The usual extortionate prices in Zürich it is a really good alternative. You need then just 15 minutes with the tram to the train station.
The modern hotel is characterized by large international, especially very many individuals and groups many countries other cultures. Obviously there were also so different breakfast area. We had a standard room for one night, which we directly via the side of IHG -hotels booked. The room was peaceful, clean and well equipped, it would have however somewhat bigger. We paid for the room a part of our priority club Treuepunkte redeemed, so we got to use the final outcome only 45 Euro for the night paid. The Standarpreis lag in this night but with about 120 Euro, which I the standard room very much think. Well, Zürich-price just. Breakfast was in the room price not included. The underground car park we could free use. Check out ... was at 12:00 o'clock. In short: for our Persi OK, but the standard price I would not have paid. read more

That was for a four star hotel very disappointing:
The room was cleaned, however hatben we the toilet on the floor, on the toilet seat and in the shower yet stains the predecessor found (well, is found the wrong formulation, because Searches we didn't. ) the room was probably already longer empty: Badezimmerregal and desk were thickly eungestaubt.
Also: there is no chrank, only one clothes, we had to leave our laundry in the suitcase leave.
The door between the bathroom and living room is only frosted glass: one can recognize so very good, what the other straight in the ... bathroom treubt. Even worse: the door is not locked, the other also hear everything. But the worst: neither window yet air ventilation in the bathroom, so everything comes into the living/bedroom. Oh:a toilet brush if you also in vain.
Only one instead of 2 bathrobes in the room. That was very disappointing.
We complained on the room and there is a breakfast voucher get, the joke thing: are emphasized, there is apparently a mistake occurred (not to the 21 days advance scheme believe) and we had a breakfast inclusive. The costs 30 CHF per person extra. read more

The hotel is conveniently located, right next to a tram line, the to the center runs, but to the centre there are just three kilometers, and the street noise did bother us a bit in the rooms, the that the front of the hotel. The rooms at the back of the hotel are considerably more quiet, therefor you absolutely ugly view of a drab, partly with rubble strewn Backyard play in reason. Our room was a bit small, but we arrived managed, because we had only a small amount of luggage. For families it would be inappropriate, because an extra ... bed certainly not fit in could have been. The bathroom was small and only with a sliding frosted glass separated from the room, so you should be very familiar with each other, in order to cope. The cleanliness is nothing to complain about, the beds were changed daily and the towels changed as well. The breakfast buffet is wide, there are various types of breads and rolls, croissants, sausage, cheese, butter, jam, cereal, fruit and fruit salad, sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs to American pancakes and freshly made omelets back out a pretty much everything, even an Asian morover. Unfortunately, the service was a bit slow (we had to wait one day almost 20 minutes for fresh coffee) and the re-filling of the food was not always attentive. But if you time to the breakfast, it was bearable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the front desk offers as a service the tram passengers or the Zurich card to buy (same price as at the widespread), so that you can just head out. The parking in the hotel garage is at the weekend (from afternoon until Friday Sunday) free of charge and you get even a parking card for as many in and out privileges during this period. read more

The former Inter continental is a little outside of the center nevertheless quickly with the tram reachable. The station is only a a few meters from the hotel away. The staff were always friendly and even spoke German. As always I got an upgrade to a larger room.
The rooms are nice and friendly furnished with a few small Macken. The display is unfortunately way too far above and not forward traversable. The problem is the screens a certain angle, where you can see. This exceeded so that you no longer can see. Also the shower is not without any ... drawbacks. The separation is so small the constantly water on the ground. The decor of the hotel is really great and very recommendable. Also nearby there is a large department store. read more

We can recommend this hotel and would stay there again and again. Very nice, renovated, but quite small rooms with flat-screen, and Wi-Fi Internet access (free of charge). The bathroom is very appealing, even with rain shower. Everything was clean and tidy. Despite the central location it was very quiet. The service was excellent in every area and always very friendly and attentive to its guests! The breakfast buffet in the room was perfect. read more

The hotel Crowne Plaza Zurich is a large hotel with over 350 rooms. In spite of the large number are the staff/ inside, all very accommodating and competent are, a personal atmosphere to create, which one otherwise in such big houses't often see.
It is everywhere very clean and you feel immediately in the house. I am speaking here as a rather critical hotel guest, as I come from the industry and lots of things in a hotel intensive see what other, gastronomiefremde guests. The guest structure is very International. Because of the size must be necessarily with buses work ..., which however not negative noticeable. read more

We spent two nights at the Crown Plaza and were from the friendliness of the staff, from the newly renovated modern rooms with rain shower and the rich American breakfast was very impressed. The transport links to the city center was very good; about a five minute walk to the tram and then the two or three about 19 minutes into the city center. For 24 hour eight Franc you can use the tram. The pool was big enough and clean as well as the fitness room had a very good facilities. Our room was on the fifth floor the ... street; but with the windows closed one heard absolutely nothing. The air conditioning worked very well! Conclusion; here the price/performance ratio and we would definitely be back! read more

Good city hotel on the edge of town. Not quite new anymore but totally okay. About 15 minute tram mile from the city center away. Day ticket for the trams/buses are recommended. Reasonably priced the hotel is probably in the upper area-compared to comparable properties. Of course, 'award' for Switzerland/Zurich-current German because of the exchange rate, as well as expensive. read more

The rooms are very, very small, bathroom only with hip bath. Two people could not get into the bathroom. Windows do not open except for small window which only in Kipposition is. They should not room on the street side are noisy due to the tram or keep windows closed. We had two rooms as our children are already older but still not a lot of space, there were no closets available, only a clothes rail. The children were not allowed to swim in the pool because it still has no 16 years old, the parents in monitoring are a ... must, we did not experienced. But you have to say that the rooms are modern installed, which in early 2011. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend this hotel for business travellers, not for families! read more

As Hotel suitable if you don't mind the distance to the city. The Wellness and fitness is however advertised very bad. This is run by an external undertake. The condition is run down. The biggest limitation is the completely separate ladies and Herrenbereich for pairs absolutely not suitably!

In the city you can take the tram (just a few meters from the bus stop) or you can manage it by foot.
Rooms are small but very modern installed.
Wellness area very clean.
The breakfast buffet offered plenty of selection.
Small point of criticism: there were no money in the hotel changed and the bathroom after showering under water easily. read more

Generally super hotel for a weekend visit to Zurich, not suitable for longer stays as the rooms are very small. The bathroom is the concept somehow not elaborate... Small shower with aligned but not worn close the whole bathroom glass wall drawbar watered down... On demand biemssteinfelsen hotel was the toilet brush the standard adapted for hygenic reasons which we didn't understand. The hotel restaurant was outstanding recommendations related! And the tram tickets were for sale for half price! As you come to a good conclusion! read more
