Big beautiful room with 2 queen size beds. Balcony with view of the outskirts or eilat. Location of the room very quiet. Cleanliness regarding sanitation was excellent. Mini bar available.

  • Gastronomy
    6.0

Quality and variety of the food in the evening, as well as at the breakfast buffet absolutely on 5 star level! The staff behind the counter very friendly - always gladly explains, what the respective food is. Dinner was in the open possible (Aqaba at the end of march...) - very idyllic! The beer was in the 5-star cheaper than in the nabatean castle in wadi Musa!

  • Service

Friendliness and skills first class. Rooms very clean - the bathroom as well! The staff indicated we had to do, was always friendly and tried hard, without being pushy!

Good hotel in the oriental style

It is a lovely hotel in the oriental style that makes it so interesting, the rooms are however partly already getting old which really did not disturb however. If the hotel quite full, there was a little problem for breakfast since it was very crowded and noisy, with full hotel best not later as 8 for breakfast. The beach is beautiful with many palm trees etc. Also otherwise it gives here around the pool nice, lots of palm trees and plants! The beach restaurant respectively bar is good, but of course very expensive but that's always so! Thief mini bar ... was in the room price included. Recommendation evenings in any case to Ali Baba fish restaurant go outside from the hotel ligt opposite McDonald's on the other side from the roundabout 5 minutes on foot there, there are delicious fish best with 2-3 appetizers order! Apart from that it is rather for relaxing and snorkeling Water slides etc. There is not but different water games adjacent to the beach can be booked. read more

Aqaba was the end of our wonderful Jordan trip ( Amman, Umm Qeis, Totes sea, Kerak, Petra, Wadi Rum, Aqaba). The rooms were well equipped. Point of criticism is however a missing handle the cupboard door the mini bar. Here was only a screw to grab. An Absurdity for a five-star hotel. These is however also the only right negative point. The restaurant is in the cool Retrolook decorated. We really liked. Also the food was immaculate. The hotel lies in the middle of Aqaba, the main is not directly at the beach, it leads however a wide bridge, with ... a pool, eTC. Over the street. The beach itself is quite small, but sufficient. We are every day with free bus-shuttle bus after tala Bay dangers. There had our holiday friends their accommodation in the Mövenpick Tala Bay. You can the furnishing, in other words the pool and beach, there share. Is in our opinion nicer than in the Mövenpick Aqaba. As in short to say, that this vacation all previous exceeded. Our 14 -headed group in the age between 12 and 91! Was great. Our local travel guide Marwan has all great cared. He gave us the country and people closer. Marwan, we will never forget you '! read more

I was with my husband last summer in the Hotel Mövenpick aquaba. The hotel is more or less fine, the food in the main restaurant was great, nothing to fault so far. But now it is thick: of al we one evenings of the pool on the connecting bridge hochkamen, shortly something from our room to get, we spotted the man of the evening security for everyone, as it is behind his desk sitting a group of passing female guests a runterholte! The receptionist laughed and said: ah, yes, the, the know! On the way back (about 10 minutes later) we had to go back to the same security and do not have the same done. When we returned to him were gone, turned my husband jerky back, to see what the power and: The guy was really rose, looked us afterwards and mastrubierte, just in the corner on the wall, while he directly anstarrte! The hotel is not bad, but it is right next to the main street, that means there is a lot of traffic noise and pollution. The beach is from the main building only over a long way and a closed high bridge to reach, over the busy street the hotel with the beach and the pools combines.

The hotel is located directly on the sea and on the small, sandy-beach. It was the first hotel on the Red sea, so something in the years come. The area is very spacious and the double room are all located in the rear building-you walk through the area quite to the hotel (about five minutes) beach is. The food is very good and international. Many english, Italian and Swiss guests. Hotel in need of renovation but beautiful to a few days something at the Red sea to make. read more

At the end of a compelling, perfect organised and competent guided by guide Bashir Vögele -tour by week 5.-12. January 2011 by Jordan (with 14 people from Switzerland and from Germany) we have stayed once this moevenpick resort and residence-hotel in aqaba. We were very satisfied. Satisfactory was the buffet specialities from all over the world: with chapeau! Also the swimming in the sea was very pleasant. We would highly recommend this hotel. read more

The hotel is in the years come. It is mostly and kept in oriental style. The restaurant is updated, unfortunately fits the modern design and I believe not tacky to the rest of the hotel. Our room was very worn. The decor was not a 5-star house. The bathroom was also very small and some of the tiles were damaged. The room cleaning was unfortunately also to be desired. When we arrived we still found hair from the previous guest before, this should not in the hotel standard be the case. The service is friendly and tried hard, but was ... completely overwhelmed. The food and drinks is oriented to the european taste. I personally missing more Arabic cuisine. The quality and taste of the food was OK, but not outstanding. The grounds are beautiful decorated. The pools and the beach are nice and well maintained. All in all I would visit this hotel again but not. read more

A nice hotel with lots of atmosphere except the restaurant palm Court Everything is adequate and kept in oriental style and spread charged holiday atmosphere as we were six times and are always satisfied again. The hotel was completely sold out and still is on the beach always plenty of space, at the pool something less only breakfast is to the many guests to say there are still can always find a spot! It is also only right up there in summer otherwise it was rather half full! The most beautiful time also because of the heat is in the ... spring! The dining is A good assortment of food and drinks at the buffet! In the evening you can very beautiful also between the pool and the beach in the Red sea grill restaurant à la carte food outdoors very nice atmosphere and good food! This time we had for the first time, a chalet with two room and bathrooms which was directly in the building next to the pool area beach (50m) is direction. Very spacious room with extra living and dining area, as well as small kitchen! The cleanliness and quality in the main building is better our bathrooms were but already very worn joints with poor anyway and silicone with dark stains in a five star hotel so this should not be! One is immediately at the pool or on the beach the guests in the main house must only on the bridge to the beach what hotel so far is, however, also not If you want to eat outside fish is the best way to get to the well-known restaurant Ali Baba or for a few years now also to Floka in the street behind the hotel is both have great food also not fish! Our children have Schnitzel (Escalope) eaten! read more

It is a large hotel which is very well located. You can be reached within a few minutes of shops and restaurants. The beach is over a bridge, which didn't bother at all but not. The beach itself is bad, as it is restricted by the left and on the right other hotel complexes or the port. Also you can not swim out, as the boat traffic around the harbor is very high. Because of the beach you must go not, but for a few days to relax after a trip it is fine. The sand is good and it ... has many beach chairs and a great pool. The food is great! The cooks were super nice and do everything to make you happy is. I have rarely seen such a buffet. The only negative was the evening entertainment which unfortunately all five days one and the same was. When ending a trip is it a good hotel. But not for 'pure' seaside holiday, since the beach would be to small and cramped into the sea '. read more
