The Gran Hotel Bali is currently the tallest hotel in europe and has 775 rooms. It is from the year 2002 and is in a good condition. We had booked half board, but it was also universe inclusive are possible. Wireless internet was only for a fee in the hall and in the lower of the two houses on the rooms, in the high-rise unfortunately not. The guests came mostly from Spain (seniors) and from the uk.     The room lay in the 32. floor and for us was the holiday highlight. It was in the main building (house ii) and was furnished with balcony. The view from the balcony (sun in the morning) was simply breathtaking. The whole skyline is benidorms lies in front of you and the views open up across the wide sea. The sunsets were wonderful. The room was equipped with two large beds and a rollaway bed equipped. It had a desk and a chair, a fridge (without contents, so our drinks in had plenty of space), a big closet, a nice bathroom with large mirror, hair dryer and separated, through a glass double doors toilet and bathtub (with shower). The balcony was with two chairs and a table, a small device to hang up clothes was available. Tv was also there, we had RTL Austria.

    We had half board. Breakfast could not be better (just my Nutella was missing, but the had i of home carried forward). Otherwise everything was there: bread rolls, toast, bread, muesli, corn flakes, a full english breakfast, all kinds of fruits, juices from the machine (were not so tasty, but ok), coffee, cocoa. Actually lacks nothing and the quality was very good. With dinner it was similar. In the 10 days were particularly the weekends very good the food was, under the week there was some days a little variation. But the quality was great and the food was always warm. Every night you could chips, all kinds of salad supplements, katroffelsalat, noddle salad, noodles with different sauces, soups, meat, fish, vegetables and always delicious desserts. We found it good, that the ice in cups packaged was. Each day gave it to wackelpudding, vanilla or sticky toffee pudding and various cakes. Drinks picked up at the wet bar. We liked. You paid with hotel, you got 15% discount on the drinks. We had luck and have every evening in the restaurant on the reception level offering eaten. Only on the last night we had to in the basement food, as the other restaurant for the off-season was closed. It was not as nice as above, since there are here really full and is very loud.

    At the reception all were always very friendly. The waiters in the restaurant were mostly very seriously and reserved. Further meetings with staff we had not. All spoke english (german we didn't have tried). The room cleaning was in order.

    The pool area is large, but with a lot of concrete and little green not particularly inviting. But the pool was large and with sprudelanlagen equipped. Really good! The beach chairs were (at least in november) adequate. Unfortunately, at various places by the skyscrapers in the course of the day in the shade.

    The hotel is located on the outer southern border of benidorm, circa 300-400 metres from the beach. The city center could be reached in a walk of about 30 minutes (quickly) and/or 40 minutes (comfortable). The hotel is in the direction of the sea by a beautiful villensiedlung on the hill surrounded. In the other direction dominate single skyscrapers. The beach is beautiful, with palmengruppen, clear water and not so crowded as in the city centre. The bay of finestrat is only a few minutes walk away and you are not great at the coast walk. Here there were only forest, cliffs and famous and thriving night water. Around the hotel there were only a few bars, so not convenient for night owls. The bus stop right out of the hotel and after a few meters you can in the 2 or 3 in the center enter (the 2 runs to the other end of the beach of benidorm, the 3a to the bus station, each single fare costs 1,50 Euro per person) , or in the 16, a great ride in the famous mountain village of guadalest to make (costs per person. 7,50 Euro back and forth and drives only 1 time daily). The transfer to the airport took about 45 minutes.

The hotel was very poor in quality, mold and damaged furniture in the rooms. It smells very old and old people. The hotel is only for seniors.     The waiters are very unfriendly and hardly any english. The room service you can just forget as well as the spa. It smelled only after chlorine and sees also not especially from.

