To the beach vacation definitely not suitable, since the pool very outdated, but should 2013 be renovated. At the beach it was very dirty (even found used Condoms), the sight of the hotel's own Bay is however beautiful. The walk at the beach in the historic part from Rovinj takes about half an hour or even longer if you were already a bit tired. read more

A very well located hotel in Rovinj. About 15 minutes on foot to the center.
In the area there is a large park and lots of possibilities for sports (walk, Schweimmen, tennis, cycling,. )
Recommended for families with 1-2 children are the suites. The offer in comparison to the rooms more space and stay is much pleasant.
The breakfast buffet is great. Also the buffet in the evening. Whose who want to can only book bed and breakfast and the whole day in the site. read more

We agree with the criticism by other visitors not. We were pleasantly surprised. Our room was well equipped, the air conditioning worked perfectly, the bathroom was clean and big enough. My only complaint was the stains on the carpet next to the bed were not so great. Great were the mattresses, we had excellent sleep. Of noise (as others have) we didn't notice anything. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and tasty. Very nice and attentive the service at the bar. We would stay there again. However, should the price/performance ratio to be reconsidered, given that the double room over 170 euro ... is steep. read more

Inside beautiful revitalisierter Socialist prefabricated building, the from the outside was a bit old. Disco until five o'clock in the morning despite geschossener balcony door.
Unfortunately, we had it to do with little motivated staff, clearing the breakfast tables only reluctantly. Unfortunately, there was no umbrellas on the terrace, so that half of the tables in the shade, but the others were located in the sun. The hotel itself is a nice location.
There is a nice pool and parking area with too few beach chairs, since this also from other guests at the hotel 'lone' be mitbenützt.
Our suite ... was very nice, except for the fact, that the closet in the entrance was completely in the dark, so that we had to help cell phone as a light source. Conclusion:
Unfortunately there is still not the sense of three hundred euro per night welcome. An open air disco in the middle of the hotel area would be approved in our hardly. read more

Since the Hotel Eden last summer and liked it so much we were happy (and especially because of the great city Rovinj) we booked it again this year. Unfortunately we were not so thrilled with this year as last year: last year we had no problems at all to get a pool chair by the pool, no matter what time of day. This year it looked a bit different, perhaps also, because there is a new hotel chain has been built and the maistra this hotel has used the pool. But it wasn 't't so, that all the beach chairs ... by the guests of the hotel were used, safe only 20-30% of the beach chairs were occupied with towels and throughout the day. one day we had the luck to get pool chairs (without towels to reserve them) and we were up 16 o' clock and the beach chairs next to us, which were reserved with towels, the whole day were not used. It is very inconvenient, if you are in the vacation on the use of beach chairs annoyed-that should be better controlled by the hotel or if two hotels use the pool, you must provide sufficient beach chairs. Last year was not a problem-you could get at any hour couches. The second negative was this year, we had the room to the hotel park and on the stage. It is not that we have anything against hotel entertainment, but the animation went partly until midnight and the very, very loud. I am sure, that we are not the first, complaining, since I read many reviews of the hotel was, but seemed interested in the the hotel, including reviews of the neighboring hotel (five stars) were negative opinions because of the late night noisy activities of the Hotel Eden. Other than that, we were completely content with the hotel, the food was okay, the staff was very friendly, rooms were very clean. read more

Right on the hotel grounds there was a construction site. The hoarding reduces the sunbathing area adjacent to the pool area. Right on the lawn in 2 minutes the clock vehicles along and pieces.
During our entire stay we were permanent building noise by excavators, trucks, cutters, etc. and demolition hammer was considerably.
It was a undue condition. We could us not in the outdoor area of the hotel. Even with earplugs that was not possible. Even at the end of the bay was the extreme noise to hear.
Our complaint at the reception no understanding and has been rejected ..., partly very unfriendly. Especially the receptionist Ana was very impudent.
A written confirmation of noise was with us the head of the reception, Mrs Ingrid, as also by the hotel management denied. It has given us a room toward the road. The construction noise was replaced something less, but by road noise. read more

