Nice hotel but the food is nothing for children

The hotel was general super the rooms and the food, but the food was more for adults our kids were not always satisfied then had them from the kids' menu and 1st it was little choice and very little (children's menu and there is just about the dinner) the rooms were super and large enough for us four. The condition was great and the cleanliness also. We had free wi-fi have over it our kids very pleased. As already mentioned the dinner was more for adults but the breakfast was great for small and large you need for a good ... start of the day. Our kids (7 years and 10 years) did not have much with the other children to do but there were a lot of children there, whether small or large. If german or dutch everything was there.

After a weekend; directly still a weekend Hapimag Winterberg! And luck with the weather or with the snow. Only we stayed in block 7, this weekend we were in block 3, directly next to the playground. Also or especially with snow for a 5-year-old welcome variety after a rodeltag! Good to know: for visitors this blocks it offers at, above the resorts by car jakobusstr. / corner breslauer street at the bus station in the small stichstraße to drive. From there you can above the houses with small stairs easy access to the apartments reach, without the entire luggage to ... carry or with a cart of the underground garage to the apartment uphill to push. read more

No wellness vacation! Hostel for families, but for more also not. Clean one must itself, apartments are neither modern nor comfortable (catalog description), just functional, rooms were not cleaned, so one imagines a wellness weekend not before. The walk to the spa when -5 °c by the cold and back, really great with wet hair \u263a 90% families with children, so total relaxation. That is unacceptable, we drove there for relaxation without our kids to have, as you need other not really, rage and shout in the pool. In the hot spots we could not at all, were children occupied ..., and at 19:30 o'clock ( kids free bath time) we decided not more. The restaurant close at 21:30 o'clock, a bar or a like did not give it, thus starting from with the taxi to Winterberg. Unfortunately you had to this also with the cell phone order, because the front desk at 21 o'clock not more busy, that have i in a 'hotel' had never experienced something like that. The food ( half board ) was all right. High praise to the staff, especially in the restaurant 'rothaarsteig' were the waitresses and waiters simply super. And the hot stone massage was great. The Hapimag Winterberg is very recommendable, the cleanliness the facilities and the room are top.
The easy access to the ski area is great by car around 5 minutes away on foot one is in 15-20 minutes at the destination.
What however would bother you is the apartments until quite late to finish we were around 10:00 in the morning and our room was only after 16:00 ready, we had to get in the spa move and first the slope. We should call, as soon as the room is finished, this remained however from, on demand why nobody ... has called came: mhh no idea. No apology only a mhh

The Hapimag Resort Winterberg is located on the hillside above Winterberg. It has 10 1-bedroom apartments (about 32 square meter for 2 persons), 152 2 bedroom apartments (about 43 square meter for 4 people) and 27 3 bedroom apartments (about 77 square meter for 6 people). The apartments are in a total of 10 building complexes with 3a 4 einzeleingängen on the hillside. All houses are by a walk connected with one another. Until the respective entrance can one with the car not drive, but it is for a daily lump sum of 4,50 Euro in the underground car ... park. For the luggage can one however kofferkulis borrow. Headroom for the garage is 1.95 metres; with my Skoda octavia combination with ski box ( karmei corvara ) i could easy in and out again.
The apartments (we had a 3 room apartment) are very spacious, with plenty of storage space in various cupboards, 2 chambers to the park and were very clean. Fresh rolls you get in the morning from 08:00 a. m. in the small village; there are amongst others the nespresso coffee capsules in all flavors for the coffee makers in the flats. While we were there, there were mainly families with children in the resort, but also older married couples from Germany and Holland. read more

This week we have in Winterberg very much enjoyed! All-really all of the staff the front desk/restaurant/spa were exceptionally friendly and from the hotel was pretty good. Check in and check-out, the best! Restaurant and service staff always attentive, food tastefully. Spa area with an indoor pool, spa treatments (kosmetik/massage), as well as sauna (sauna, bio sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin and massage shower). We would like to the service the sauna master praising mention-we enjoyed his infusions enjoyed.
The accommodation units are spacious and equipped with everything - it wasn't missing anything. The bathroom not large-but with all substantial ... one! Our unit was in a really clean condition.
As a family with a dog we felt welcome-this is not always of course.
As in previous reviews mentioned are the parking spaces a bit cramped - for larger cars be careful with dachgepäckträgern!
The area for hikers, skiers, tobogganing a lot to offer.
All in all good here the price-performance ratio was absolutely and we can the stay here absolutely recommend.
We will gladly come again! Many thanks for the wonderful wellness family vacation! read more

All in all a good hotel. It is relatively close to the ski lift, but you have still a piece of by car go.
Hotel was in a very good condition, with small business, ski rental and several restaurants.
We have at the buffet eaten, which very recommendable was. The food was great, as well as the service.
The wellness offer we could because of lack of time not use.
Our room was huge, with beautiful balcony and views over the valley.
Unfortunately was the bathroom not really clean and of the toilet seat with unpleasant stains mistake. The bedroom ... was very clean and the beds super comfortable.
Parking locally in a small garage was also reasonable. However are the parking spaces very narrow and someone into the car without it to report. Since there was no notes in the parking garage is, we will probably at the damage sit on. It would be useful, this retrofit.
Nevertheless we loved it and we will definitely come back again. read more