The foyer of the hotel is very impressive. It is clean, very modern and large and beautifully decorated. The check-in but the letdown. The counter is dirty, totally worn out and makes a bad impression. On my room on the 26. floor there was a double bed, a sofa bed, a small balcony and a bathroom. Really i was surprised about, like a fairly new hotel so worn can be. Everywhere dirt, broken parts, scratches in cabinets and furniture. In the bathroom, it smelled of mold, this was to many joints, partly with extreme infestation. The highlight was the shower ... head, the containment of duschschlauchs was torn down, everywhere sharp wire (see photos). I have 2 times the finger at showering cut. The hose was of course not replaced and was already with my respect so broken. Dangerous and not understandable for a 4 star hotel. Also the food is terrible. I thought, that the other reviews too were. In 2 large halls with really extreme noise and without view after outside the buffets offered. The food is from billigster quality and really can't convince. Everything drenched in fat. Relatively good worked however the all-inclusive supply. The staff at the bars were fast and friendly. The pool area is also neat and tidy, however regarding the atmosphere not nice. A lot of concrete in the back yard. The beach of the hotel is but quickly reached and really nice and not too crowded. Unfortunately i was from the hotel more promised, recommend i do not. read hotel review

    Is for this price alright. Very clean. Equipment a bit outdated. The water for showering is very sparse from the shower head.

    Huge dining rooms and as a industriekantine. After 2-3 days one has enough. It tasted everything right and everything adjusted to the british guests. There was not 1 time reiss. You can eat as much as you want. Service staff rather nice but very inconsiderate. You have to the noise from klirrenden plates and cutlery again. The dishes winnebagoes herumgeschmissen, a deafening noise. Drinks are very cheap: for example: 1 bottle (7 dl) riocha for 5,90 Euro or house wine for 4,90 Euro.

    The hotel isn't directly at the beach but in 3-5 minutes in walking distance. Beach is very nice and very fine sand.

Shabby popular tourist area with very cold atmosphere because of the many marbles. Posters and information stand is possible without system somehow distributed. Then one sees so posters as' Xbox 360', yes what, to borrow, there is in the rooms which. I don't know until today not. And no, it was just not a microsoft congress. To another vacationer to quote, the hotel has the flair of train station. Meet perfectly. On the elevators one waited for hours. There are 43 floors and I have stayed in many metropolis the world, there are a few 'ultra' - hochgeschwindigkeitslifte, a few ... lifts the for example only the 20.-43rd Floor drive. In this hotel there is only one thing-no system such as the lifts drive. The 2 panoramalifte glass are mostly out of business because of strong wind. The people understand also not, that with a lift for 9 people is authorized not 12 drive for overalloc. Normally I the other guests no matter, I which do not talk. Guest structure: mainly british and spanish guests. And 90% at age 65 +. The british were not so disturbing, but the spanish were loud and übergedreht and have one with an obvious on spanish angeplappert, as if there were no other languages and nationalities on this world respectively in this hotel there. My most important sentence in the week was (and is certainly not): non espanol. Are you puzzled as, they have at least with my question 'do you speak English' languages. I can but not easy to other guests again, because I ask you something and on German to speak with you.     Run-down. More would I usually do not write. The hotel is 10-years-old, and so run-down, this is really a crazy. Full popular tourist area, since any week who other, the main thing was that the money is coming from, but on furniture or renovations is not watching. At least for southern standards, very clean. Even if the instruction upon arrival, the toilet sterilized is, surely a joke is. Apart from that it does its purpose, small balcony for sit outside. Unfortunately only a German speaking television channel... And that is not exactly the best.

