As already lots of people have described, is the medium sized hotel split. On the beach-side is a pool, a restaurant and large family suites, and the lobby. Then comes the road and the rest of the rooms, nor a pool and another restaurant. Even the smallest rooms are very big (52 square meter), the family suites have several rooms (135 square meter) and balcony. In the hotel there are a lot of german guests, some englishmen, australians, chinese (or japer?), italians, french and russians from beginning 20 until about 60. children we have very few and only small. By ... the pool there is free wi-fi (in the rooms you have to pay). The complex seemed well-kept and is nicely green and with small ponds. The hotel attracts but very in the length. When you a room in the rear area, already runs one a piece of to the beach. read more

    The rooms are huge. We were lucky and upgraded a family room on the beach-page. The furnishing has the best days already behind itself, it is however everything available (safe, minibar, tv, air conditioner, hair dryer and so on) in addition you got on the day 2 bottles of water free of charge. The rooms are unfortunately only superficially cleaned, but there are always enough fresh towels available.

    The american breakfast buffet is big, but unfortunately any good quality. The food only on direct request refilled and the employees at the egg station sleep almost a working. Sausage and cheese sweating despite ice surface strong and see fast unappetizing. Who sausages and bacon like will love it. Who rather (i) to be a bit more fresh like, is not be happy. In the afternoon and we have not in the hotel eaten. For lunch you should definitely at the beach from the fruit seller get a bit. They are everywhere and have roasted corn cobs, pineapple, mango, bananas and coconuts are very cheap on. There is also ice cream salesman.     The pools are big and clean. Beach chairs you get but unfortunately almost no. Morning 9 hours no chairs more at the beach available, short time later also the pools fully. That is really impossible. You lay like stringed and it is still not enough. Towels are available. The beach is the sandbar really great, unfortunately it but at low tide not cleaned. In the neighboring hotel the algae is far away and one can much nicer into the water go. There is entertainment no. Evenings there were sometimes at the restaurant a band. For entertainment, you should to Chaweng. There, there are clubs, bars and street markets.

    The hotel is located at northernmost end of the Chaweng jaunts and is thus not in the middle in the hustle and bustle. Within walking distance there are some restaurants - %blank% at the beach, as well as on the street, as well as supermarkets, taxi and travel agents for the excursions. The airport isn't far away - a taxi costs circa 10 Euro, of the hotel shuttle is convenient. The kandaburi is directly at a huge sandbank and you can almost miles in the warm water walk around. To Chaweng one runs about minutes.

We have this hotel after a hectic week in Bangkok for relaxation booked. There are two categories once the hillside and the beachside. We did this with the book not respected and a room in the hillside get. If i have the choice, i would prefer a room on the beachside have, because there the pool larger and one right on the beach and it is but a few steps from the hillside to run are (not so great with the heat). read more

    The size of the room was perfect. The bathroom is incredibly large. The bed is very comfortable. The furniture are already a bit outdated. There was a safe, a kettle and a good hair dryer available.

    The breakfast buffet was alright there was something there for everyone. For dinner we usually to the center run. Highly recommend is the local moonlight, that also already several times in reviews mentioned. Definitely go there, great food and very cheap! If one in the evening at the beach along goes, there are also great eating possibilities with sea view.

    The staff is friendly and one can inform oneself with english good. The battery of our safe was empty, this was taken care of immediately. Only the cleaning of the rooms leaves a little to be desired despite a tip. On the first day we had all the towels, the the next days always less. This problem had also other guests we talked with. Unfortunately, wlan only at the beach free of charge.

    The location is perfect it is quiet, but in about 30 minutes walking distance (or by a collective taxi circa 100 Bhat) you are in the center where there are lots of shops and local to eat there is. Nearby the hotel, there is a supermarket, we always our drinks bought. The airport is circa 15-minute drive away.

The kandaburi is located on the northern Chaweng-beach and is on foot very far from the Chaweng centre. Travels with the tuk tuk costs 50b per person. Beware! A majority the room is on the other side of the street accommodated. Distance from there to the beach around 400 to 500 metres. The rooms are massive and well equipped, although the open toilet in the bathroom, from the whole room the view is quite hard to get used to. The room smelled very musty and was damp. The air conditioning odor often a feces smell. The room service forgot several ... times, all towels exchange and often till the evening. The bed linen had already in the of the room stains. The safe was the locked. Only after insisting at the front desk and about 2 hours waiting someone came to him for us to open. The pool is very nice arranged and big enough for the quantity of hotel guests. It was positive too, that enough loungers available are. The towels, which one by the pool get are, friendly formulated, an isolence. In 7 days we had not one clean towel! The staff at of the pool bar are inattentive and served often only after repeated wave, even if otherwise no other guests at the tables to sit. The food was very good, although extremely expensive. Be careful! All prices will get taxes + 12% service charge! Positive was, that you of the pool directly to the beach arrived. The breakfast buffet is very extensive. But also here, the staff is extremely inattentive. Often you had to wait long for the coffee, the also far away, well to taste. Overall, i would about this hotel especially because of the hygienic conditions and the poor staff only advise against. read more

