This is a excellent hotel. It is comfortable, family, nearby the times square and the of main attractions. You can walk some steps until metro 50th / 9 st. The hotel's staff is very friendly. I went with my family and with two kids(4 and 6 old) and we approved this place. There is a convenience store at the corner of the street very useful. The big tip is that you can arrive on this hotel from JFK by metro, through line E. You must get out at metro 50th / 9st and then walking some steps until the Hotel. ... The arrival is very easy and economic read hotel review

The Belvedere Hotel is well located in Midtown with easy access to subway, Times Square. The staff was friendly The room could be a little bigger and we had a problem with the heather and it took a while for the maintenance to fix it. In general is average. read hotel review

Hotel with great location, perfect starting point for sightseeing and nightlife. Rooms are not very large, but we could live well for 4 days as a four. The bathroom is modern and technically fine. Everything in the hotel was clean. In the house there is a good breakfast for 15 Dollars, we enjoyed it every day! Times Square, Rockefeller Center are within easy walking distance, 2 subway lines in 5 minutes' walk. The hotel also has a business center, though the use costs extra. The hotel has, however, 3 weaknesses - 1. the wireless internet does not work everywhere - ... didn't matter to me, when needed I went to the business center, since there it always worked, 2. on the corridor (not in the rooms) it 'smelt', then we always held our breath, 3. there are not many elevators, you have to wait - didn't matter to me, I stayed on the 2nd floor and as a trained sportsperson always used the stairs. read hotel review

On our first visit in the USA we made the first station New York. The travel agent recommended us the Belvedere hotel, as it was supposed to be very centrally located. We were curious, and everything worked out really well. The hotel is only about 15 minutes away from Times Square. The Rockefeller Center, the Central Park, the 5th. Ave., the big Broadway theaters. Everything is within walking distance. All shopping possible on foot. Hollister, abercrombie & Fitch, Hard Rock Café, American Eagle, Aeropostale or even Super Dry. All the shopping highlights are in the immediate vicinity. Now to the ... hotel: clean, neat room with a beautiful view of the surrounding area, if you get a room on the right side. Bathroom was not large, but well equipped and clean. In the room is a small kitchen with a fridge, microwave etc., if you want to quickly make yourself something warm. We had booked the room with breakfast. This is very recommendable. Breakfast is good, plentiful and very tasty. Worth it, before the busy day trip through New York. Front desk was always friendly and helpful. In the lobby there is a concierge service. Here you can order everything, from musical tickets to the taxis. Here we bought the tickets for the hop on hop off bus. This is a great way to explore New York, with German language in the headphones on the bus. You can get on and off, where there is always something to see. Conclusion: the hotel is a perfect fit for a multiple day trip to New York. Because of the central location (subway stations are directly in the vicinity) you quickly get to the highlights of New York. And you can quickly get to a cocktail in Times Square for the end of the day. You can book the hotel blindly. Everything fits! read hotel review

The rooms are relatively large and well appointed. That what i felt in ny already very experienced differently... I had a room in the 17. floor. There is a small kitchenette with a microwave, refrigerator, sink, and coffee maker (coffee is available for free). The safe was in a small chamber building, with a door from the room corridor is separated. Here there is also a stool, to put your suitcase. The bathroom with bath is relatively small, but for a person at the time adequate. Through the long hallway in the room you couldn't hear any noise from the hallway was. For new york standards the room was very quiet, even if you from outside was always a buzz hear, but you're in the city, those never sleep...

  • Gastronomy

There was the possibility, to eat breakfast at the hotel. You can do, but you didn't have to... The breakfast room is large, and windowless. The offer in form of a buffet gets you in ny at nearly each corner for the same price and even better, tip: the Pigalle at the corner of 48./8. street.

The service is good. Problems were quickly and easily fixed. One evening my tv did not work. The mistake was the same night resolved. The hotel staff is always friendly and courteous. There was a concierge in the lobby.

