I was already the second time in palzzo del mare and everything was right. Pure relaxation!
The good accommodation, the beautiful beach and the good food certainly have helped.

We were for the first time on one of the greek islands. It was very pleasant stay. The room was clean. The weather was excellent for swimming. The sea and the beach were very clean and at all times loungers free. Ideal for relaxing. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was good. Wonderful hotel with really great swimming pool and fine beach. The complex is altogether in a great condition, a feast for the eyes for botanists and friends of the clear design. We had room directly at the pool with private access, we found great, costs a few greek drachma more. The staff were very nice, also to the children. Food wonderful, of course buffet food, but varied and tasty. We would come back any time in the Palazzo go. read more

For relaxing simply super. No animation, all very nice. The hotel boss is simply brilliant, can help with systral from. The team at the pool bar is unbeatable. The greek evening was fun, although the vacationers always only decorate. I would for future visits be, that the ' maids' a bit better English. I could sometimes difficult to make yourself understood. Although the season had nearly ended, we never had the feeling, the ' last ' guests to be.
A problem we had only with our door at the glass shower: alone you got as did not come out. Someone ... had me always help, or I daughter. My husband was large enough and the door of at the top get open.
Apart from that it was a great stay and we are definitely coming again! read more

We had a really great and relaxing vacation stay ( unfortunately only 1 week).
The hotel is for the number of rooms very large and extensive. As a result there is everywhere a quiet spot.
We had a room with its own terrace ( couch and sun screen) and access to the pool.
The first 4 days was the also very quiet and relaxing, to a young family with two kids next to us occupied.
As came a bit more live in the neighborhood, but everything not a problem for us, however rather funny.
The food was always good quality ... and the room clean.
One thing was not so nice. Since we disabled fair rooms had stayed here in the shower bodenabflüsse recessed, which apparently no traps (syphon) showed. Thus it smelled in the bathroom always easy after faulgasen. These we could a damp towels on the bodenabflüssen repair. read more

The Palazzo del Mare invites to absolute relaxation a. We had a normal double room with a pool view in the 1st floor. This was clean, spacious and very modern decor.
At the pool as well as at the beach you got in any case a lounger and it never seemed overcrowded!
The food in the main restaurant ( we booked half board) was delicious and tasteful. In addition you could a dinner in the Italian restaurant book ( without an extra charge).
The bus connection to Kos- city right on the hotel and you could for 2 €per person ... into the city go.
Evenings was little live music at the bar not much going on.
The staff members were all always make an effort and very friendly.
We would definitely go again!-) read more

A truly beautiful, well-kept complex, huge long pool. Who the whole day sun on the balcony or of the terrace would like to, definitely the right side (2 times x) book. From lunch the other in the shade.
For real 5 stars spoiled is the choice of meals to poor and always the same.
The price of drinks are 6 stars, beer 0.3 4, -€, coffee Latte 4,50 Euro, cocktail from 8, -, why the
Moderate entertainment program in the evening also, is not adopted.

If you Palazzo del Mare bay can really relaxed on vacation fly, with the certainty a good hotel selected to have. Whether nun 4 4.5 or 5 stars like I didn't judge. The complex is in any case top, the bars and restaurants are all inviting and the food and drinks all tasty. A beer must on vacation also 4 €costs and a cocktail cost for us in every dive 8 Euro. Merely our room had a few faults ( decor slightly worn, toilet runs), but didn't really bother us. In any case you should a room on the ... right side of the book (2 times X), on the left-hand side is from 13 o'clock shade. We had room with private pool access. If you like in the pool swims should a few Euro and such a room book. The pool in the remaining absolutely amazing.
Now the only cons
1. like already in some comments before mentioned the towels totally over. As in 2 weeks the season is over, I think but that these be replaced.
2. in the travel catalog is possible as headlined 'premium' and ' time as a couple'. Since we also not in the high season flew, I now believe, that we 'relatively' quiet are. But there were many children in the hotel, the noise level for the food and at the pool massive anhoben. Who now a room with privateingang to the pool next to two families( for us it was thank god only a) has, the can quiet and comfortable pool day in the hair grease.
Now another tip for the families: there is on the island some club hotels ( recommendable Magic Life, was right next to the del mare) the for certain for children appropriate than the Palazzo del Mare. There is no child care, no animation, no evening agenda for children and the playing ground wasn't inviting. The hotel is wonderful. It everything is just right. You can relax and take a break from everyday life. You can stay in the massive pool swim laps, can but also visit the gym go or at the beach with a massage let yourself be pampered ( very recommendable). The hotel belongs to the new constructed hotels (2009) to Kos, which one also immediately recognizes. This hotel is our view the best hotel on the island, the rooms, as well as the whole area were very well maintained. Loungers by the pool, as well as at the beach were at any time sufficiently available, so the annoying reserve this was not necessary. You could even if you after the beach nor at the pool did without problem make. Free tables to the meal times were always sufficiently available. Whoever on a quiet and beautiful atmosphere, as well as very varied, varied and good food sets, is right at home here. Great big pool, own beach section. These were quite inviting, each ground floor -room has its own direct access to the pool. Since rotates you before breakfast the first round. Cleanliness was largely written. The Palazzo del Mare is a five star hotel( country category) with 175 rooms distributed on 2-story houses. The units and the entrance building in a U-shape around the massive pool built. The lower rooms have direct pool access. The complex is from the optics really very nice, with much natural stone and gardens. Gardener and cleaning staff are always on the way, in order to everything okay to hold. To book the hotel is with half board or full board (with full board, the lunch in the bacco -restaurant restaurant). The guests came too many from Germany, the Switzerland ..., Austria, England and the Netherlands from babies to retirees everything was represented, whereas the present time lots of families with small children were there. A lift in the main building is certainly really practical for wheelchair users or people, the not so are light on their feet. read more

We booked the hotel there the reviews more than good were. Unfortunately, it has a bit disappointed. The vorzeigeteil that means the complex was perfect nice and well kept. Behind the scenes that means for the waiters was some lack noticed, we are after all at a star hotel. The rooms were never really and clean, on the mirror was on our mirror 14 days very big with the finger geschireben a tiericher name. The mountings dull the floor stained. The hand towels were all frayed. So at least as old as the complex. At home, i would this immediately. ... Oh, and the nightly visit from the sewer by black beetle not to forget. Was not nice at night if you go into the bathroom thing and the floor was. The food, whether in the morning or in the evening was very good and always freshly prepared. Only the waiters not correctly trained. One went for example after a essensgang to the buffet, the plates were cleared away. But from a new cover, knifes and not more on the table.