    Really good at least, that the hygiene of the offered food must fit. Even ' dangerous' dishes such as seafood or washed salad (, because chlorinated water) have nothing salemp, no bellyache no diarrhea. There are 2 restaurants a on the ground floor and a in the basement. Definitely in the restaurant in the basement-view it doesn't-but you didn't have such a massenfütterungsatmosphäre. In the restaurant on the ground floor, there is the kitchen staff the refilling in the shabbiest clothes there and wait bored on their use. The guests are also very rude, you grab the nachfülltablett of the kitchen staff something down... I have the whole as raubtierfütterung luguru. In a cellar restaurant one has this atmosphere not, the kitchen staff is clean and is not around. The waiters are unfortunately exactly inattentive, are bored around, gossip together, often piled up 4-5 plates to once again who clearing comes. What disturbed me very much, because inconvenient, it's not possible the beverages (btw sb ) to the room book leave. All bar pay immediately, but are the prices very, very low, 0.5 liters mineral water 1.25 Euro... This is good. Yes there is allegedly a possibility, as you to the room can book, you enabled somehow your room key as credit card and book a amount dorthinauf. But, because the front desk so unfriendly and not helpful, I not at all asked. The tables are carelessly set up, everyone has a table set (so a small stoffding ), the table itself has no table cloth. Also the glasses mismatch, only wine glasses at the table, no drink -glasses etc. And there are not even all the same wine glasses, it is very mixed between red and weißweingläsern. Eat it enough, it changes also always good, but it was just a lot of deep-fried, much fried and if not fried with very much oil or fat prepared. But there are a lot of fresh fruits and a massive salad bar. The labelling of the food leaves much to be desired. There are things from the spanish untranslated into English ( for example clear soup, is available exclusively on spanish as... Something consommee is frankly, I cannot even make out), often is the card with the wrong food ( blätterteigecken with cheese scolloped are rather a pseudo -pizza and no lasagne and not any vegetables-sticks if meat inside?) All together, bad inattentive service and food, that mass is laid out. , nothing special thereby, no local kitchen, the highest of emotions was once a Paella, but it was good.

    The only really friendly staff were the cleaning crew. Front desk employees are unattentive, rude and slow. At the check-in you get his card with a small folder, it is shown where the elevator and where the restaurants are and wiederschauen. No question like the arrival was, or welcome blah blah blah...     From the in the hotel offered animation ( the interested me not, but nevertheless) I didn't notice. There is a games room with pool etc. , but since I was not inside. Loungers at the pool are mixed, a few new a few old. The chair pillows are all old and filthy, umbrella there are too few. There are 2 pools... Actually 3, but I have never swim seen, also looks rather more to honor from. In the evening always music and show, that was nice, there were often really good band thereby, you of course from the room also with listening to. The beach is really nice, no seaweed no trash. That some smokers to today yet not understand, that cigarettes in the sand not so quickly decompose and you maybe a ashtray from foil or a bottle or box can use, that is unfortunately so. Apart from that really clean, for a beach chair 4 Euro for a umbrella 4 Euro. What I also fascinated, there is a massive offer for old and disabled, even own ' schwimmbote ' around with them a little into the water to drive. Showers fun way I not a single discovered, but upmarket perfect clean.

    Very peaceful location. To the beach it are only approximately 200 meters (7 minutes ) on foot or for the lazy a station by bus. In 50 meters distance is a pharmacy and a supermarket. At the way to the beach some snack bars and touristenramschläden.

Good for seniors but bad for singles! Tourists and staff spoke exclusively Spanish! Cleaning lady comes at 9:30 o'clock past> you have to at this time the room leave! Was in june with my friends for 5 days in benidorm. On the way there i thought that this was a dream vacation because of the entrance and the size of the hotel is. But the light clouds; staff very rude (spoke no german and english, but only spanish ), the room was in very bad condition and dirty, the cleaning lady who daily at 09:00 o'clock to deseams came, cleaned very bad, the food was very fatty and always the same choice. In the hotel were only seniors represented and the evening program was repeated from day to ... day. This was not a holiday, but a nightmare read hotel review

