noisy screaming from wummernden and from the disco in the basement were woken up. It was quite gross, because we had our windows and actually have a good night's sleep. In front of the hotel for the teenagers around 50-100 drunk people, who came back from the disco. ... This went on till about four o'clock in the morning so, until we called the police. So is there now for weeks.HCLFHLRooms:HCLFHLNo mini bar in the room, a very small dark bathroom with plastic floor without air vent. The cleanliness of the restaurant to go out of the water to the shower, you held in the hand-renovation needy! There was no tourist information in the room, no paper and nothing to write. The carpets are worn and old. The bed was okay, but it was extremely small pillows. The hotel has the charm of an old and musty hallways office. You know, that this hotel ovations needy and urgent race as a hotel designed.HCLFHLI have no idea how this is four stars to justify. 190-CHF are simply too many. two star less would be more appropriate.