For a city tour New York i can only recommend the hotel. It is very good to the center 5 minutes on foot. Disadvantage the elevator was always full and we have most used the stairs on floor 7 no large problem with 17 he is bad. The rooms are poorly soundproofed, we had a room which is only by a simple door from the next was divided. It is at other perhaps as family rooms with durchgangastür use. read hotel review

Well-kept hotel in an ideal location! Close to the Times Square (5 minutes on foot) located, but in 'quiet' side street. The size of the room (about 25 square meters) for new york standards is good. Lcd tv, safe, small kitchen, iron, and so on. Everything available. Closets offer enough space and the room cleaned daily. Unfortunately no free of charge wi-fi in the lobby available, however the next Starbucks (300 metres) to free internet not far away. read hotel review

The rooms have a good size. We were 3 girls on a room with 2 king size beds and we had sufficient space. The bathroom is not huge, but very clean and it is enough for to shower and to follow. We had a small kitchenette in the room with a fridge, microwave, sink and coffee maker, but we didn't use it. There is still the following projects: flat screen tv, closet with safe, lap desks, and plenty of storage space for clothes, bags and shoppingtaschen.

We only on the first morning in the hotel breakfast. One can between a small (bagel, toast, sausage, cheese, vegetables, fruit, jam, cream cheese, Nutella, cakes, juices) and a large (as described above only in addition scrambled eggs, fried eggs, bacon, sausage) breakfast select. I personally found it too expensive for the selection. We have then in the future in the nearby dinnern breakfast. However the staff is also here very friendly and accommodating.

Very nice new york hotel in a great location. Times Square right around the corner. There are shops enough. Also the subway-station is right nearby. Although it centrally located is, one could nevertheless your peace and feels already when you enter of the hotel very probably. There is no mass processing, as in other large new york hotel, here you still individually treated. Conclusion: top and gladly again at any time. read hotel review

I was now already in the Belvedere for the 2. time - and would all still coming New York-visit stay there again ☺ The hotel is simply great - the location is perfect for the daily sightseeing, dinner there are plenty of restaurants to eat or cocktails, Starbucks (free wi-fi; there is but also in many other restaurants and cafes in the hotel costs the daily allowance 9,95 American Dollar) is also right nearby - what else could you want?! Especially recommendable is the ' patzeria family & friends' (delicious pizzas, also to order and carry forward) and the ... mexican 'sombrero' -both right next to the hotel. read hotel review

We had a room with two double beds in the 11. floor with views of the new york city skyline - great! The room was big enough for 3 people, comfortably furnished and very clean. At the shower or bathtub and their flaws though you'll need have to get used to (low water pressure, regulation cold and hot water!) :-) There is also a small kitchenette in the room - refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker are available. Coffee with consumption constantly refilled. Also various soaps, shampoos, shower gel and lemony in the bathroom Will be refilled.

The hotel makes already from the outside a well-kept impression and you feel immediately welcome. Check-in and check-out was very quick and easy. On the day of departure can the luggage after room delivery also in the hotel to be determined and later 'definitive' departure pick you up again. The staff all were very friendly, helpful (concierge) and Accommodating-with complaints (on one day we had no towels) were handled reacted promptly and within a half hour we were the towels from a staff on our room brought.

I was now already in the Belvedere for the 2. time - and would all still coming New York-visit stay there again ☺ The hotel is simply great - the location is perfect for the daily sightseeing, dinner there are plenty of restaurants to eat or cocktails, Starbucks (free wi-fi; there is but also in many other restaurants and cafes ; in the hotel costs the daily allowance 9,95 American Dollar) is also right nearby - what else could you want?! Especially recommendable is the ' patzeria family & friends' (delicious pizzas, also to order and carry forward) and the mexican 'sombrero' -both right next to the hotel.

In 5 minutes walk you right in the middle of the Times Square, the Port Authority bus stop (buses to outlet jersey gardens) is also less than 10 minutes on foot distance and macys and the Empire State Building walk you can also very good.

Comfortable, clean perfectly located hotel to Times Square and Broadway. Our room was due to 2 queen size beds (both 1.50 meters wide ) very big. Beds (mattresses) are of magnificent quality. Never had such a great nights sleep! We would next stay in New York book here again. read hotel review

Our room was - as already described above - very big. For New York, i am told, not usual! We were on the 11. floor, on the back of the hotel accommodated, with a nice view. The heater in our room there was issued (but be turned on,). Our room was nevertheless pleasant temperature, although it was quite cold.

Optimal location, in the middle of Manhattan, in the 48. street (319 west) located. 5 minutes away from the Times Square, 5 minutes to the nearest subway station! 5. avenue and Rockefeller Center also within walking distance!
