The Hotel has everything we could ask for: two different pools (we prefered the smaller quieter one), bars, a great main restaurant. We used the tennis court every day which was great. 2 minutes walk down to the beach which is very handy. Amazing views and it seems all rooms have great views over the sea. read more

    Tennis court is very handy. There is also a little gym which you can use if you dont fancy going for a run in the amazing outdoor. Pools are great especially the smaller one around which you can find a sun bed and lay looking at the amazibg view over the sea.

Seaside Resort - Relaxing and Fantastic Holiday

My wife and I had a fantastic relaxing stay at the Seaside Resort Hotel last week (14-21 October 2012). We arrived 23:30 on Sunday evening and were efficiently checked in at the desk. The manager at the desk even had prepared sandwiches for us as they suspected that we may not have eaten. We were shown to our junior suite room which was spacious with open plan bath (jacuzzi), separate shower, safe, fridge (with drinks - restocked every 2 days with soft drinks and water - part of all inclusive deal), bath gowns and slippers. The sea view from ... our room was beautiful. We had been to other 4/5 start hotels in Corfu previously, but this is the best room that we have had. Rooms were cleaned every day. The food in the restaurant was absolutely fine for us. for lunch and evening meals there were plenty of salads/cheeses, cooked meals with variety of vegetables, meats, pasta, deserts and fruit., and outside there is a pizza oven with pizzas made to your requirements. Wine is served with lunch and evening meals. Breakfast always had the essential cereals, bacon and eggs and freshly squeezed orange juice, or you could have your own omelette made to order. You would have to be very picky if you could not find something you liked to eat. The 2 pools were well maintained and clean with poolside bars close by. Although the beach is a walk down some steps, and the sand more 'shingly' than soft sand, we stayed mainly around the hotel pool area where there were always plenty of sun beds (no need to reserve with towels when we were there). The gardens, plants, flowers and grounds of the hotel were kept clean and tidy As for the staff, we found them polite and always helpful. In fact we have to say a big thank you to Eva (Reception) Maria (Pool Bar), Dimitris (Main Bar) and the Manager Kalaitzis. On our last day, we managed to get the checkout time changed to 7pm as we had a late evevning flight - this was well worth the additional 30 Euros so that we could use the room and all inclusive facilities. In fact, the manager arranged for us to have our evening meal early, and let us know when the taxi had arrived at reception. nice touch! To summarize, it was a relaxing stay, a well maintained hotel, great location, good food, very helpful staff, and just what we needed. We would go back again! read more

The hard facts in a nutshell: Room: The double room (number 65) was really spacious and clean. Air conditioning, tv, telephone and so on have perfect functions. The shower head needed getting used to, but I think generally a problem in hotels. Soundproofing of the room was also good. The generous windows (clean) revealed a great view on the opposite coast, hotel, sea and beach. Towels without limits, room service and mini bar was also everything is great. Gastronomy: Quality a drink and food was good! Only after 23 o'clock for a Cola-Rum 5,50 Euro requires which I very ... expensive found. Beer was also good. Audience: As described very lots of guests from Russia, France and Israel. But I have stayed in this week also at least 6 different couple/ families from Germany met. Apart from that it was very pleasant not the typical mob to be found there. Everyone was polite and the use of alcohol does not lead to unpleasant shortfalls. Nevertheless came evenings nice round together-) Complex: The overall experience was really good. Everything was clean. Great construction (similar to a small village). At the one or another place could once again Deleted/renovated but it is nowhere dingy or similar Beach / sea: Difficult entrance into the sea, but it is great then after 50 meters on the massive Rocks to sit/put. Water is crystal clear! Some have also reported the snorkeling absolutely worthwhile. Other: I thought it was very pleasant at any time of the day to get a beach chair (without reservation, etc.). Nice is no disturbing plastic or similar bear to have. Airport: The airport in Heraklion was a disaster! All together: Great holiday! Gladly again! For 730€ - 1 week all inclusive was value for money is reasonable. And beautiful Brown is also still has become. read more

Who beautiful pools and a romantic bar with a great view on the steep coast estimates is in the right place here. The remote location is however a rental car very recommendable. read more

