We stayed 3 nights to the turn of the year 2012/2013 spent in this hotel: the access to the metro system could not be better. Our room (standard, upgrade from my platinum status on a club room to the yard) was really nice, large window to floor, condition of the room and bathroom ok, the design for gebäudestil suitable. However i would not have satisfied, i would have the room have to pay (official price Euro 640,-/night). Paris or not.
The service left on several things to be desired and this is such a price just not. read more

For a city break to Paris is this hotel perfect. Close proximity to subway station 'republic' is ideal. At the same time, it only a couple of minutes on foot the Marais and the river Seine is it then also not more far. Even this time was this choice of this hotel a perfect decision. Oh, the breakfast buffet is great. read more

The hotel is the place de la republique. Directly in front of the input is a metro station. To the explore of the city the hotel lies perfect.
From the outside a beautiful old building built in the Baroque style. Typical French just. From the inside the known modern 'Smart' an international major cities.
The rooms were also decorated in a modern style and equipped with everything what it needs (flat -tv, coffee machine, hair dryer, Ironing board ).
The size of the rooms was standard in Paris accordingly very small. Maximum 18 meters². More one nowhere in Paris for ... that price expect, therefore it is okay.
However it is not so exactly with the cleanliness taken. They mopped only superficially and vacuumed not at all.
With the service we different experiences made. An employee from the front desk was so rude, that there is already no more star can be. However was the friendly lady of the concierge '-service exceedingly friendly and hilfsbbereit.
Altogether we can the hotel would recommend, but would at the next trip to Paris even after a alternative look for. read more

Crown Plaza a very good hotel. We felt really good here. Located relatively central, it is very good for explore of the city. Station is right in front of the hotel. But beware of crowd in the metro! The money from the wallet from the shoulder bag which I feast at the body carried, stolen.
The hotel staff was always make an effort and very friendly. Small rooms, the very clean were. Great hotel for city breaks. read more

The location is great, subway right outside the door. You can get anywhere rapidly. We had taken based on the reviews to get a room on the inner courtyard, it was very quiet, the front of the hotel is a very busy street. The rooms are very tastefully equipped. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is for Paris standards very good. You can make fresh scrambled eggs or cold buffet itself. In the square in front of the hotel, there is quite a lot of restaurants. read more

Paris for good price/performance ratio, very good location with metro and bus stops in front of the door. Small room, but adequate. Everything was clean. Typical durchgangshotel. Service at breakfast was something overtaxed, the selection of breakfast rather poor. In the room-first floor, facing the street noise and vibration of the metro unfortunately to feel. The best room in higher floors require. All in all, the hotel is but to recommend, a big plus is the good location for excursions. read more

Very nice, modern hotel. Close access to underground stations, very delicious breakfast buffet. Unfortunately, there are endless corridors due to the shape of the hotel. We have the feet chafed ☺ Unfortunately, we had bad luck that our flight home because of the strike was deleted, were very lucky at the front desk of German and he has done everything conceivable to return to Germany. We were very happy but otherwise typical for France no German at the staff. read more

We liked the fact that the hotel is its great location. As we traveled there with the TGV was important to us, didn't have luggage to and trail across the city. The hotel is located only a metro stop from the Gare de l'Est. Very close to a metro station. The hotel is just a very short time with the metro everywhere. The room or the bathrooms were a little on the small side but adequate as we were not in the room anyway. The decoration of the room was new, there was nothing missing, it was also very clean. ... Although our room is located on a busy street, we slept well and the traffic noise did not find it disturbing. Only drawback: although very cold - just 5° outdoor temperature was not heated. ( Maybe because you in May not more with so cold weather translates). of our request but was quickly put up a electric FURNACE, and therefore the problem was fixed. The staff was very nice and helpful. Check-in and check-out were fast and uncomplicated. The breakfast buffet was ok, we could not find that different from other 3 -star hotel. If we return to Paris, we will definitely stay there again. read more

