This Hotel is fantastic, we loved the view towards the Inland Waterway from our two (!!) balconies ! Full equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, two TV's and lots of room ! Combined with a superb sportsbar, a watertaxi stop and lovely ladies at the front desk this makes a perfect stay. Perfect, well almost. Just one thing is a bit too much. Parking costs a lot, especially if you have to tip the valet. Better collect quarters, there is metered parking directly in front of the hotel. read hotel review

this hotel was nice. rooms were ok with a nice view over Fort Lauderdale. for me not understandable is, that you reserve a room for two adults and two children, why do they only prepare the room for the two adults? then you call them, ask kindly to get prepared also the sofa couch for the kids, and when you turn back two hours later from dinner, the couch is still not prepared? the staff of the reception seemed to be overloaded. the staff of the valet parking was nice and friendly, but not very helpful. read hotel review

After we before the 'The Westin Cape Coral resort at Marina Village' had visited stood now il Lugano for the shopping/beach holiday on the program. We had Thomas Cook booked a suite! As the suite showed this to the sea, but you had stores parking and the north atlanitic ocean boulevard in front of the nose! We chose for 3 0 $/ day upgraded locally. We got a geräumigerer suite with balcony in line of sight innercostal water. The suite was about 70 square meters and was nicely appointed. The kitchen was only a kitchenette and it was missing an ... oven. Wlan was in the entire place free daily available. So goddie we had from the tour operator Continental Breakfast inclusive read hotel review

Suite with innercostal view... Size about 70 square meters Kitchenette no oven Otherwise fully equipped. However was the kücheninventar counted... One had after using ergo equivalent again the dishwasher set in motion... A bathroom... A toilet... And here gave it again shower curtains...!

  • Gastronomy

We had for our stay from the organizer continental breakfast including four star what can i say three stars the coffee was okay! We should not overestimate and the breakfast in the Amerika knows... White... The you can't... ****note: we were also in the 6 star ritz charleton west Palm Beach... , they could the breakfast not!

  • Service
    5.0

The staff at the reception was consistently nice and friendly. With english and spanish you got here very well. The cleaning of the rooms was fine, unfortunately it came to... If you at 16:30 o'clock from the beach, the room was not were made... After a discussion with the reception, improvement a. And then was there still the ' gestriegelte bell boy' but only 'a' from which... That went to the cellar to laugh... Led on as if he were the hotel manager personally... Even over tip was looking forward it is not. We had a few problems with the airconditioning... But they were promptly!

  • Sport & Leisure

Pool... Yes, it was a small pool next to the house... But with zero atmosphere... But why in the pool who the beautiful beach just 5 minutes on foot away! Fitness... It should according to the hotel brochure also give... With a view of the relax on the waterway... And as we daily our workout need we made ourselves on the way to the gym... We found then on the 6 floor rather a broom closet with mostly defective equipment! On demand one explained us the gym in favour of tagesraumes to the 6. floor misplaced had... Before view we didn't want to continue.

The hotel is as described in the catalog in 2. beach row. To the beautiful beach on foot it is 5 minutes night life and smaller stores (walgreens) for the daily need you will find on the way to the beach. Want to the big sawgrass mall is by car 25 minutes Overall the location is good with to evaluate.

We booked a junior suite but, as they not finished yet was we should go for a stroll or and the front desk we then call for the room was prepared. We found that not so funny, also we at 15 o'clock were there. After a short debate we got immediately a room. A 2 room suite. The suite was great. Kitchen fully equipped, huge balcony. To the beach around 10 minutes away on foot. read hotel review

A week we stayed at this really nice hotel. We had an apartment rented, including kitchen and washing machine, dryer, and balcony. The room is more than sufficient space in all areas. The bed from the living and dining area is a separate what a nice atmosphere. Two tvs and a stereo were available. The balcony we had in the direction of the channels, witklich a beautiful view on one of the upper floors. On the balcony there was a large table with chairs on your disposal. As a smoker you should not on the balcony to smoke, penalty about ... 200 American Dollar no note. Smokers before the door good, but there are not even ashtray available. The check-in and check-out went quickly and smoothly. Unfortunately, the hotel no free parking available, costs garage circa 20 American Dollar/night. In front of the hotel there is a paying car park, at night or until 8 o'clock in the morning, this is free of charge. For this parking you need enough coins. To the bar/restaurant of the hotel we can't comment, since we did not use these. On occasion, there have in the lobby offers live music. The pool area outside is nicely done, unfortunately by klimaanlagengeräusche very noisy, seemed disturbing. It may have been more beach chairs available. The hotel has some bootsanlägeplätze nearby the pool area. read hotel review

We were on a Florida round trip and feet. Lauderdale and the Il Lugano was the last of the hotels booked by us but by far the best and had the whole a really great atmosphere. The breakfast was à la carte and of outstanding quality, otherwise, we can't judge since we always ate out. The hotel, front desk and lobby, the hallways as well as rooms are really well designed without being cold. The location of the hotel wasn't't as suitable but the hotel has a shuttle to the example in the evening within a radius of three free ... miles at a table of his choice drives. We have the two nights we go to Wilton drive, the driver we have five tip$ given and then went on the slopes. The beach is in short walking distance. Otherwise there was in the immediate vicinity of the hotel not many possibilities to go shopping or go out. Transportation to and from the hotel was very comfortable and it unlimited recommend! read hotel review

This was our first stay in this hotel, but certainly not the last. Room was very clean. The staff was very friendly. Our room with a view of the canal was great. Re-visit not excluded. Where FRANCI 's restaurant-opened 2007 the modern & il Lugano hotel: very, very chic in an art deco style equipped and member of Summit hotel group. There is no direct access to the beach, therefor but a shuttle bus, although the beach or Aperfekt within seven minutes walk to reach. all around there are small shops and restaurants, especially the Greek restaurant the Greek islands tavern immediate Right near 'across the street' at the Aperfekt is inexpensive and in the zagat (the American counterpart to the Michelin guide) with 25 points (!) great and fairly assess ☺ In the hotel ... itself there are Todd ENGLISHs Italian restaurant, unfortunately only until 22:00 the o'clock is open, but until 23:00 service o'clock. the rooms are huge (for example # 919) part with a small kitchen and washer. I-phone charger and flat screen TV. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The car is parked of young men and quickly got on request (parking Valit) 15 US dollars night. The price performance ratio it is good (April 2010): We paid per night without tax 159 American dollar. The Hilton or the Ritz Carlton with view of the sea of the Atlantic Ocean about twice as much costs ☺ and ancient Avalon inn would probably no longer stay. Make sure you get a room with a view of the Canal or over the roofs of Fort Lauderdale east in one of the upper Floors book. For a short or longer stay in Fort Lauderdale very suitable. read hotel review

It is not your typical beach hotel, since about five minutes from the beach. Is very good for a stay in Fort Lauderdale, for excursions in the surrounding area. Room with a view of the canal highly recommendable. If you are lucky, you even saw dolphins in the channel! Twice we were lucky in the morning. Very good condition of the hotel! read hotel review
