Not in the winter! A shame. I can only recommend this hotel. By the size and cleanliness of the room I was pleasantly surprised. The breakfast was plentiful, the coffee was not stunning. Dinner was very good and there were alternating buffet and 3-course menu. With the 3-course menu you could between 3 appetizer, main courses and 3 desserts. Since I had a diving vacation to spend wanted me leisure offers not interested. Directly next to the hotel was a diving center the very recommendable for Tauchtouristen is. read more

    We had a double room with a sea view. ( number 661/6 floor) Nice large, decent bed ( no back pain ) armchair, table, desk with chair, tv with 3 German programs and large wardrobe. Small bathroom with a bath and shower. Mini bar, kettle, air conditioning and balcony. On a wall was a spot where color stretches abbröckelte' apart from that the room was in top condition. Whoever open window sleep should a room without view of the sea book. It is very nice noisy from the port and from the street ago. But the port/ view of the sea is evenings off course great.

The pool of the hotel is in the 4th floor, great location, magnificent view, enough chairs, pool large and clean. ... The hotel bar is on the terrace of the hotel, really good choice, friendly staff, value for money ok, great view over the harbor from the terrace from. From the hotel are within various bars and very good restaurants in 5 minutes reachable. Breakfast in the hotel is great. Is very centrally located and perfect for excursions on Gozo. Hotel offers daily free shuttles to and from beaches or to Victoria ( capital of Gozo). The hotel is absolutely recommendable!     We had a standard -room in the oldest part of the new building (there is almost the building, a new building, a new-new building and now the new-new new building built), The room was great large, well equipped, large king beds, there was a mini bar. There restaurant and roof terrace when fully booked business a bit too small it's worth it on time at o'clock to eat to go, otherwise there may be up to 15 minutes wait until a table assigned gets. Breakfast: Typical international breakfast, something for everyone. Price: The bar price are really very human for a four-star hotel. Alcoholic cocktails 6 Euro Soft cocktails 3,25 Euro So comparable to German prices really cheap. As mentioned food was always great! To the buffet on the roof terrace played music.

    The hotel is from the port ( ferry ) to reach on foot. Bus stops are in the immediate area. By bus you can the island great explore. From the hotel you had a direct view of the port. The one the harbor apparently well insulated, I can't confirm. Our room was directly on the street side, was nevertheless quiet enough. A beach ( beautiful lonely bay ) is on foot half an hour away, a other beautiful sandy beach ( ramla bay ) by bus about 20 minutes from the island can one with the large ferry to Malta or by private providers to island Como drive. Gozo was far beautiful. If you are looking for a pure beach vacation to make, is in the wrong place here, although the bus connections really great are. Good hotel where Gozo lovers, have never had such good dinner like in this hotel, alternating menu and buffet on the roof terrace with breathtaking views of the harbor village mgarr, Breakfast it repeated itself always, but that is nevertheless ok., service is super in all areas! Rooms are big and spacious, the best with a terrace book! ( before mail to the hotel send, but possibly upgrade costs) The road in front of the hotel didn't bother us really, but it is the bus station almost directly in front of the hotel and there were all attractions easily accessible ... by the's bus network to reach! Nice hotel ( diving vacation) 3. to visit Gozo this time in Grand Hotel. Very friendly staff there you feel comfortable. I had a double room for single use For breakfast you had a view of the port and the sea and the area is pleasant t temperature. Pool with fresh water and chairs and covers. 3 hours Wi-Fi per day included Shops - supermarket is in 300 meters distance. Cheap transport is the bus ( day ticket 2.60-) I can only recommend. read more

The food has always tasted very good for us. The dishes were very lovingly arranged. The staff very friendly and always made an effort. To the beach one comes with small busses from the hotel, but it's better, if you a rental car or moped has, as you are quite independent from the time. Very enjoyed the dinner on of the hotel roof terrace enjoyed it, although it was a bit windy. Also is very nice the live music at the evenings buffet. The view of the port was also very nice. Was handicap friendly I think not correctly expressed ... friendly would be safe, but the hotel is because of the many winding course not really for wheelchairs and so suitable. The winding hallways make it but also again comfortable. read more

Very beautiful hotel, friendly staff. Our rooms - 653 - balcony with a view of the sea. View of the sea recommendable! Bus station cCA. 200 meters, day ticket per person 2,60 Euro ( June 2012) direction Victoria Trip to Comino - blue lagoon can at the port book directly. 12€ for 2 people there and back. read more

Beautiful old well-maintained hotel with pool on the roof. The building is ok, there is a lobby, bar and a restaurant with a terrace, the views over the harbor and Malta permitted. The breakfast buffet is extensive and good. Evenings there was buffet or menüservice, the dishes were good, but it lacks mediterranean Touch, you can tell the british past. The rooms are clean and tidy and with everything that you need equipped. There will be a shuttle service to different places offered. read more

It is a good hotel, for Maltese standards certainly the concept of ' Grand -hotels' well deserved. The superior room was very good equipped, is however also in the newer area of the hotel. Next to the facilities you can enjoy the view of the harbor only recommend: it was great for an evening on the balcony to sit and to enjoy the views. Close proximity to port has however the disadvantage, that Fähranlegezeiten (about every 30 minutes) a fair noise by the arriving cars heraufschallt. The breakfast is OK, however the dinner ( had half board) rather poor (which ... is always this rippled salad on each main course?). At the front desk I felt the young lady was very in good hands: with the demand with a rental car company she's affairs very good for me taken care of. For a repeated stay on Gozo I would however rather for another hotel plead, since I like to see more into the inland would like to conclude with a little more peace. read more
