Nice and above all the best located hotel in the middle of the heart of Hamburg, which of course was the disadvantage, the parking rare and thus the parking fees of the hotel high. Therefore - without a car journeys or simply say, the surrounding car parks definitely not cheaper. Otherwise there was nothing to complain about, apart from the pool area is nice decorated and the sauna not really comfortable atmosphere has. A small sauna, no beach chairs, no relaxation room, no decent showers (one was at least 2 days broken) and whole then also for both male and ... female separately. The you could certainly make better. My massage was great, the massage room directly at the pool and only divided by a glass door, i found not so nice, because genuine peace was also not here possible. Also here-optimierungsbedarf. Otherwise a typical hotel a large hotel chain, all professional, but also not cheap. There are other, better and above all personal hotel in Hamburg. Nevertheless and above all because of the location-recommended. read more

    The room was big and spacious. A great big queen size bed was good to spend a night. A spacious bathroom with large bathtub. Unfortunately you had to articles for the mini bar at the front desk yourself and then-stocked. Something i would expect in a youth hostel. A kettle for coffee and tea was available.

    There was a restaurant with rather rustic but nice decor. The service was very friendly and the food good. Unfortunately, we got the last evening not our reserved table got, since this otherwise given to others. An employee had our reservierungsbuch registered. Here, but also with lots of notes as list worked, on the we have unfortunately not were. We got unfortunately only a 'nottisch' in the middle of the room at the entrance. So what should a 5 star hotel not happen. A nice bar with a big counter and cosy tables in the lounge style offer a brilliant atmosphere for the end of the evening. Here you could also a selection of warm small snack gotten, offering a great alternative to the dinner in the restaurant were. Unfortunately the breakfast was in my opinion way too expensive in respect to the quality and the offer. It ranged from standard bread and bread rolls with meat and coffee for 16 €over in addition muesli and yogurt for 22 €to the further increase with egg or omelet and bacon for 28 €. The complete choice i did in equal and better quality for much cheaper to get. This is where you pay only the 5 stars and the name. At the wide choice i do not know, what one for converted about 100 $for breakfast. Alternatively we then in the bar area à la carte breakfasts. Sufficient, very delicious and with scrambled eggs and hot beverage much cheaper.

    The service was very friendly and mostly attentive. On the way there at check-in i had the feeling, us rather than subprime guests rated, since we do not directly, but book through a internetbrooker had booked. If you don't find, you should from the side of the hotel no contracts with brookern make! We had another hotel lack booked offer leaving, but online was already paid. We did a payment of the first hotels. From the whole thing one wanted in the Marriott know nothing and this is our problem. There was no discussion on the issue of finding a simple and mutually fast and easy operation. The hotel no own parking spaces offer. Only possibility is a parking garage right next door, with a private entrance to the hotel. Unfortunately you will massively ripped off. Per half hour 2 €due at 28 €on the day. As a private entrance to the hotel is i see here a link/participation between p- hausbetreiber and hotel. This rip-off is absolute rip off and not service oriented.

    The gym was well equipped with treadmills, stationary bikes, and stair machines. Also some free weights were available. There were 2 saunas. Unfortunately no mix. So i had to in the herrensauna and my wife in the distant ladies. The pool was large enough to some laps. The service is supplied by an external company and is great. Coloured it was rather a bit sterile. Here could warmer tones for more comfort and style. Maybe also the one or the palm or similar.

    The hotel is great centrally located on the gänsemarkt location. A shopping arcade and various nobelboutiqen beach chairs directly beside. The alster lake with many shopping possibilities is only 5 minutes away. A taxi rank is right around the corner.