The hotel is in a perfect postion to Paris by metro (station directly in front of the hotel) and explored on foot. We had an executive room booked to the courtyard. That had the advantage that you could sleep with the windows open no noise. The room was newly renovated ( apart from some details: cheaper toilet seat, only-painted door frame scuffed and not thick enough, you can hear the noise in the hallway ) The bed was so comfortable, coffeemaker, minibar, basic toiletries, bathrobes, everything was there. The breakfast buffet was like in all international hotel stocked with everything ... the heart could desire, but far too many people were finishing up in the breakfast area. Coffee picked the machines, so was also a furry around. The front desk was at check-in and check-out not cope, but may have the volcanic eruption and related Any change. The hotel at least We would not hesitate to stay in Paris. read more

We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. It is stylish and modern decor. The breakfast room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The Verkehrsanbiendung is great, although it is across the street was very noisy, it wasn't disturbing, as the windows the noise. Summary: + well-equipped, modern rooms + very good breakfast buffet + central location + soundproof windows - no own parking ( next parking garage approximately 300 m for €22.50 per day) - however the indication in the internet no one spoke German read more

Hotel is located near Place de la Republique and you can conveniently located to all parts of Paris. The space is great connection very busy and although 24 hours. If you have a room facing the square you can have sleep with closed windows, at least we. We had booked breakfast, which was a continental breakfast. Rooms are relatively small, but technically everything we needed available, including flat screen TV. Bathroom was relatively small but everything was available and everything works. In the lobby there was a small hotel bar, suitable for a nightcap. To surrounding areas of the hotel ... we have tested two restaurants. To be recommended was the Chez Jenny, but only 2 minutes away from the hotel. read more

Three Monten When we booked the hotel it was Holiday Inn, now became a Crown Plaza hotel. The hotel has 328 rooms, located on four floors. It is right on the very lively Place de la Republique. Our room was on the side street, so it was very quiet. Room to Platzseite beach chairs, like a little noisy. The hotel is so highly recommended, that it is an easily accessible location. From here it goes with the metro, in all directions from Paris. The rooms are decorated in a modern style, with flat screen TV ( German ZDF and RTL ... II), internet access in the room (7 EUR per hour), a quiet air conditioner, many outlets, but with a few drawers and storage space. The bathroom was big enough, shower with shower curtain, but everything in a very good condition. In the room there was a kettle, with daily portion coffee and a fresh water bottle. To criticize was the whole service of the hotel. For the size of the hotel was the front desk, staff just understaffed. Constantly there were long lines. The room cleaning was, in spite of a very good tips, to late and inadequate. Almost all employees feature at all, not a friendly. Spoke to our time from the hotel speak English or so you speak French. Absolutely overpriced as we found the breakfast price of 25 EUR per person. However there were several restaurants and cafes in the area. For a quick meal, there was also a Mc Donalds. In conclusion, if you can hinwegschauen of some shortcomings in the service area, is in the hotel very well cared for. read more

We stayed for three nights in Paris and the hotel was for us, essentially the "which is home". The reception and breakfast area, as well as the bar are freshly renovated. Modern and attractive. The rooms have a face lift get - but just a bit chipped. The water pressure should not disturb, with a cracked rate of 425 -EUR/night! The double bed - 1 2.4 meters wide - typical French I explain. The staff tried hard, but not what afterwards - both in the reception area, but even worse in the breakfast room. Broken coffeemakers, no replenishment of ... bread and cutlery and (American-) heruntergekühlte temperatures. sweater can't forget the outside, even if it is wonderful weather. In the evenings the bar there was old bagels (perhaps from the day before) - but after a complaint were exchanged. For 10, -/each I found that was fine. Beer prices are gewöhnungsbedürfig - 0, 5l Carlsberg for over 10, - - recommendation: Very nice bars in the immediate vicinity, great direction Mareis. Thank you, a small personal hotel next time. read more
