The El Mouradi hotel in port el kantoui is a old tired, run down hotel with übefordertem, unfriendly and mostly gleichgültigem staff. If you had a request, it was only possible with a tip. We denied, since we this' underhand game ' not keen.
The hotel is as a 4 star hotel classified, in our eyes a real joke. Such a dirty, moldy and partially. Broken area we have yet seen. The horror-show!
The rooms have maximum herbergsniveau. The booked sea view was not available. There was neither a hair dryer, nor a remote control, what a 4 stars classification ... to the standard. The cleaning ladies were rather annoying as useful. The 'please do not disturb-signs were ignored, partly. Simply into the room stormed. If you as to clean into the room left, was only the bed made, from the cleaning was nothing to remember. The bathroom fittings were filthy and rusty, the towels specious, gray and smelled of chlorine.
The dining room is worse than any hinterhofkantine, depressing, dirty and there was a volume, each construction site to honour could. Dirty table-ware by the tables was only slowly and reluctantly cleared, so that you sometimes was forced, even a dining area to create. The food as' food ' to describe, is really difficult. Hotel for retired people. Rooms and hallways carpeted floors, very unhygienic, dirty, stained. Dark corridors. The food was rather good, lettuce and salads freshly, atmosphere but like a station concourse. Dishes partly stained. Red wine in the all-inclusive good. The entertainment was good, very hard. Room is badly cleaned. No hairdryer, no fridge in the room, but large closet. Bathroom acceptable, no mold, but outdated. Flushing repaired it myself. Staff is gladly with tips to motivate. read more

An average hotel with a three star in a good location. Variety the food was good, although a little varied. What i unbearable found: an intolerable noise in the dining room, increased by konzertante music, to loud music in the other rooms, reading there partly difficult. Recognizable aging in the whole room which one could live. Hotel otherwise top and well recommended. Were there over christmas and new years eve. Was even decorated for christmas. Both holidays 6 course menu. Otherwise varied buffet, also for small children(kitchen did also gladly cooked). Harbor and park, as well as small zoo easily accessible on foot. We found it to be a family friendly. Our daughter(3 years) had fun with mini disco. Would go back by accident. read more

The hotel is teis run-down, on the rooms was smoke, which very unpleasant for non-smokers is.

For us it was this year the 4 holiday in this hotel ( even 2 times this year -june and october), and in 2013 we will come back to this hotel. There are certainly hotels the 'better' are, but bear in mind that we, here in an african country, and not expect german standard as there are so many it offers. For us as family with a child ( 4 years), there was nothing which we complain may. The beach is great - the complex is cleaned daily, the rooms - if you want it and so on. The food ... is plentiful whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner, and at the beach bar there were small snacks in the afternoon and beverages such as in the hotel also. So what else could you want;-). We had already considered times another hotel to test, but since we were immediately agreed not to do it, because we know what we have and our son feel comfortable, especially, because the employees all very pleasant to him are \u263a. Even without a tip. On the surrounding area can be said- for who wants it in surrounding shops go shopping or but also with taxi for 4 Dinar - (2 €) to the harbor go. It was a really great vacation and a great beach. Just a pity, that a most waiter without tip just ignore them in the dining room and in the bar. Even though it was a 'low-cost' room we had booked, we got a very nice large room with a large balcony. The room was newly renovated and was cleaned daily. The towels were changed daily and the bed linen every two days.

If you are looking for modern and clean rooms sets, is missing here in the square. The hotel shows obvious signs of its age but despite all charm! The average age of the guests lay clearly over 50, and it was a colorful nationenmisch. German, English, russians, dutch, austrians, swiss, thus half Europa. It is not unpleasant, however rather exciting. Sumptuous the particular buffet, no matter wether breakfast, lunch ... or dinner. Who with cool temperatures meals would like. Should definitely not the middle restaurant area select, the only plus the absolute proximity to buffet has. Here is it hot, in contrast to this the two outer restaurant area, the pleasant air conditioned. The beach is wonderful, spotless, and there are enough chairs available. The water is clear and wonderful and really vacations a. If you're on a stylish haircut inclined, should definitely a hair dryer carry forward, there is in the entire hotel not! Since April we read the reviews and with mixed feelings traveled. A glass palace we didn't and thank god not found. For us was the first impression very positive at check in. We found nice reception staff, the US (after the bracelet) for lunch sent. We were given a tidy set table and after the asks for asked (as for every meal time at all 7 days). Friendly and with good words. The food I would with 3 my husband with 2 rate. Chambermaid was friendly and was clean. Garden- and pool area great. We only in the sea bathed. ... Beach was clean, enough loungers available. Animation did not please us at all. We have in other hotels experienced better-also with foreign languages. Very nice was the early evening a visit to the port area. Taxi 5 Dinar. Well bought as in the shops near the hotel.
Cigarettes negotiation on 30 Dinar - not a problem.
We would have preferred a safe in the room. In the safe room was under video surrveillance, there were with us and many other problems with the 2. Keys at the open.
But we can't say anything negative. We had a good relaxing vacation and wish the also all remaining El Mouradi - vacations. read more