Our travel agent recommended this hotel when the one we previously booked had closed for the season. We where glad they did because for one thing it is much closer to the Airport (approx 30mins). My wife and i could not fault this Hotel in any way the staff where fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. The Restaurant was clean and very modern with a fantastic selection of food and drinks at every sitting. Also Drinks and food could be consumed any time of the day in the swimming pool area (free if fully inclusive). Lovely views from most ... rooms i think with ours having a view of swimming pool and the beach. Hair dryer +kettle +shower +bath+television with BBC world news+other channels in the room. ConclusionA well run hotel with excellent value for money. read more

We have great 9 days spend. However with very much rest and relaxation. Around the hotel around are hardly to no further possibilities for recreation. With the taxi in the next village it about 10 minutes and costs (one way ) circa 10,00 Euro very nice to the beach-promenade, unfortunately but also only a few audience. Unfortunately! We as German are very pleasant and accommodating treated. There were only a few German there, what very the locals regrets. Mostly Russians there. The cleanliness was for Greek standards very good, mountings and so on come stop always bit short in ... terms of maintenance. But you should not in the number of crumbs which ended find!-) read more

Once we had to the first night in another ( and much worse hotel) because overbooking stay. Afterwards the sea side all conceivable trouble for a nice stay -we were completely satisfied. We had booked all inclusive and were very excited by the rich and varied spreise -and offered drinks. The dishes were very good presented, fresh and delicious. The room would be cleaned daily, the air conditioning worked immaculate, the bathroom could have been a bit modern be, is however ok. The view of each point of the hotel is beautiful and balsam for the soul. We have this ... vacation very enjoyed and can recommend the hotel with a good conscience. read more

    We had a great room ( number 88). The room was big, well equipped and cleaned daily. The mini bar was every 2 days refilled for us it was ok. The view was unbelievably beautiful! The bathroom could gladly a little updating. For showering it gave unfortunately only a bath with a shower curtain - not really nice. Space to put things was unfortunately almost not available. Fortunately exactly opposite the bathroom door a cupboard, so we our bog so and the way short. Here would be 2-3 small shelves really beautiful. But overall we felt comfortable and would this room gladly again take.

    As described above there's of us only good things to say about it. Varied selection of dishes - fresh, regional fruit and vegetables ( in other words short distances!) , good presented and everything clean and tidy. The choice is a typical 5-star hotel and while it is upscale but not noble, so that something there for every taste is. Good food and good service also in the two restaurants Kulinarium and the chinese restaurant.

    The service was not only immaculate, but really very personal and great-greetings in this context Maria from the talassobar ( many thanks for all the espressos, sodas etc. - and always with a smile), the staff and staff from the main restaurant ( unfortunately we all name noticed, but almost all were extremely friendly and at the smile). Everything was always very fast and friendly. Thank you very much at the F&B -manager, the always very was interested, if everything was to unserre satisfaction expired and happy an ear to lend for improvements had. Compliment to all!

    For sport it was too warm for us, but there was a fitness room and at the pool gymnastics both in the, as well as out of the water provided. The animation was pleasant - not too much, however also not so, that bit boring. Especially the evening offer shows was very good. The pools were very often in the early morning cleaned. For the loungers there is a small point deductions, as it is not for all an edition-the is in our opinion a must for a 5 star hotel. There was at every pool 1 shower, the unfortunately somewhat off the beaten track, respectively not equal recognizable were. Unfortunately most not showered, before you in the pool cracked are. Handrails would be here in the remaining also recommendable ( slippery ) - but also this instruction has been included and should be done.

    The sea side is outside of the town agia pelagia. This could be reached about minutes ( somewhat adventurous) walkway. Daily runs 2 times a bus directly from the hotel to Heraklion. You want to other places to visit, you have to a rental car take.