Very well-equipped apartment (kitchen fully equipped, spacious); excellent, modern spa with very friendly and absolutely flexible staff. My request for a massage could without waiting time to be implemented. The sauna area is absolutely well and the hot pots with a view of Winterberg are great.
Special requests, such as children's cot and high chair were quickly implemented.
We have in this complex a wonderful holiday, we could relax very well and will definitely go back there again! read more

The hotel is very modernly equipped. The rooms are apartments, which very well equipped are. The hotel is no typical wellness hotel, however rather a small park. Around in the wellness area to get to, you have to across the complex walking. The wellness area is very ok, however also definitely not something special, if you have several hotels learned. The booked treatments in contrast were a dream. Our Behandler were very friendly and professional. Total relaxation! During our entire stay were the hot pots except business. Unfortunately we were prior to and not with check in informed and were ... then disappointed. Overall the hotel is quite pleasant and for example for a family vacation/ hiking vacation very suitable. As a wellness hotel well. Especially for additional towels and bathrobe a extra charge to pay. read more

We stayed here with our 2 children (4 and 7) a wonderful fall-week in a clean resort. As neuaktionär of Hapimag this was our first stay when Hapimag.
The hotel is very well-maintained and clean. The 2 -room prem. Apartment has more or less everything you need, only and alone a microwave we missed. As the kids in the bedroom slept, we had to as parents on the couches in the living room/dining room sleeping-what normally also no problem was (and was known). The couches were m. M. After neu, with the mattresses but a mistake made-they were literally 'hard'. ...
The daily cooking kitchenette too small ( we wanted to however anyway not cook). The restaurants offer for ale a bit: à la carte or a wechselendes buffet.
In the autumn holidays there was a free child care, the with the kids very much crafts-our kids were although it is only 3 times, but we were thrilled - many thanks for that.
The wellness area is very clean and has an infrared cabin, a steam bath, organic and fin. Sauna. In the outdoor area
From the indoor pool are still 2 very large hot -pools.
The complex is very large and you can by car not the building to auslaen drive. At check in we got a free luggage service offered. Apart from that there are koffertrollys with the luggage to the house can bring ( fär kids a great thing).
All in all it was a beautiful week in Winterberg - and we will definitely return. read more

The complex spread over several thousand square meters and consists essentially in the climatised reception area with restaurants, the beach and ' wellness' area, as well as the buildings. As' spectacular ' should be the parking deck will mention, which in the entrance area the hotel to find.
The flats are generally from sech until 8. apartments (per entrance), equipped with bathroom/shower, kitchenette (no oven ) with a fridge, bedroom and bathroom area.
Each block has between three and four entrances, thus you feel a bit like a completely normal residential area in the großstadtrandgebiet.
The general condition could personable ... as' old fashioned ' be designated. The outer environment is generally well maintained, the paths are attached, the landscape professional gestutz. Only in the entrance area one had to be careful, not from the fortified because of 'line', there is partly to lawn border a deeper space, which in the dark a slight wegknicken can lead.
The condition of the special parking places is simply pathetic. Stelleweise were spaces due to wassereintritt locked. Everywhere there were large puddles, it is extremely cramped and the staircase of the special parking places reminds both visually, as well as from the smell of the worst dump in Hamburg. Since i really expected more.
Important to know: there are no possibility, by car the living areas to drive. So they are forced poor garage parking, and from there extremely inconvenient the luggage to the apartment to carry. For older people for certain a torture!
The condition the apartments are ok, however the furnishing strongly at the style of the 60. newer furniture and einrichtungsstücke ( bettunterbau, couchunterbau ) are mixed with brown, Cord-similar mattresses and pillows. The wall in the living room we had a brown water stain on. The curtains fit as well as in the 60. years. Only the flat screen tv (also nothing special large) is reminiscent of the 21. century.
To eat: half board is possible, but only bookable. The service in the restaurants is ok, a bit more expensive than at home. However one must announce itself before, then in the evening make sure to get a table. You could also call meals order, about pizza and the like, but these dishes then be fetched.
There are all sorts of guests there, many families with children, many older couples and some dutch guests. Particularly negative we noticed, the communication with each other in the pool area. Between 08:30 a. m. until 09:30 o'clock activities in the pool (beware, relatively small, about 20 times 8 metres ) - water aerobics, treading water, nordic walking (!) In the water. This is well used-during these times is a morning, relaxing swim only dream. Only possibility from 08:00 to 08:30, and from 09:30 to 10:00 - afterwards the pool for children released and it is extremely busy.
The sauna we didn't found, the hot tubs (two piece) were during our stay locked and not usable.
Another point the very unpleasantly noticeable, is the conversion and renovierungspolitik the hotel. From half are new in our block the handwekrer entrance, new windows installed. Holiday goes differently.
Elsewhere were außengerüste set up, you can hear a flex loops and the drill drill. I know it from upscale resorts so, that a block renovated and then just so long close.
Hound is ok, the dog but not everywhere with. Restaurants is a 'no-go', just a few blocks for dogs allowed. You will be right at the beginning very pleasant and by the Blume pointed out, the ' leftovers' enough, but actually also of course should be. read more