For a five-star hotel we had from the restaurant expected more. For breakfast there was paper-place mats. For dinner there was not even table cloths. The may currently be in vogue, however we expect a little better looked after -in other words Tischendecken - atmosphere. On complaints during dinner little professional replied, that it the other guests but tasted have. Also there we wish more Provessionaltiät. read more

Staff inside very competent, friendly and accommodating Room on the 6th floor unfortunately totally smoky, so we asked for a room changing, Not a problem - room afterwards on the 1st floor next to a study Unfortunately a bit loud and no nice view The breakfast excellent - there is everything, we could on the terrace breakfast wonderful! For me a quite perfect Cityhotel with very comfortable beds, really quiet rooms, Friendly staff and rich breakfast buffet. Only a few steps until the gänsemarkt and Nevertheless nice and quiet. Small shortcoming: no shower stall and bathroom a bit small. But everything very clean. Regarding the atmosphere not as nice as the meridian, however therefor centrally located. Good hotel. For a longer stay not for families recommendable, as typical hotel for business services. Jacuzzi is missing. Very clean. In 5a 10 minutes are numerous objectives on foot, easy reachable. read more

Hotel with international guests mix and very good, personal service in a prime downtown location. All major fashion label and the opera in a few minutes easy to reach on foot. Piano bar in the evening nice, good selection of international drinks. Breakfast from healthy to solid all in wide choice. Multimedia tv with many choice possibilities. The preferences induce to extra booking internet, movies and music. With 25. 00 euro per day not really cheap. A tip: parking garage with the hotel bill pay, saves a night 6. 00 euro we looking forward to the next stay in this ... house. read more

Use pool area was in our booked time not possible (Soft option 300 meters away in side-hotel). executive lounge was very unhygienic and poorly managed (gave us at earlier stays better liked). cleaning the room was not the cleanest. Maids don't speak German or English, newly fitted bed sheets partly dirty. read more

the hotel is centrally located and many sights, restaurants and shops, are also on foot easy to reach. The access from the airport the hotel is ideal. With the suburban train and one change in the subway, one is in good 30 minutes on the gänsemarkt goose market. From there it is only a few steps to the hotel. the service in the hotel was very good and we have a wonderful, extended weekend in Hamburg experienced. the Marriott hotel in Hamburg we can in any case recommend and would in any case stay there again. read more

Absolutely perfect for a city trip. Breakfast buffet moderately, but everything was there. Frühstückräumlichkeiten at high occupancy much too small. Very friendly and competent staff in all areas. Overpriced Wi-Fi, in case you need it. Schnäppchenbuchung via internet recommendable nonetheless! read more

Room were for our last stay in october 2009 partly renovated. The mould problem in the shower is fixed. read more

    We had spacious junior suite with a view of gänsemarkt goose market. Mini bar was empty, but kettle on room.

    Waiting times before breakfast, dishes were cleared late, crumbs from previous guests, etc. Not what we 5 stars had hoped for. Dinner was good, but for the price a little bit.

    Not enough staff for the gästemengen : Line up at check in, line up before breakfast, then about 10 minutes to wait, until you in the restaurant be left. The staff although trouble and friendly, is however with these bottlenecks completely overburdened. There were many wortgefechte and complaints of the guests, also a waiter said, they would be completely overcrowded. No personal words with check-in and check-out, no question after the trip there or, whether stay pleased.

the hotel is centrally located, the beds are good and the breakfast buffet is more than rich. the bar dusty, the staff totally overwhelmed, Queue before the breakfast area for registration, no mini bar in the rooms and not even a bottle of water was ready. All together not recommendable, there in Hamburg very, very much better. Look in Easter Island standard time hotel after, service and comfort with almost equal price, as day and night. read more

    Good beds, cleanly however evenly no mini bar, nothing to drink and the Kaffeekrug you should probably also with tap water fill. No bathrobe, although bathroom in the house

    An unfriendly desinteresiertes and so think I untrained staff. 2 FL. White wine were for 6 people half warm on 7 glasses fully divided. About 2.5 dl in the glass. Cristal Roederer, Fl. Over 200 euros not presented, not degust leave, listless serves. The heater were halfway in the cigarettes smoke outside issued you froze. The actual barman was never behind its desk clear, neither the welcome to the farewell.
