For a short stay in Munich is the Bristol one under lots of hotels. Unfortunately the staff's hospitality at the front desk and for breakfast much to be desired. Motto: be glad, that you with us a room haste. Breakfast is not recommendable, better in the nachbarcafé Mozart. Also the general state of the hotel already getting old. Room is small and practically furnished. On demand you get a free code for wi-fi. There are all sorts of guests there. Unfortunately too few parking in the hotel available, so that you the hotel located opposite reference. Here you have 20 ... € per day plan. read more

We were very positively surprised from the large, beautiful family room in spite of the reasonable offer! The lobby was not very inviting, but room and breakfast exceeded our expectations by far. The bathroom was large and functional, everything was clean. read more

The Hotel Bristol was for a Munich-city journey ideally! Directly at the sendlinger gate with the metro- and tram was in maximum 3 minutes at the stachus or in the main station! A very clean hotel! My single room was relatively big with a nice and clean bath. The friendliness of the staff was excellent! All special requests were immediately and with a smile fulfilled. The value for money is really good! The best at the hotel but it was the breakfast. Can some 4 and five star hotel could learn a lot! I can not at all everything to ... enumerate, what to eat-everything looks but just itself purely! In short: really recommendable! read more

Very bad experience with the housekeeping staff. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Torn Curtains, Roll Aden Belt torn down, penetrating odor by means of so-called odor chopsticks. Not made clean glasses and a bottle water had to be paid in error filled up. read more

Service with the breakfast left a lot to be desired. The buffet is only refilled, if guests subsequently issues. On the first day there was no black tea, on the third day there was no milk from 9:45 A.M.. The breakfast staff seemed overstrained. Tables were only slowly again set. It was one of the smallest double room, which i've ever seen and also the bathroom was tiny.
The rooms are poorly soundproofed. Between our room and the elevator there was still 2 further rooms, you could still the whole night the elevator up and down hear. Generally one has really all the noises of neighbors heard, even if the tap turned on was. To be sure, our neighbor at 7 o'clock shower in the morning, so that we were waked.
The breakfast was ok for the price, only was the room for the number of guests way too small. ...
In Munich there is guaranteed better hotels. read more

In my opinion, the ideal for a stay in Munich hotel. Right on the metro BHF sendlinger tor (= a station Hbhf or marienplatz; ideal location for shopping or downtown). Clean, friendly. Breakfast buffet absolutely fine-I missed it for nothing. Friendly staff both at the reception as also at breakfast. On foreign language skills or the alleged narrow parking garage I can't say anything about lack of experience. The only tiny ter lack: no mini bar on the room, only three bottles of water or similar on the desk (but really only minimal ter lack). Recommended. Price/performance ratio was top ..., I again. read more

Located in a quiet side street, close to the sendlinger gate, great central location for wandering on foot. The price/performance ratio was absolutely right. The breakfast is not very wide, but everything you need. The breakfast room is tiny, the body with other guests hard to avoid. At peak times you should bring patience. If you don't have a mini, golf or Polo drives, you should definitely stay away the underground, given that nine euro not cheap. The staff was not rude, but the friendliness was kept within limits. read more

It was a good and rich breakfast. The room including bathroom super clean. Very friendly and competent staff.
If you have a large car has, you should definitely avoid the Tifgarage. To close for vehicles on the other side of the Gulf!
Furthermore, with 9, -vastly overpriced.

As bad as some of the review here, it is not. However, it is not a hotel, I would stay longer voluntarily. If you just need a place to stay for one night, it is my opinion.
The much-criticised breakfast restaurant was okay. Also very pleasant and newly decorated. Breakfast was good (already ate much worse).
In the hallways to the rooms smelled it (musty) strange, but is no miracle, since there is no possibility to fresh air (no window, no ventilation, etc.,). The rooms are clean, but (for whatever reason) somewhat dirty. The bed was okay and you ... could sleep well on it. In particular, it was on the back quiet at night even with the window open.
Overall the hotel is from the reception area, breakfast area and the furnishings in addition, quite old. The windows and doors seem from the 70er. I think the hotel is not up-to-date (new windows, new rooms paint, new Teppicht, modern look and ventilation system would have to be).
But if you only need a night, is surely nothing wrong. In particular, it is also free Internet access.
PS: the 'fun' underground parking was not used. read more

For a city trip the hotel is ideal, as you from the sendlinger tor (1 minutes to foot) with the underground within a few minutes in the center is.
The dining room is unfortunately much to small. If you like an hour longer sleeps, must also have been on a wait to be seated.

Inexpensive but good hotel in a quiet side street. The rooms and the breakfast room are attractive equipped. The choice of breakfast buffets is plentiful and delicious. The hotel completely corresponded to the description. Perfect location close to downtown, shopping, etc. price/performance ratio to recommend also for members of patients from the Isar clinic. This is in two minutes walk to reach.
The room are big enough-I even had a balcony. Despite city Center situation is the hotel in a very quiet location.
The breakfast buffet is sufficient and nothing to complain about. it nothing.
People the on this hotel, then probably also the people, the beach was not in a position to give you the time of day and the very friendly staff also not necessarily ... motivate.
Me has it fallen and I will certainly stay and not only just at a next Munich-visit explicitly choose this hotel. read more

We spent three nights in this hotel. Since we were here only to sleep in the hotel anyway, the situation was still quite acceptable, if we also in the morning to eight hours to sleep in. But the construction site next to the hotel was a night's sleep up to a maximum of seven hours. Also, the hotel is surrounded by the front.
Our room was quite small but adequate. Unfortunately no refrigerator and safe, but with an LCD tv. The bathroom was rather small and lacked storage space.
The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, the rooms ... were cleaned to our satisfaction.
The breakfast room is very cramped, already somewhat habituation needy for what a star hotel.
Oh the thing with the parking garage, once you get down and has blocked, you are really glad if everything is. We left our car (combi) then to stand, but on the day of departure you must somehow again. Only a few cars previously had left the parking garage, otherwise it would probably didn't work. Please look at the situation.
Bottom line: if the construction is not this would be a very nice hotel, centrally located and with the best traffic connections. read more

I visited the hotel Bristol several times in the past few years. I think it is one of the best city hotels with a very good price/performance ratio. Good points are, inter alia: LCD flat screen tv, new furniture and renovated rooms, free wireless and wired internet access in all rooms, very good location on the edge of the München Altstadt, friendly and competent staff at the front desk.
Cons: the breakfast room is clearly too small! The windows, the area in the past have been a little more wide with slide and the room seemed glued it restrained. The ... quality of the breakfast buffet has declined significantly. A Shame! In the past this has been a major strength of this hotel. read more
