A perfect hotel we have not ever experienced! It suited from the beginning to the back all! Despite the size of the hotel, you had the impression one is something special, the staff was very accommodating and willing to help! read more

An excellent hotel which is worth of its price. One night in the swim-out room and then on trip through Yucatan. The surplus your suitcase stayed in the hotel. Again there and in a room with seaview and kingseits bed checked in. Bags without any problems to the room received. There no children in the hotel are, can each to his own the best relax. Mostly americans and canadians. Little europeans and no ru. Wether at the beach, by the pool or at the bar, always a quiet holiday atmosphere. Drinks only original! The best! A special thanks at Jose' ..., on special request the cocktail Yucatan mixed (recipe from the internet presented, and den haag). Excellent food and a superb ambience in the restaurants. All in all very recommendable! read more

Modern and nice hotel. The whole Areal and IE different restaurants are MT a lot of attention to detail decorated and the staff very friendly. During our stay ( May/ June) was the sea quite 'dirty', so that this bath possibility ( nearly) cannot have used and practically only in the pool were. Important information, which we the hotel described nowhere found : In the evening are only the à la carte restaurant open ( buffet in the morning and lunch). As dress code at the men long pants required. All together however a very good and recommendable hotel. read more

The hotel complex is not too large and after a day, you know where everything is. The complex insists on more buildings where the suites are. To any building has a private swimming pool with pool chairs and pool service. In the hotel are the lobby and a large bar, as well as a few shops with the main restaurant all in the main building (except for the seafood and Oceana). During its stay all restaurants freely used and that without prior notification. Simply go and one gets a table assigned. Guest structure is American and Canadian. At the time ... we were the only German in the hotel-which however not was bad. read more

    massive room with open bathroom- jacouzzi for 2 people in the bathroom and huge large shower... Large King bed, flat screen TV, large clothes closet, air conditioning, minibar daily filled, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and board available, dining corner and couch and large balcony with rattanmöbeln( simply great)... Condition is very new and well maintained

    Worl café :- breakfast and lunch in buffet form (nothing was missing) Mexican: brilliant atmosphere, great music and great food Asian: either à la carte or you reserved the chefstable -Flambé and Messershow offered and live cooking with complete 12 people at the table - was perfect and must early in the morning reserved will)-great Sushikarte and large à la carte selection Oceana: was at noon open for an à la carte meal, is located in the main pool and is simply great... Fresh salads, Sandwiches or pizza and seafood seafood :-next to Oceana, large Fischkarte and brilliant atmosphere Frenchman :-from foie gras to Thunatatar, beef, shrimp it wasn't missing anything Italian: great à la carte menu in 14 days even 2 times has changed... Great service and excellent kitchen mediterranean :- evenings in Worldcafe inside and not so nice from the atmosphere in the evening -just too big-carpaccio, sole, and great Beef on the map room service: absolutely delicious and always fresh, great show and oral recommendations on the phone we always tipped given; in the buffet restaurant per Meal 1a 2 dollars in the à la carte was between 5 and 10 Dollar (depending on service) by the pool and beach there were always waiters drinks or served fresh fruit have served (of course there was also from and to a dollar)

    TOP TOP TOP... absolutely friendly and helpful! These people have fun with their work and that you should honor... Service was always very fast and competent. German languages but not English fluently (menus are in English or Spanish)

    great discreet entertainment... Great animation team gave stündlcih games or sprtliche activities - participate was no pressure and you were also not hassled beach volleyball, miniature golf, tennis court, table tennis, pool. Mountain bike Tours, poker, Spanish lessons, dance classes, bar courses, Winetastings Internet was for 15 minutes daily free and then quite expensive... We didn't use, safe was free of charge, and handtüceh also free and enough since (the reserve also here the order of the day was) towels free beach chairs and can be changed

    Location: first you think you get to the end of the world... If the transfer from the large main street leaves, it goes on pretty holbrige streets by a dense vegetation and marsh the hotel... from the airport there were roughly 20 minutes until we at the hotel were. This was after long flight very advantageous. The hotel lies direct at the beach... The beach is really very well maintained and he needs to be... Daily it washes seaweeds and seaweed -which however already in the morning be eliminated... On Astrand are 2 large Seestege integrated on which one sea gulls and pelicans Watch... The entrance to the sea is very flat and you could go far into the sea reinlaufe ( bathing shoes recommendable nonetheless)

Secrets Silversands is the best hotel I ever saw. I am a travel agent and I vist between 50-100 every year. During 3 weeks in Mexico/Yukatan I saw about 15 hotels but i have spend 3 best days in Secrets Silversands. Everything is perfect: r Swiming Pool & beach 6* - you must see it Room 6* - huge room with jacuzzi for 2 persons. You can open the wall of the bathroom and you can enjoy beautifull sunrise drinking the chapmain. In apartamant you can have ever second jacuzzi on you terrace. Food 6* - Asian, Mexican, French, Italian ... and Mediterranean restaurants a'la carte in main building and Grill and Seafood bar in pool area. ALL OF THEM ARE GREAT!!! The cooking show in asian restaurant is superb. The food in asian, mexico and french restaurant is like in the best restaurant in shanghai, mexico city or paris. Drink's 6* - a range of alcohol is huge from 4 sorts of Absolut vodka, by more than 10 kinds of tequila (including one of best Jose Cuervo anejo), 3 kinds of Johnny Walker, Balantines, Chivas Regal and Martell Cognac. everything is perfect. Now I'm dreaming about visiting this paradise again. Maybe in May 2009? read more