Initially once it must be mentioned that, that the hotel very off the beaten track and therefore the all inclusive-program also its purpose fully met. Apart from that a hotel in altogether good condition with a great location and excellent sea view. The buchtenförmige beach is can be reached very quickly and offers especially for Schonrcheln good opportunities. The staff were always very friendly and the service always very good. Good food and & cocktails! Drawbacks are in the interior of the room to make: broken Gardinenhalterung, Toilettenhalterung (but for us not very disturbing ) apart from that very many ... beautiful pools to relax and relaxation. For all the book a suite it must be mentioned that, that apart from the hotel chairs and a community pool are provided with. Altogether there is but a very peaceful atmosphere. The evening entertainment initially is good, after some time but monotonous. read more

I was so excited about this hotel-Resort spa. Unfortunately I could only 3 days stay. There are some services -service, there I wanted to write, because I have never met. The hotel is nearby Heraklion, only minutes by car. Nevertheless only 200 meters far there is a wonderful beach. The food has very tasty! There was the possibility always to eat. The breakfast was until late and you can eat, whenever they want. The quality and the quantity the food had me a large impression made. The room has a surprising view of the see and was clean. The staff ... beach always available and was very polite. The spa I and my friend also tried and was really relaxing. Off course I recommend this hotel and in the next summer I travel again. read more

We had a great relaxing vacation... Room with a view of the sea directly on the upper pool, very quiet. Room service was always okay and also in the hotel it was always very clean! I don't know, which some guests to complain about have, we had no musty towels, dirty toilets or other! Also the food was tasty and diverse... Every evening a new issue. The entertainment team and also all other employees were very friendly, especially, if you opposite was friendly! Price-performance was more than fine! read more

The sea side resort is a quiet and extensive ferienanalagen in the north of Kreta. However outside of the town aghia pelagia. The specified 5 stars are not with German standard comparable. In our opinion, this is rather 4 + hotel. We felt during our stay in any case comfortable and 12 days enjoyed. The sea side is definitely no family hotel, but is inviting to relax and spoil a. While we were there, there were 50% of the guests from Russia and 30% from France. The remaining guests were distributed in the countries Germany, Netherlands, Poland and Greece. read more

    We had a superior room with a view of the sea booked. The room was very modern and had a superb view. The bettqualität was also good. However we had a broken in the bathroom. The shower lost water and began to use the bathroom underwater. Furthermore our toilet flush was broken and only after 5 days repaired. Otherwise the toilet seat not feast be installed, this slipped mostly to the side road. This was not satisfactory! The air conditioning cooled the room as requested down. The cleanliness and the cleaning crew fulfilled their work excellent. The mini bar with coke, Fanta and water every two days free refilled. Altogether a good quality. The bathroom had ehebliche flaws!

    The dishes had a very high quality. Both breakfast -, as well as the lunch buffet were more than upscale. Every meal tasted very tasty and the chefs cooked daily before the eyes of the guests. The dinner buffet were also first class. There were daily changing theme evenings. - of fish, to greek to gala. Each evening was wonderful, as most of the food on the ground were prepared.     The staff in the whole hotel is extremely friendly. However our defective toilet only after 5 days and repeated requests to get it repaired. The front desk did not want on my concerns eigehen. In the restaurants and at the pool bars were the service staff more than friendly and accommodating.

    The sea side resort is a quiet and extensive ferienanalagen in the north of Kreta. However outside of the town aghia pelagia. The specified 5 stars are not with German standard comparable. In our opinion, this is rather 4 + hotel. We felt during our stay in any case comfortable and 12 days enjoyed. The sea side is definitely no family hotel, but is inviting to relax and spoil a.     The hotel is outside of the town aghia pelagia. A taxi costs per way circa 10 Euro. The bay is directly at the hotel and is to be reached via stairs. The beach is gravelly and the entrance to the mediterranean sea is rather stony. Directly at the beach is water shoes for 7.- Euro to purchase. This investment is very useful. The quality of the water is clear and loads for a refreshing dip.

Super relaxing vacation! Who in the rooms 700-710 is housed, the can be congratulated. One is quite far away of the main building with main restaurant and the bars but who absolute peace searches is here perfectly accommodated. The rooms are big, peacefully located, have balcony/ terrace, open large bathroom. Also a big pool the only vacations with these room numbers used, is available. The food was varied, but often too few seasoned. Despite preseason came the service staff often with the clearing not afterwards.
