Very friendly staff, however nothing animation, broken pool, old and really not beautiful rooms, little dirty, telephone and tv of 1900. Food. Yuck! Besides everyday the same, breakfast better not at all only touch. The beach was very pleasant, but unfortunately only very small, no long walks on the beach. read more

We were altogether very satisfied. The staff are very friendly and helpful been. The variety the food was unfortunately a bit tight, but what was offered, was tasty.
For us completely sufficiently. Had no high expectations, since most of the time anyway outside hang out.
We in any case, would the HoR palace again.

Very friendly staff. Large faults with the quality and selection of food. Beds daily made and nicely decorated. Sheets had stains from the previous guests and were not changed. Nice location, clear and clean sea, stony beach. Many Russians, but didn't bother us. Not child friendly!'playground very run-down and many cacti... Egypt: yes-we'll be back! Hor Palace: only for people with low demands read more

Were in December 2011 last minute over new year's Eve at the HoR Palace,
very poor condition of the hotel everything was very old and run down,
very many Eastern Europeans and Russians. Icing on the cake was the food and the rooms.
had firstly a bungalow already 30 years since the more cleaned was.
is the newest what you have assured the man from the front desk. The air conditioning was totally dusty the bath was moldy (without joke)! Tiles broken out and the toilet from the previous guests left still visible. There are no toilet brushes. Changed bungalow ... to a room that was tolerable. read more

that was great! Down hotel-food disaster-Hotel for overnight stay-no more than that. Untidy area-pool dirty-restaurant looks like a clinic-sausage crimps view have not tried not to cramp-lots of East Europeans!-beach: clean-Pebble beach chairs are disaster (old wood in waveform-no stomach possible!) only for the East Europeans Hurghada laid out! Advantage: you get all the shopping possibilities in front of the hotel (restaurants/bars/shops/Hard Rock Cafe...) read more

For backpackers recommended, otherwise not, food very poor, if only bungalow. Wireless internet at the reception against fee. The staff was very friendly.
Otherwise I give this hotel only a few years, then you can take the excavator ancestors.
Otherwise the beach was very nice nice sand. I have the
Hotel because of the mail (in front of the hotel) chose to go out. Hard Rock Cafe in the tip nearby with free WLAN.

Typical three star hotel, which came in years. Overall very clean and well-kept area, however already somewhat older. We were very satisfied with the food, as well as the staff was very friendly to us. We will recommend this hotel because of the price/performance ratio definitely stay there again. :-) read more

You have to pay a lot and don't get much, more less!
It is very easy to find fault with the cleanliness.
One should from a hotel zumiendest clean sheets, towels and a clean room can reasonably expect, but not from Hor Palace!!
The pool was cloudy and smelled like urine.
The grassy areas are cast with the waste, which was an unpleasant smell with it.
The beach was dirty and not well maintained.
A hotel, which already longer no more worries, the rooms, the lawn, the paths, the pool and the beach.
Fortunately there is centrally located in the ... new Promenade and appropriate ways.
There are good shopping options near the hotel. read more

We enjoyed the whole area including. Service and food not like: food didn't tasted, was not at all seasoned, no variety, there was always the same, the fruit except melon in small quantities from time to time there was not even figs. Service was slow, to friendly, with girls flirted even if your partner was. Our experience is not what we want again read more

After a great Nile cruise and three days of our stay in Cairo, this hotel was a shock. At the reception rude staff, the every handshake too much (even on the issue of passports at check out we had vigorously). Our room (bungalow) when we arrived was extremely dirty (urine stains on the toilet seat, dirty towels-indefinable marks on it). Although we had booked all inclusive, you got water in 0.2 liter plastic cups. Bottled water had to be purchased. The food undecided and didn't taste very good. Overall the resort is very dirty and dilapidated. Most of the ... tourists: Russian nationality, absolute rarity German. Locality of the staff: bad English, German minimal. read more

7 minutes away from the airport. Right in front of the shopping street. The hard rock Café about 500 meter is quiet and no noise. Hotel old, partly in need of renovation. Super garden. Bungalows were good. Tip about10-£ 75 percent. 20 Russian, 15 percent Egyptian rest of everywhere. Staff friendly, 100 percent to men.
The beach was clean, beach chairs and cushions were old. Low water level, for children OK corals and wildlife dead, but a few fish are still there. Food, always (wide variety)-tea better than coffee, lunch and dinner somewhat whole week similar. In abdominal antinal ... helps for five pounds. Soft drinks, alcoholic beverages made in Egypt. The pool was okay, but about 1 meters depth. Note-3 playground, for such was renovated. Around 22,30 o'clock, (after all inclusive) program. Outside the excursions are cheaper. Taxis without end. Action is paramount, half is okay. read more

We have this hotel in spite of the negative reviews- first of all because of the reasonable price and were completely positively surprised. The staff was friendly and attentive, the beach very nice, everything was great... The three stars standard, the food, the mentality etc. In Egypt not like in Germany is, should be clear to everyone. Other countries, other customs! :-) read more

The hotel itself is quite abgewohlt, but reasonably clean. The room this is not, I can only say make-up leftovers on the pillows... There was however new towels regeläßig.
The pool was found awful was the food! If one wanted to avoid salad (Dünpfiff...) and also didn't had liver, every blied (!!!) day only spaghetti with aqueous sauce! (In order not to lie: once in twelve days there was another sauce) and for lunch and dinner. An absolute Frechhheit!!!!!
Absolutely no recommendation!! read more

The hotel is certainly past its best times behind itself. The staff was not very friendly, it was actually totally on Russian tourists, as were all events only in Russian been announced. There were only very few German tourists in this hotel. The room was cleaned the whole two weeks, the bathroom was not cleaned, the sheets changed... not recommendable read more

Good hotel for bed & breakfast archived

The Hor Palace Hotel is been refubished slow but surely, the hotel is centrally located and would be ideal for bed & breakfast we could not complain with the quality of the food at breakfast, although the evening meal was a bit hit and miss & was not of good quality. The staff were very friendly and would do anything to make your stay enjoyable. We purchased food for our wedding anniversery whilst staying in the hotel (as a treat) and found it a lot better quality than what was being served up on the buffet for the evening meal ..., so it showed that better food could be made in the kitchen. Maybe the food was geared up to the many Russians who were staying in the hotel, at one stage of our stay we were the only English people in the hotel which worked in our favour as the staff looked after us a lot better. All inall we enjoyed our stay but at this stage the hotel is no where near the classification it claims to be, I would class it as a 1*hotel, but go and make your own minds up.(B&B would be ideal with plenty of bars and restaurants near by

If you were better off occasion (about six Germans about 350 Russian tourists)
The food is neither palatable nor varied.2 x daily (lunch and dinner) the same (chicken, liver, fish) and not very nice to look at from the Zubereitun cooks and presentation on the basis, fruit is not to be expected, the drinks, alcoholic drinks are planning to wine and spirits from cardboard crudest form (only as medical envelopes recommended (as stated by Myriam all ethanol, only differently colored) read more
