Very nice hotel directly at the beach. The area is very nicely presented with flowers and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and always in a good mood. An excellent hotel, very personable with a large good factor! Staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful (not fake). The all inclusive package is very extensive, for example visit of 4 different restaurants possible, visit water slides park, free laundry! Grounds were very well kept, food with a good choice and good quality, both à la carte, as well as buffet. Location directly by the beach, free drinks (all-in) at the beach bar, towel service, and so on. Only drawback was the bad condition of the tennis courts. Went as a couple there, would with children return. With the hotel ... one does not make anything wrong. read more

Top -hotel with very pleasant staff. Especially the gästebetreuerin m. m. Was perfect. It has us on the first day everything important explained and was also always present (every two days by the pool and beach the people asked, wether everything is okay and in between on the front desk distance). Front desk and bellmen (german) could all well german and it wasn't a problem, if you had a question. The waiters and room service were perfect in english and a little german. The proportion of families and russians was rather small. The hotel manager (half german/half dutch) is keen ..., that percentage balance (maximum 20% russians) is. The food was really great and diverse. Every day there were another issue in the main restaurant. Next to the main restaurant, there was also during the day the beach restaurant, in which there is a lot of fish and the pool restaurant with burgers, pizza and small snacks. At night we had the possibility in the main restaurant, beach restaurant and the 'arabesque' -an oriental restaurant to go. The beach restaurant offers 3 times the week also candelight dinner with 5-course menu ( allesall inclusive). We had and was a wonderful experience. One must only 24 hours advance, which not a problem is. The cleanliness the entire hotel and room was brilliant. And if you had special requests (for example another pillow or instead of normal Cola in the minibar a Cola-light), the in 10 minutes implemented. The beach was right behind our room and we had short walks to go. That is generally convenient in this hotel. Everything is so designed, that no long-term, and nevertheless peaceful enjoy the vacation can. The entertainment kept within limits and the entertainers accept will be charged, if one did not have desire on how to join in. In the evening there was live music and from 9:15 p. m. then attractions like for instance belly dancers, dervish, fakir etc. And after the attractions again live music, the one also dancing can. So not such a big fanfare, rather a bit quieter, but really great. The best vacation ever at the hotel was the free laundry service. Here you could free the whole dirty laundry and got it at least 24 hours later again. We had mostly at 9 o'clock delivered and on the same day in the evening back. Who has already, a suitcase full of washed and ironed clothes to take home with and only home to unpack. The hotel is situated in a so-called 'Madinat'. This means small city, in about 16 hotels are sited and through a secure entrance of the access of street traders and not legitimate persons prevented. Within this madinats there are numerous shops, in which one souvenir or other things to buy can. Also a bank and a bookstore, in which one also german things buy can. So really self-reliant. You must not to Hurghada. For us the anyway not into question, as we had a Nile-cruise and there everything bought and enough of pushy traders had. Conclusion a successful vacation overall, i again would make. It is it is a pity that tourism in Egypt due to the aufbauschenden television coverage so declined is. Through the relatively small number of rooms and the location of the beach the hotel is the best choice at the Makadi Bay. We found everything as very clean, the predominantly german-speaking guests were further beach down rather rare. read more

    Well, for egyptian standards the food was good and varied. I missed a bit the selection of fruit for breakfast. The döner is brilliant. The oriental restaurant of the towers was comfortable and interesting time to try out, 1 time but good enough. The beach restaurant, which by the way in another beach is, was okay.

    The pool is very generously, partly heated and very clean. The animation is rather low-key, as well as the evening entertainment. You can, but you didn't have to participate. It is considerably more pleasant as Hurghada, still somewhat idyllic. Unfortunately there are a lot of too many screens at the beach, you can tell not at all, which when the next hotel. A very nice hotel for a nice beach vacation, you just don't want to do. Large facilities outside the strictly guarded resorts does not exist. The hotel is a family-run hotel. Furniture a bit dated. However very friendly staff. Everyone strives to please to make everything right for the guest. It was constantly asked, wether everything is okay. Very nice garden area. In the first week of march-peace-peace-peace. Only by the pool it was a bit jerky but no entertainment. What has disturbed us, was, that one in the evening not comfortable in a protected, warm area to sit. In the bar was, too few places. It was still very cool in the evening. The wind was. What was not good-the tent for the activities-fit ... somehow not in the complex. Entertainment not so great- you must not have. The audience rather simple, just al guests. Many with shorter pants and jogginganzügen, flip-flops - in the evening. You have a lot on the, if you are a bit 'chic' dressed had. No 5 stars but good. No stress with the chairs, sufficient space. read more

