It was our 2. visit to the Neptuno, but definitely not our last!
We were four weeks and not one day regret it.
It is the hotel already a bit outdated ( old bathroom, old balcony furniture, lots of stairs)
But should this year do something.
It is a straightforward hotel with very mixed audience of all age groups, except for children.
It is very clean. Somewhere is always someone cleaning and tidying up.
The entire staff is very nice and helpful, and always endeavors for the guest to vermitten that he gladly seen is.
Our welcome by some of ... the staff, was as if one only yesterday the hotel leave. read more

Very rude front desk, we were group of 8 persons, what 3 no room in this booked hotel got! In the restaurant you will, if you 2 (!) Minutes came too early, just very, very rude out komplementiert. Flexibility no available. Parking for large car too small!

Excellent hotel for adults! Close proximity to Yumbo offers excellent possibilities to go out. The pool is a bit small. Over silverster the hotel was very good and we had unfortunately no chance a lounger by the pool to get. These were always already with towels 'reserviert'.
The selection of food is really good and it tasted great!
Again many thanks for the great service the check-in. No comparison to the bungalow complex we are taken off!
We had a room to the side and we have the music from the directly adjoining Yumbo hardly heard. We are definitely coming ... again! read more

Who close proximity to Yumbo-center searches, can't better stay for all other it is possibly a bit noisy at night due to the bars and pubs.
As almost all hotels in Playa del Ingles a bit dated (style of the building, decor), but from the 8. four star hotels the i in Playa know by far the best - friendly staff, good and clean rooms, too many good food, good value for money.
For one week sun, beach and party perfect-if you party on gran cranaria't need, is anyway for example in Maspalomas/ Meloneras better cared for. Therefor for a ... short break in the winter in the sun there for the 3. time and gladly anytime again. read more

The waiters was very pleasant and accommodating, quick service, the rooms were properly cleaned, towels are changed every day, the dishes were for 4 stars is a disgrace, mostly only lukewarm to warm, rather than hot, the rooms rather small, the beds are not the standard a youth hostel
Conclusion: staff including the cleaning lady and bartender top, the chef should time a few training reserve, which the preparation and the presentation of food choices. The hotel is outdated, it was for certain once a great place on Gran Canaria, a shame read more

I travelled solo and first time on Neptuno hotel. I had high expectations from a 4 star hotel but later very disappointed. It is more a 3 star style.
Overall hotel quite clean, but furnItures outdated.
Pillows are terrible and beds not comfortable. Very noisy during the night!
On my booking I requested a solo table for the duration of the holiday, but it was ignored! I was given a table to share with other 3 peolple, that I found quite uncomfortable. I decided to go out to eat Instead. The buffet quality and choices is quite poor. looks like ... cheap food for tourists!
Breakfast is fairly good but the coffee is terrible. It is a machine process coffee.
As a solo traveller, I didn't feel looked after, even the staff is quite friendly but not genuine. They keep saying buenos Dias, without eye contact.
Free Wifi but very slow service, unless you come down to the reception. read more

For a 4 star hotel were my expectation too high. The modern website has deceived. It was only half-hearted renovated. On the first day i am on the balcony with the rattan chair collapsed, the repair has two days. The wellness area is a joke, three chambers - the saunas are too small for three and the access of outside next to the pool shower and evenings with padlock abgesprerrt. The cleaning lady was very nice, but only after 15 o'clock, which i not optimal found. The front desk was not rude, but a warm welcome looks differently, besides bekmm ... a few information, had vielels itself, for example the safe payment due is. The dining hours were on small carelessly geschnibbelten notes noted. The allocation of meal times and assigned tables for dinner i found not nice. The hotel is located directly at the Yumbo centrum, the especially for gay in the evening many possibilities to go out offers. On the back at the hotel one arrives directly there. Celebrated was partly until 4 o'clock in the morning. The most rooms of the hotel are on the side of the sea and to the Yumbo centrum faced. If you doors to the balcony closed, it is very noisy in the room and you can also sleep. Who however better in open doors wanted to sleep or absolute peace need, should well consider oneself, whether this hotel was ... the right one.
For persons with reduced mobility the hotel is only limited recommendable. There is a lift, if you in the hotel is, but it is not wheelchair accessible to the hotel and to the pool.
Very positive is the free shuttle bus-bus to the beach ( both Playa del Ingles, as well as Maspalomas). Far you can at the front desk questions, whether for the beach a sun screen can, as from guests bought and left behind sun screens there collected and are passed on.
About the website of the hotel you can a shuttle bus-service from and to the airport book. This cost at the time of our stay 6,66 Euro per person and distance and just a little more expensive, than the regular bus, the even around the corner stops.
By the pool were also each morning efficient loungers reserved, but it was never so full, that completely all loungers were reserved, so that one also later found a place.
The system during dinner should from the hotel be considered. At the moment there are two layers and within the layers feast tischzuordnungen. As a result, often four persons at a table set, the not at all and for four persons are the tables specially for dinner quite small. The staff are very hard, the empty plates were always quickly cleared away, but that is in the peak almost not possible. So I really enjoyed the hotel. There are really only 2 points, the not so optimal were:
The a were the balcony furniture, the not so good appeared. The furniture was already some years on the embossment. The 2. the fitness room. This is the poor relation in the hotel. The cross trainer worked, the treadmill still so to some extent. The fitness-towers, where various exercises do, were broken. The side were torn. Really a great shame. read more