Had a great holiday at the hotel Eden! We were very satisfied with our room (we wanted to a room with a bathtub, we got it). The food (half board) was very good - Breakfast and dinner in buffet style - drinks must be paid at dinner (prices ok) staff in the restaurant very friendly - dishes were quickly cleared away. Pool area a dream!! You get a beach chair at any time. The swimming pool is huge - even when there are many guests in the pool, you don't notice. There was entertainment was offered in the pool (1 ... hours a day) - but it's about a quarter of the pools hour front desk also means having during the entertainers you could pleasant swim in the swimming pool. Entertainers weren't obtrusive. Beautiful beaches - not right in front of the hotel, but after 5 minutes. walk has lovely bathing possibilities. Further you go, the more beautiful the beaches or you will find "einsamere" bathing possibilities of rocks - water quality in the sea was top walk to both the city Rovinj (old town) in the intimate walk about 25 minutes - it's worth it!! The city is beautiful with her little narrow streets--lots of restaurants and bars. The exterior of the hotel is not very Attractive, but the inside convinced at first sight. Partly it lacks the cleanliness - especially in the rooms. The rooms are quite small. There were no two people in the bathroom space and the other room is no much space. One positive point is the rather new decor of the hotel/room. A negative thing was that the carpet floor, that actually hygiene reasons not particularly Attractive. The grounds are beautiful (large park in front of the hotel). Also some annoying companion like flies, mosquitos and so on rather little represented. There are ... enough sun-loungers and you feel by other not cramped, as there is enough space. A drawback was the constant, monotonous knock a broken pump. The beach directly in front of the hotel not speak to me. You need shoes because there glass bottles everywhere. It is also on site to buy water shoes for the as the entrance into the rocky sea. I recommend the beach a bit further south (about 2-3 minutes walk), less boats are hinder it entry. The sea is crystal clear and really clean. Especially the sunsets are a special experience in this area, and finally the makes a good holiday;). 10 minutes from the period specified but becomes quite exceeded. takes about 20-30 minutes (depending on how far into the center) from the boardwalk. I would highly recommend the city. It's beautiful and offers plenty of opportunities for shopping and eating. I only had breakfast and no half board, was pleased, however, as I was not spoken breakfast. The quality of the products for a 4 star hotel could be much better. Also it seemed more like a "fighting for survival" when I had to me through the of graben to not get great chocolate. The friendliness of the staff I judge average. We had actually booked hotel Katerina shortly before departure and were moved in the Eden. On site you wanted us to the not inviting depicting Villas Rubin stuck, we stayed but persistent and stayed at the hotel Eden a very enjoyable week. Rooms and restaurant and pool were great. The beautiful beach is 10 minutes walk away, but not our cup of tea. The water is very clean, but must get first through a Schmutzzone (grass, Sackerl,…. ) by fighting. The old town is 30 minutes away (walking time). Pool is really nice and despite Meerwasserfüllung perfect. In the ... evening in the hotel was always something going on. (Shows, live music) The food (half board) was varied and star cook-experience. For drinks you had to say that several kuna calculate. read more

Great hotel, we were already for the second time, generously equipped rooms with air conditioning, LCD TV, minibar. The hotel is huge but you didn't really have the feeling that many people at this hotel. The breakfast was plentiful and the variety of selections to choose from. The parking lot is partially covered parking and we could hear every time even though we went at the height of the season. Next to the hotel is now a construction site, but during the summer months stood still, at least from July to September we were told. The private restaurant "Oleander Grill" ... offers excellent food and the waiters are very nice and speak German well. The great salt water pool we were not once on the beach and the we also missed. In the area there enough pool chairs and space in the sun or the shade of the many trees, so that no that respects are side by side was necessary. The repair work at the pool could be better. Partly the holes with missing tiles only filled out more with concrete, which didn't necessarily eveything looks nice. read more

A huge hotel, in the off-peak period still not so full, so parking space for all available. So that in the main season for each car parking is available at the hotel parking lot is impossible. You parking outside the complex. The 2 -bed rooms are ok. Not too big, but good for Croatian standard. The breakfast buffet is very varied (cereal, cereals, eggs in varying preparation, sausage, cheese, jams, various pastries, cakes, compote, dried fruit, fruit, vegetables, yogurt). We only had B&B for lunch or dinner buffet I can't comment. The guests were mixed, both in nationality (Austria, Germany ..., Hungary, United Kingdom, Italy, Croatia) as also in the age. read more