The Makadi Beach hotel is really worth a trip! It lies directly at the beach, has a beautiful garden, a very well maintained pool area and the rooms are on several 2-storey buildings around the pool and on the seaside distributed, erd and top floor. All ranges are very much maintained. We had a superior room with a beautiful balcony with a great view on the pool and the hotel. The guest structure is mixed, many germans, few russians. The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. The men at the front desk were exceedingly friendly, very well trained, multi-lingual ... and very helpful. The all inclusive package is very extensive, for example visit of 4 different restaurants possible, visit the water slides-parks, free laundry!     The rooms are big enough, are equipped with air conditioning, free safe, kettle with instant coffee, minibar with free soft drinks, as well as large bottles of water, a flat-screen tv with german channels and in the bathroom with toiletries. Everything was cleaned thoroughly every day. The zimmerboy has every day with 2 towels small artworks formed and to our delight on the bed placed, draped with flowers and leaves. We have every day pleased on the surprise.

    There was a main restaurant, a pool bar including a salad bar, a small show with snacks, ice cream and serve waffle station, an oriental restaurant in the tower and a beach restaurant. We tried everything except for the turmrestaurant. In the beach restaurant it was nothing special good, otherwise was the quality of the dishes very good. We are almost always in the main restaurant left, because the selection there very big was. The waiters in all areas were very accommodating and efficient. Everywhere it was very clean, both the linens, as well as the sanitary installations. The cooks at the buffet contribute to the preparation of food gloves, it is really on hygiene.

    The two pools were very clean and tidy. The large pool was not heated at about 22 degrees and the small pool at the pool bar was at 29 degrees. The animation was not intrusive. Always enough loungers by the pool, as well as at the beach available. There was also everywhere clean toilets. On the beach, there was also a bar, where you cool drinks, ice cream, and coffee got. The only problem for us was the large pool, the low hooks in the pool. One had almost kneel, to the metalltreppe in the pool to climb. The exit from the pool was also difficult.     The hotel is about 40 minutes away from Hurghada airport. The transfer by the travel agent l ' tur was annoying, we had to on arrival circa 90 minutes to wait, until the transfer bus finally direction hotel could. We therefore voted in favour of the return flight a taxi to the airport done (circa 25 Euro), otherwise we would have already 4 (!) Hours before departure in the hotel picked up. After 2010 in the Iberotel Makadi Beach for the 2. time - we did not regret it. Weather to 32 degrees warm pool, great beach. Exceptionally good staff in all areas. Never a bad word or similar. Great atmosphere in all areas. Just vacation at it's best. Varied food and always something there for everyone. Good mixed clientele. We are very satisfied %blank% and are definitely coming again. Great facilities and room. Evenings nice program and very quiet sleep. Beach with chairs clean and right on the hotel with three small reefs for snorkelling or also with sandzugang for children for swimming. Food great, especially fish. For beginners and children, or very well suited for swimming. Trips with the boat on the outside, reefs are very recommendable. We saw dolphins, mantarochen, turtles and other great sealife seen. Unrest you get at any time a bit with, the Madinat Makadi is definitely safe. ... We would any time come back. It was warm up to 30° but windy, what us as night lights didn't bother us.     There was a main restaurant, a pool bar with food, an oriental restaurant in the tower and a beach restaurant. We tried everything except for the turmrestaurant. In all of the restaurants was the quality the food excellent. However, we are almost always in the main restaurant left, because the choice was great. The waiters in all areas were very welcoming and they said they would commission on the all-inclusive drinks. It was always a courteous service without every time to give tips. If we tip given, it is in a gemeinschaftstrinkgeldkasse come. This is to all of the staff water. Also, everything was meticulously clean. The linens, and napkins during dinner and, of course, also the sanitary facilities.

    The two pools were very clean and tidy. The large pool was not heated at about 20 degrees and the small of of the pool bar was at 29 degrees. The entertainment was not intrusive. Always enough sunbeds by the pool, as well as at the beach available. There was also everywhere clean toilets. At the beach there was also a bar where you cold drinks, and coffee got.

    The hotel is about 40 minutes away from airport Hurghada. Transfer worked without a problem. In the immediate vicinity there are plenty of shopping for souvenirs. Act is however duty. The hotel provides a shuttle to Hurghada for 6 Euro per person. There one has then about 3 hours for strolling. However, they all taxi angehupt. Taxis in abundance. All want guests to pick them up. Very annoying!
