Grand Hotel Holiday Resort^{(4 stars)}

We had room 1023, which right above the pool was, with sea view - just perfect ☺ Our double room was for two people more than adequate and equipped with a double bed, balcony, tv, air conditioning, refrigerator, large closets, bath, telephone. Safe & wi-fi for a small fee. The room was cleaned properly every day. We were satisfied with our room and we were very comfortable. Only drawback: the connection of the overflow in the floor of the bathroom and the drain the bathtub weren't okay. The the bathtub expiring water came on the overflow in the middle the bathroom again... That was a very nice mess.

There was the main restaurant, an à-la-carte restaurant, a pizzeria (open from june-september) and different bars. In the restaurants very for cleanliness, order and quality one paid attention. The waiter had all the guests to your tables, you could always choose your own where one would like to sit (indoors and outdoors), which we very nice found. The food was always fresh, varied and very tasty and it was quickly refilled. Used plates were immediately from the staff cleared. It was always a great atmosphere with perfect food and very friendly staff. Also is very recommendable the Venus lobby bar, at which there are great cocktails. Prices can we unfortunately no information, since we booked all inclusive had.

All hotel staff are very friendly, accommodating and helpful, especially the waiters in the restaurants. From a crisis in Greece we were german received nothing, completely on the contrary - the service was just top and there was nothing to complain about. Foreign languages are a plus, but not a must - one can get along with german but in my opinion it didn't hurt, also with the english language to be familiar. We speak good english, from the 3. day we only english with the waiters spoke ☺ Our room was cleaned thoroughly every day, even the bed linen was constantly changed. Great! Additional services like for instance care of children or a doctor we didn't use.

The entertainers in the hotel were all nice and have daily at the main pool with great music and a variety of games for a good mood and were not intrusive. We were just sometimes a bit annoying if the people us around 2 to 3 time asked, whether we in something wanted to play-was however perhaps also because of the fact, that we simply never want to water polo, gymnastics or darts had ☺ In the evening there was in the theatre the different performances, from musical up comedy show everything was there. The entertainers these programmes all organized and performed. There was always lots to laugh about, there were great evenings. In the hotel complex there are 3 pools: the large main pool with entertainment, the pool and the children's swimming pool. In any we could defects, every pool was cleaned daily. There was also everywhere enough chairs and sunscreens, a reserve is so unnecessary and anyway not allowed. ;-) The fitness room we also visited once, all devices were in a good state.

The hotelanlagee is located on a hillside and set up like a small village. The hotel is very well-maintained and clean, everywhere there are beautiful flowers and plants to be seen. In the evening is everything great lit. The complex spread over several buildings. Because of the hillside is the way into the room for older people maybe a bit harder and for the handicapped only partly suitable (depending on the location of the room) but : there is the possibility, a chauffeur for free the complex drive to let. We had booked all inclusive, among the guests were mostly german, english and french, from the ages it was very mixed. The hotel i would always book it again, it is simply only beautiful!

The Grand Hotel is about 25 kilometer east from Heraklion airport and 2.5 kilometer from Chersonisos away. The hotel is about 300 meters away from the beach, but was this not so good-we did the beach in Stalis preferred you about minutes easy to reach on foot can. Bus stops are located just in front of the hotel, for little money you can on your own the island explore. Of course you could also a renting car rental. The excursions at the tour operators on site in the hotel by prior arrangement and be also booked (for example. Knossos, Agios Nikolaos...)

our room 526 was clean and in good condition. However was the connection the overflow in tiled floor in the bathroom and the drain the bathtub not reasonable. The bathtub expiring water came over the overflow in the middle the bathroom again... A beautiful mess one can only say.

There is a main restaurant, a à la carte restaurant and a snack bar. A lobby bar and several pool bars. The breakfast buffet was ok... However the diversity of the dinner left much to be desired. Frequent repetitions, tasted not particularly good and if you came later... The food was only lukewarm. In the morning there was for breakfast no containers for tischabfälle, this should be however in a four star hotel can expect Once during the stay konntenw we à la carte use. It was great, several courses and tasted just great. What still to notice it is... The prices for -alcohols drinks are really beautiful high. A bottle of greek red wine costs between and Euro depending on brand. There is all inclusive recommendable.

The service altogether in the hotel was great. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, both in the food area, as well as the front desk. The foreign language skills were sufficient, in order to inform itself. The cleaning of the rooms was fine and quick. However was something unpleasant. When we in the hotel arrived, we had an hour for our room wait, because it supposedly not finished yet was. A other hotel guest waited already 2 hours. He had wife and 2 small children. This is not okay. Which we highly overpriced found the safe price of 3 Euro per day. From the 2 lifts, was several days in a row, a broken and the other was not completely reasonable. The paper towels on the men's restroom before the main restaurant were not always on time refilled. And a toilet is simply too little for the public area.

Every day there was a entertainment program, what too many at the main pool Took place. Accordingly it was also noisy. If you however did not like, could at the smaller relaxation pool avoid. There was also a generous fun pool for children a little further up on the complex Every evening in a small open-air theater a hourly program instead, what the private entertainers or foreign artists decorated.

