It was a great stay. Perfect it was unfortunately not, since various things gave, which i did not expected. It lacked a small map from the hotel, so what is where. The peace and quiet in this hotel was very relaxing for me. I could really take a break from everyday life. The flyer was dated and had only data from 2012 listed. The hotel masters the difference between first-class hotel and regional identity good. The bar i personally relatively uncomfortable. The music in the bar and in the restaurant was not to my taste. The chairs in the restaurant ... have a very soft seats and for me also relatively uncomfortable thus, because the sitzrahmen feel. On sunday, there was unfortunately no daily newspaper. It succeeded in a historic building with an extension an elegant hotel to be built. I return to Bamberg, so is this hotel again an option for my stay. read more

I got a double room the single-use. The mattresses on the beds were both soft, i too soft. Equally it was issued me with the pillows. For the television there was no run-down of the programs, so i again and again durchzappen had around a certain channels to find. The shower in the bathroom was sensational, as these also for heavier people, like me enough comfort to feel is. But the place for the shower went to the detriment of of the toilet from, since these very closely and a little crushed in the bathroom seemed. The mirror surface in the bath is bigger as usual. A few trouser hangers in the wardrobe were more comfort. You need during the stay an toiletries, so you had to get them at the front desk ask. It is unfortunately no list, on the stands, all of which you may receive. It would have been nice, if it was on the bed a towel would have been, so you don't on the carpet or directly in shoes enter should

For a 4 star hotel i expect at a breakfast buffet more choice or variation, because if i the hausmacherwurst wegrechne, there is only 4 types of sausage for breakfast. The cheese selection is large, but the dried slices of not taken and you know unfortunately not what type of cheese they are. The coffee tasted very good and had a pleasant size. I was really happy, that my breakfast egg desired order and not hope had, that pre-cooked eggs to my taste. On the first day i ordered myself a soft boiled egg and got a almost raw. Unfortunately, there was no staff in the restaurant to see, so i my breakfast without is finished. The waiters didin to differentiate between einzelgästen and guests, to 2. arrived. During the first day the only couples, the with me in the restaurant was again and again asked, if everything is okay, i got this question not even, and the in a closing of over 60 minutes i think no special service. With the 2. breakfast i ordered again my soft boiled eggs. And it got this time with an apology for yesterday's egg especially great served. I thought that was nice, but none came and asked for, whether the egg better cooked it is. The pieces you need to get with the fingers away, as it served windows are and no tongs is. In the sausage and in the cheese pay attention one on regional specialties when the bread is unfortunately on standards used, not times especially good are. In the bar i the drink to me and was from the cocktail menu disappointed. There were only the usual standards on the map.

At check in me positively surprised, that i my room earlier as announced could. I had to wait, as other guests checked in, but by the warm welcome was the not a problem. On demand i got great recommendations for good restaurant serving regional franconian cuisine. Unfortunately were certain things, such as when there was breakfast, i would like a massage or similar during my stay in want to take.

The location is somewhat remote, as it is at the other end of the city center from the train station from seen, is, however, in a few minutes walk to the various attractions and shopping.
