Very quiet family hotel in a great location. Mixed clientele (young families, couple between 25 and 60). Extremly friendly host, try, the guest the wishes from the eyes. To the winter sports region 'postwiesen' one runs about 10 minutes and can therefore the car let stand. Spacious room with beautiful bath. Small, but fine breakfast buffet and very good evening service. Tip : definitely the cakes in the afternoon test! read more

We have with our mother/mother-in-law and our dog over the christmas holidays a very pleasant time at the astenrose in Winterberg and we could take this opportunity to the very good cuisine of the hotel detailed knowledge. The owners, as well as the complete staff the astenrose us at any time attentive and helpful treated. The atmosphere on christmas eve in the restaurant - formal yet relaxed-us especially good pleased. We can the astenrose definitely recommendable and will definitely in the summer go back again. read more

Small but fine hotel with great service and wonderful food. The junior suite with great view was beautiful and very clean. Also the bathroom with a huge shower was perfect. Since this hotel many rooms has, is each guest really was still a king. It was really a dream in the cosy restaurant lovingly set tables wonderfully prepared menus to enjoy. In short: it was a perfect break to force for the final spurt to the end of the year to draw. Really recommendable! read more

A very cosy small hotel with a certain individual style. An oasis suitable for those in search of peace and nature. Good to very good kitchen, good wines, price performance ratio fits! Nice service and gracious hosts. However one experiences rather unpleasant circumstances, if one out very personal reasons can travel. There one pays, no matter wether you already often guest was. So necessarily a reiserücktritt complete. read more

The hotel is dedication by the owners run. Couple kirschbaum- schwindt was extremely helpful with all small questions and special requests. The breakfast has been lovingly and with fresh and qualitatively very high-quality cold cuts, cheese and salmon, and was in my opinion nothing to be desired. The only shortcoming is the small sauna area, but for 2-4 people at the moment it is great. Our room was with warm shades of red and the view from the window on the green slope was lovely. The 'kahler asten' is in a trice by a climb right behind the house to ... reach, and beautiful hiking trails, the mr schwindt us very helpful said, start right behind the house. read more

We spent the turn of the year 2012/13 family kirschbaum- schwind and felt very comfortable. The couple kirschbaum- schwind and the staff are very courteous and friendly and very helpful, the guests each desire from the eyes. We had a suite on the dream view-floor and loved it. The suite was approximately 40 meters² large and beautifully decorated. Even a stressless -chair was available. The bathroom was very big, approximately 8 meters², the shower is about 1 meters 1.50 meters large. Under the rain shower was wonderfully relax.
In puncto cleanliness there was nothing to complain about.
Also the ... food was very excellent. We were with 4-course menus and new year's eve with a 6-course menu
Conclusion we can really recommend this hotel and were certainly not there for the last time. read more

It was very pleasant stay. The daily changing dinner (half board) were an absolute treat. The staff's hospitality was exemplary. The service in the restaurant was always discreet but will be charged as, when you needed her. read more

We stayed over christmas at the astenrose and were very satisfied. Holy night very easy going and personally by the owners designed. The rooms are tastefully furnished and comfortable. The beds are of good quality. Everything is clean and in good condition.
The service staff was very friendly and competent. The cuisine is excellent.
A family hotel, that you very good recommend. read more

A very recommendable hotel with very nice atmosphere and very good personal service! The rooms are very tastefully and lovingly furnished. The location is very especially, with immediate view to the kahlen asten and its exclusive residential area and nevertheless good reception. Winterberg is itself to reach on foot, by car in 7 minutes the hotel is excellent to turn off, feast and hiking and for all the a time out want in the beautiful Hochsauerland! read more

The hotel was recently renovated. But it is from the outside first a messy impression. Chairs, tables, cushions and so on couches around. From the inside it is a mixture of old and new. The dining room, with the central fireplace is the ' highlight ' of the hotel.
Internet connection was impossible to produce. (although i very much with the computer work, it was not possible for me) the clientele seemed snobby and rather at the set age. read more

This beautifully on the mountain kahler asten in about 800 meters, hotel features modern and comfortable room with up to 50 meters² size.
The location, the view and the warmth and friendliness of the
Staff and the owner-couples are unique. The cleanliness the entire hotel ( approximately 15 rooms) is great. The guest structure is mixed. read more

With a clear conscience you can this country hotel recommend it! We were definitely not there for the last time. :-)
Particular emphasis should be on the excellent kitchen and the always friendly, informal atmosphere. We were there for the first time and felt immediately at home. A very quiet, pleasant hotel, ideal to relax and relax.