The hotel complex is very nice and tidy, approximately 300 rooms, distributed in nice bungalows, in terraces laid out. We booked half board. It were too many russians and English in the hotel, a few German and dutch. It we noticed, that every day evenings in a certain area of the outdoor area ( near laundry room) a lazy stench be expanded.

From the hotel you have a wonderful view on the sea. However leads right on the hotel a very lively highway past, which was a little noise causes. A private hotel beach there was not. You could however in 10 minutes a public beach his, the however was not exactly clean. Therefore, that we anyway 5 days by car on the way were, that was not so tragic. The rest of the time we were on the spacious pool spend. The area outside the hotel had up to 2 supermarkets and 2 Overpriced car rentals not lots to offer.

We were in the German block. ( furthermost away guesthouses only a steep street to reach were). The first where, which with warm water is rinsed. Apparently, the plumber cold and warm water swaps. Dark joints in the tiles. Ancient small small crt tv. Where there is the four-star standard?

Solid, simple, without variety. Some hotels with fewer stars had much better kitchen.

Mostly unfriendly staff, perhaps somewhat dependent on the herkunftswörterbuch guests. ( German didn't seem very welcome) of course but also very dedicated and friendly employees in the hotel, these were unfortunately clearly in the minority.

The room was great. Have a double room booked and a room for 4 persons received. Thus was our room from 4 beds, 2 air-conditioning devices, 2 led -tvs, a decked and a beautiful bathroom with plenty of space.

The buffet is more than enough and diverse. The drinks are always well chilled. There are 3 bars available, whereby the pool bar to the evening in a wine bar turns. The food is too many typical of the country, whereby something for every taste is. The prices were relatively no matter to us, since we 'all in' had not eighth had.

The staff are very friendly. We never had to wait for drinks wait and for the food is the staff very attentive. Many employees speak several languages.

The pools are all very clean and the loungers are good. However will of some guests the loungers already in the morning already reserved by towels. It is possible at all pool enough sun screens available and at all pool is a shower available. The entertainment seems to be good, but we didn't really comment. Preferred on quiet pool to relax.

The hotel is very clean. The complex spread out over several level. Even for the higher rooms a shuttle service is available available. We ale food' all inclusive ' and additional view of the sea and were very satisfied. The audience in this hotel is mixed.

The hotel is about 5-minute walk away from a small bay. Here must chairs and sunscreens at the beach be paid, as these from the earlier hotel come. In the next city one comes fast with a bus, which every 30 minutes goes.

The hotel and the garden as the paths always very clean no trash or cigarette butts or similar The only negative what we found was the long way to our bungalow who bad luck and at the top such a must for a good dinner or breakfast or if you come from the beach good 10 minutes to run and with a grade of at least 70% there is a shuttle service ( only 1 car for about 500 guests) but is often occupied and already on the way there one must already times a couple of minutes wait or at the front desk tell the one chic Nationality of the guests mostly russians average age about 35 years

The hotel rests on a hill is very nice we were able to our bugalu of our terrace on sea look very nice view Purchase and entertainment possibilities is about 5 minutes by bus to reach chersonissos on foot so 20 minutes

We had a room booked with a view of the sea, which we got and we liked a lot. The room was very spacious and the interior was in a good condition. Also the balcony we liked. Only as mentioned with the cleanliness there are drawbacks... On the tiled floor was already at our arrival even sand to see and also the hair on the floor and on the balcony were not great.

The food was ok.! For breakfast you have the possibility to to choose between greek and american, unfortunately there was a greek only from 7:00 until: o'clock ( German time 6:00 until: o'clock that is why we have this not taken into account) and so small drawbacks, since the americanische food was very greasy. Also during dinner we had a little variety wish... The selection of meat was in our opinion large only the side dishes were fries, fries, fries and noodles. We were always full and the food good but we would have liked it also typical greek food returns! The à la carte restaurant and the pizzeria are very recommendable a variety standard dinner to get. As well as the bars (2 piece) where around midday snacks can be ordered (since we booked half board we chose these 2 times taken into account and were positively surprised) About the cleaning in the restaurant or at the bars there was nothing to complain about.

The staff were very friendly and the communication pointed out no problems on. Drawbacks we give in cleaning of the rooms. Daily the towels were changed but with the cleaning the floor it was not so exactly taken (tufts of hair, stains... And not only from us!) Laundry service, doctor and child care was we didn't use it.

There are 3 pool' s a shallow pool with slides, a quiet pool and the biggest pool is the entertainment pool. Animation we didn't use but what we saw was as much effort and it was a lot of fun, this also applies to the evening entertainment. The pool' s were cleaned every evening and also the pool area was very clean and well cared for. At the sea are the chairs and screens for a fee (2 loungers 5,00 Euro and 1 umbrella 2,50 Euro). We found in general this beach not very appealing. It is a small bay, just not so comfortable (very cramped). If you like tennis want to play should know, the half board guests this extra pay must (1 hour= 15 Euro)

The hotel normally is in a very good condition and was kept clean every day. The staff are nice and willing to help.