The hotel is very impressively. The staff at the reception was very rude, with the exception of a coworker in our check in we got a room in the newer building on the fifth floor., although we our tour operator the guarantee had a room, whether the 30th floor. After a complaint we got. Wonderful view! Very beautiful room with cool bathroom. The cleaning ladies were in comparison to other staff always very friendly! The lady which and the first room gave, we were also not advised of this fact, that you put your room card to load money and ... such the beverages with 15% discount can refer. It is worthwhile with the map pay instead of cash. The food was the horror! It is mainly on the English aligned fries, fried bread and white beans already in the morning. The remaining meal times also saw no better. Unfortunately we had booked full board. The desserts were mostly delicious and the selection of yogurt was OK the rest was bad. There are two dining rooms, one is in the basement without window, you feel like in a bunker. The second is on the ground floor where you, if you're lucky also after outside see. Pool bar with rude staff. Tables were always dirty and sticky. The pools saw on the first glance oK if however the wind 100 plastic cup, waste and pool chairs in the pool blowing, eliminated the nobody the next morning not. Directly at the hotel it has a large supermarket., as well as a few bars and cafes. Nearby is the shopping center la Marina. For shoppaholics recommendable nonetheless! The connections into town benidorm are OK one pays for a way 1. 40 Euro. The beach poniente is something quiet however line here numerous restaurants and cafés of the promenade. At the beach levante the post clearly more. It has significantly more people and there is general more business. The beaches are both beautifully. Light sand, no waste, slightly sloping with crystal clear water. Really great! On the whole was the vacation oK if someone healthy and good food worthy, definitely not full board. Very beautiful hotel with much Spanish, but we hotel very good and we will be back. Everything in the NeHe, size hotel. Over 800 centimeters, sahl dish 1440 capacity but always clean Tables were cleared immediately, just great read hotel review

there are plenty of reviews for this hotel. We can say nothing bad about this hotel. You should, you should at least English German nobody reacted. There were a lot of older people mostly Spanish, there former. Beach chairs by the pool sufficiently available. Room cleaning without complaints. We had a room with a balcony on the 20. Floor of the tower-great view. Food: there was something for everyone, we had to criticize nothing. Find other people certainly always something to complain about at the food. For a short vacation (we stayed five days) it was fine-should have been seen ... once. Walk to the beach (street) about 15 minutes downhill, back then of course a bit harder, because uphill. Once again: If you book you should at least English, with Spanish of course you will also have no problems at all. read hotel review

Nice hotel, with great views from the terrace and from the rooms. Large lobby with a small boutique. Decent pool area, the evening with live music. Rooms are for 2 persons ok. Distance to the beach about 10 minutes selection of the meals quite large, unfortunately not always to our taste. read hotel review

The food was not so great, but after two days you get used to it, there was always the same anyway. Pool party every night with loud music. Also in the restaurant daily.-28 floor (. the children could sleep only bad. The elevators were constantly in the overload the wicked external constantly broken. Air conditioning in the room was great, the view from the 28 also great. including would recommend I do not. The way to the beach. well movement does not harm. Benidorm is a wicked city weather. TERa Mitica the dolphins and are a must. As a ... spoiled German would have been only three stars. the fourth intended for the size of the hotel. read hotel review

Great view & wonderful sandy beach nearby. 10 minutes to the beach. Most staff members spoke English. The larger building has 43 floors, as a hotel guest you can for 1 euro the observation deck at the top visit. The food was mainly on the English visitor voting. read hotel review

Due to a few details then: so it was despite heavy load of the hotel possible without a problem, for a fee of 30 Euro a 'late check-out' to book, so you can, if the flight was not until in the evening goes, the room until 17 o'clock use-so you can almost a 'complete' day to spend. Costs, is however very convenient. The breakfast was acceptable - even if the warm buffet was always cold. Half board is not recommendable. The food is very just and the cleanliness the plates and besteckes really leaves to be desired (as already several ... times mentioned in other reviews). The way to the beach is somewhat mountainous, but stairs are not overcome. Away to the beach good 5 minutes-back because of the ascent a bit more. The beach an absolute dream. Could not be better. Chairs on the beach cost 4 Euro for one day, an umbrella also. Parking in the town is very problematic-often for a long time search for a parking space for every day and night. All in all recommendable nonetheless - but only with overnight accomodation/breakfast! read hotel review

We were very satisfied with all. If you want to have vacation in gran Bali makes should not forget, however, that in this region of spain very many british people have a vacation. Our stay was very satisfactory, but without english knowledge is the communication very difficult. What we also noticed, that you as all inclusive guest always at the bar at long queues line up must and as bezahlgast always the same was served.