All in all a great complex and a great stay. To the eating and drinking we recommend in the neighboring hotels and restaurants, because there considerably cheaper is. The center is about 2 kilometer away, a scooter is recommended therefore. Snorkelling is on koh samui unfortunately not possible. read more

Hotel clean, path to the beach about 2 minutes, The hotel lies at the edge of Chaweng beach, to the center from Chaweng there is approximately 500 meters - one is thus very fast in the middle, the direct hotel area is however wonderful quiet, the staff were general very friendly and hard-working, Wi-fi free available, The two bosses respectively the manageress of the already several times mentioned moonlight bar directly next to the hotel have proved true treasure trove for insider -recommendations proven. Otherwise here you can really excellent food and cocktails drink. The attached massage-salon is ... also can only be recommended! Overall, the hotel is very nice. Our room (425 ) is huge, the bathroom is also very big ( shower and bath tub). The cleanliness was also reasonable. Every day there was fresh towels ( if you the escutcheon on 'makeup room' changed) and two bottles of water, as well as soluble coffee and tea. The fridge is large enough for own drinks etc. We were greeted with a small fruit basket in the room. The employees are all very friendly and always make an effort. The breakfast buffet was also reasonable, the choice of cold cuts ( cheese, sausage) ... was however somewhat poor. The omelets were great. So everything was nice and the location is also super. You are not right in the middle of it all, but if you want one is fast in the center. read more

    The beach is quasi on the doorstep. Even if you, as we hillsidezimmer has, one is in 2 minutes. With the small train one is about 3 minutes to the' center. The travel costs per person 50 Bath. Nice hotel directly at the beach. The rooms are massive and well equipped. Large bathroom with a bath and shower. Many places to put things in the room. Cleanliness reasonable. We had a room on the other side of the street, but it did not bother us, one was in 5 minutes (comfortable walk ) at the beach. Breakfast was also okay, apart from that we ate out. Nearby the hotel, there is a family market, since one knows itself favorably drinks procure. Couple restaurants with delicious food are as well right around the corner. Approximately 100 meters right from ... the hotel great massage-salon, we were every 2. day. In circa 15 minutes away by foot you are in Chaweng with lots of bars, restaurants and shops. We had a deluxe room on the hillside with american breakfast. The hillside is through a moderately busy street of main building and beach separated; path to the beach about 2 minutes. On the hillside, there is a separate pool and breakfast area. The whole hotel area and the rooms were always clean and tidy. The types of people were international wide-ranging-asians, americans and europeans all age groups were represented. Only a handful of children were during our travels in the hotel. read more

    The deluxe -rooms were spacious with a large bathroom. The furniture is really a bit outdated already and the schrankaufteilung has not developed (there was no drawers or shelves ), the rooms were but spacious and nicely decorated.

    There was on the hillside a pure breakfast area and otherwise a restaurant, which evenings was open. The restaurant the beachside was open all day, here evenings twice per week bbq or seafood-buffet offered. We only the breakfast buffet taken into account, there the food in the restaurant relatively expensive. The breakfast included american breakfast with rolls ( now and then there was even laugensemmeln :-), toast etc. , cereals and muesli, a salad buffet and local fruits. Eggs any form were directly cooked to order. Otherwise there was nationaltypical thai -breakfast, that means warm meal times, as they also for lunch or dinner get. Lunch I can only recommend, cityward corncobs, meat- or fruit skewer at the vendors at the beach to get. A fresh coconuts and the paradise feeling is perfect!

    There were two pools, one on the hill and a beach-side; both very clean. Comfortable loungers and sun screens, as well as bath towels are sufficiently available. The beach section of the hotel is - as some have already criticised-on two liegestuhlreihen limited and strong ebb and flood affected, what a but also beautiful ' mudflat hiking' made possible. The beach is very clean, white sand, clean, crystal clear water... At the front desk there were two computers with internet available, the beachside -pool stood wi-fi free available. Thank god there was no animation.

    The hotel lies at the edge of Chaweng beach, to the center from Chaweng there is approximately 500 meters - one is thus very fast in the middle, the direct hotel area is however wonderful quiet. The on foot to the center is quite bumpy, as the path large potholes and the lighting only very poor. We have generally each way by scooter back (the streets in Chaweng and environment in the last year all renewed), which I definitely absolutely recommend can something from the land and people be heard. In the center there are all conceivable shopping and entertainment possibilities and countless restaurants and food stalls.