The Grand hotel situated a bit higher and one has a great view ( especially with ocean view rooms). The distance to the beach you can on foot back, but the beach not particularly liked a lot and we too many at one of the three pool' s were. For strolling invites chersonissos a (you can to reach on foot about 25 minutes-then catch the first stores already at) there is however also a bus opposite the hotel ( duration about 5 minutes by bus, cost however also 3,20 Euro for 2 persons) To the airport to Heraklion it is not far-duration about 1 hour, since with us lots of hotels were driven to first (we found to be not bad). As we 2 days a car had rented, we could our excursion program himself and some of Kreta seen.

The rooms are comfortable large and in very good condition. The furnishings ( fridge, telephone, tv, big balcony, closet safe) recomm and I than average.

Also the quality, the offered food and drinks is excellent. To be honest: I have only very few greek restaurants in Germany met, the level this hotel reach. Furthermore the restaurant offers every day a very large choice of greek food, the constantly freshly prepared is. There were repeats hardly and the entire, massive buffet was from the first to the last minute extensivelly filled.

It would for the category ' service' and 'staff' this hotel a occasion of ten holiday check-suns. Because this hotel she would have earned. There are initially once the industrious maid service, the fast, thorough and unobtrusive about every room take care of it. Than the staff at reception: competent, uncomplicated and helpful. The restaurant staff: the bright crazy! Very friendly, very cordial, very accommodating! Simply exemplary. It is every desire immediately fulfilled and with a professional serenity the dining room a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere gives. Also extremely friendly and unique the staff the lobby-bar! The entertainment team: really great! Very welcoming, very friendly and with a murder -Elan and unobstrusively! For me personally the best animation team, I have ever experienced! In short: I have stayed in really lots of hotels the upper class in Greece, however the quality services and of the staff in this hotel remains unattained.

There are plenty of activities offered. This professional child care by the entertainment team. The pools are in perfect condition and very clean. Numerous, always well maintained possibilities to lie down are available. A very nice variety offers during the day the pool bar with its operating together team and the snack-bar that offers great value for money.

One introdution: such a hotel - I mean not only the building, but also the complete staff - is a real highlight for everyone Greece-tourist! The hotel is very large. But it was because of the in the following described construction not the appearance of an ordinary small hotel with, however rather the a very nice, small, kind world. The hotel has a grand main building, which on many floors the whole central contact points as the for example the two restaurants, the lobby-bar the front desk etc. Combines. Directly adjacent is the first very generous designed pool with very many possibilities to lie down and a very nice pool bar. The exercise area, as well as the side building with the very well maintained hotel rooms one reaches over several small, very nice laid out paths. If you don't on foot liked to go, the puts easily in one of the free shuttles and the few meters to the building chauffeurs. The guests of this hotel came during my stay mainly from Germany, England and Holland, but of course also other nationalities were represented, which is the charm each versus mind, I think. To cleanliness I can only say one thing: great! There was nothing, but also even nothing to complain about!

Smaller than in many türm. Five star hotels, not as luxurious, but for the couple hour, the generally in the room is, completely sufficiently.

Food was very diverse and the quality good to very good. Understand some knockers not, I have stayed in five star hotels in Dubai or on the Maldives, but it is at 4-star and they are in any case justified. To some rooms is there is a steeper hill, but we saw that as sporty activity and a shuttle bus is always ready, the one to the room goes.

Very friendly staff in all areas, no hecticness arise, contribute much to a lovely vacation with, also outside of the hotel everywhere without exception very friendly and helpful. The island a dream for all, the not only in the hotel pool to, we will definitely come back to Kreta. Many nicer than spanish islands.

Animation plentiful but never obtrusive. minifußballfeld really tiny, it was unfortunately, but you can wonderful to the beach jogging or tennis play, pool is also large enough for swimming. Wi-fi costs very much for vielnutzer, rather over wi-fi plus 500 minutes for 20 Euro order, is considerably cheaper.

Rooms okay, very clean, guests very tidy, half board is sufficient, since the all-inclusive offer on closer calculation no benefits offers, except you drink every day until: o'clock more than 10 beer or similar

No beach area, rather for excursions in the area, to the beach very far on foot, but for pool-tourist ideal, 3 pools 1 with animation, 1 relax -pool and 1 for kids with slides. The town with shops about 3 kilometer, beautiful hike or with the taxi ( before price negotiate, from 5a 15 Euro!)

In the many bars and restaurants offers good of high quality dishes With joke and charm serves. Also for cleanliness and hygiene very valued. A typical greek warm atmosphere in good value for money.

A very friendly staff with good fremnsdsprachenkenntnisse. The cleaning of the rooms worked very well, daily fresh towels and the doctor In the house.

The offer in and around the large pool is excellent. Wether internet, loungers, protection from the sun, water quality, cleanliness All together very good. Most warmly we want us to luca, lindsy and the team for The fantastic entertainment taking part in the sport and disco thank you.

A top hotel, spacious and clean rooms. We had the half board, breakfast and dinner to a really Rich buffet. The average age for September was mixed and natinonalitäten Many countries.