Very nice huge and clean room! Very modern and tastefully decorated. We had a deluxe room hillside booked, really recommendable, one is nevertheless in 2 minutes at the beach and the number of stairs is even for loafers really acceptable, otherwise there are elevators! Can there the reviews other tourist absolutely not understand why! 2 very nice pool areas are available and the beach right under your nose! Breakfast buffet very extensive and there is something for everyone! Resort is in a quiet location at the northern end of the Chaweng Beach, center Commotion and shopping nevertheless in 10 minutes ... hike to reach, we found very pleasant! All together really recommendable! We had a very nice holiday! read more

The hotel complex is by a street split. When you a room on the mountain, is the way to the beach quite far. This is not really so nice. The water is very flat and one must very far run out, in order to swim. The beach itself was very narrow and on the small section are the loungers very narrow rows. Unfortunately there are also here the bad habbit, your towels already in the morning to drape and in the worst case the whole day not end. Against this is unfortunately not proceeded. The whole day run flying dealers ... and from and wanted something on, luckily but not too intrusive. Each of the two hotelteile has a private pool. The bottom is very warm. Above it is quiet and also relatively cool. We only had breakfast in the hotel, so we can only to a verdict. We found it quite good. The selection was very large, so that be something for everyone needs. Merely fresh juice we missed and the coffee could have been better, but over it can one way there marriages. The waiters were partly quite inattentive and one had to therefore sometimes quite long time for its warm drinks wait. We had a Carner -room, which was quite large. Unfortunately was no accommodation with two rooms to have. Therefore had our son on a folding bed in the same room to sleep. We had far yet the problem, that the toilet in the bathroom was leaking and downstairs always water tank, which is not completely so hygenic was. With the cleaning have the cleaning ladies also not so exactly taken, which led, that we a dead gecko the entire vacation long on window stick had. Even as we provocative the curtain so open, the animal necessarily had to see, nothing changed. With the towels we had whereas no problems, as other vacations in this forum the case was. These were changed daily and it were missing also never. The beach towels could be changed daily. You must also no deposit are charged, as other hotel now often is common. The hotel is at the northern edge of Chaweng, where it quiet as in the center is. Nevertheless you can reach everything fast, on foot, with the small train, or as we with the scooter. In the direct neighborhood is it but also everything you need, restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies Recommendable are the restaurants 'green Bird' in the center of Chaweng and the moonlight, directly next to the hotel, the very nice German run but also a very good Thai kitchen has. It is important definitely to be mobile, so you the island explore and a more beautiful beach as the hotel beach search can. Recommendable is the snorkeling excursion the Calypso catamaran after Kho thao. There were even some fish. read more

We have 12 wonderful days spent in this hotel. There was actually nothing to complain about. The only thing which I personally not so pleased was, that we up to 10 minutes on the clearing away of plates or on the drinks had to wait. This was but no large problem dar. Cleanliness & Linen with us also always very good. Would in any case come back to this hotel! read more

If one not to high expectations at a hotel has, because 4 stars are it no more, it is okay. A recommendation you can say, if you as mentioned, no high expectations exist. Because of some reviews in the portal here we were shortly before our departure again a bit skeptical has become (we had booked already in the December), when we in the lobby but very nice (in English) have been received and in our room ( hillside) had been accompanied where to us then also still everything important explained and was shown, we were absolutely loved it and overwhelming of this crazy massive room! Of a small hallway, the massive bathroom with a shower and bathtub and the living-/ bedroom %BLANK%. The double bed was with a wonderful hard and 'felt' ... new mattress equipped, a small seating area, as well as a small dining corner were also in the room accommodated. The small balcony with seating area had at our surprise even view of the sea and a nice view to the lovingly laid out garden. Tv was available and had a German speaking channels ( Deutsche Welle). There our room the hillside was, we also the breakfast buffet the hillside -restaurant eaten, which was from the selection of a brunch buffet reminded us! The typical German ' rolls with cold cuts' is not represented however therefor there is a massive selection at fresh fruit, eggs of any type the freshly prepared according to desire is, a station where also fresh to order pasta prepared, warm Thai dishes and typical English (sausages, bacon, baked beans, pancakes and toast) is from and also always regularly refilled. Coffee and tea are served at the table, a juice bar and water are at the buffet available. In all aspects everything was great delicious and something for everyone. After the day relaxed either at the wonderful ( from he, narrow ) beach or one of the nice and clean pools spent, the hotel has evenings buffet with different themes offered. The Thai evening attended, which was not really cheap was (650 Bath per person) but absolutely delicious, varied and also here again stations had, at which food on request freshly prepared were. Furthermore there was nice shows. Apart from that we at one of the many beach bars in the immediate area eaten, which clearly cheaper but exactly were delicious! If you undertake want, the hotel offers a free shuttle bus-service to Chaweng at, or you could rent a scooter from one of the numerous offerers in the immediate area (150 Bath for a whole day). Completely and finally, we are with the hotel, service and also location absolutely satisfied and thrilled and would visit the hotel again! read more

Very nice hotel. Friendly staff. The food could a bit better be, is however satisfactory. Depending on, where one on the complex is, you have to main street cross. In KOH Samui, the natives do not speak English very well, which we a great shame found. What we also a great shame found, that almost all of the restaurants the same meals like for instance pizza, pasta, hamburgers, seafood, fish... Together with the 'traditional Thai food'. The food however in general was cheap and good. read more
