We were as a couple from 01-09-2012 to 08-09-2012 in ermioni beach hotel with half board. Over the room and the hotel I can only good things to say ( room 313). As often described here is a very family-run hotel. There is no entertainment program. However we should be no value. The buffet is however in comparison to large hotel complex rather small, however everything tasted very good. Breakfast there are from to and dinner from to. Evenings you for the beverages to eat pay. Approved we were greeted with a handshake from the hotel boss! Many wrote here ... over the loud street, the at the hotel leads. I would like to say, that I the road especially evenings loud have. However there was at night less traffic. We the road didn't bother us. Worse I felt sheep, on a meadow close to the hotel were. They had bells around, the whole night jingled have. I can only recommend to everyone no room on the ground floor to take. I would not be accommodated. The rooms are as storerooms in the basement. Our double room was with a balcony and air conditioning. Use of the safety box facility costs 10 Euro per week. Fridge and tv you can per week for each 15 Euro rent. The cocktails at the hotel pool are very good. It cost almost twice as much as in the bars in nachbarörtchen, however is here for certain also alcohol in it. We in the cheap cocktails miss anything. The rather after water tasty. The pool and the hotel complex were very clean. There is a beach which 5 minutes away is. Here bathe and does nobody. It is very stony. It is 15 minutes to the adjoining village of kavros you arrive at a nice beach with relatively much sand. Merely in certain places there are sections with gravel. A sun screen and two loungers costs here 4 Euro per day. A supermarket and a cash machine is also in the village of kavros! We had for 146 Euro 3 days long a car over Neckermann ( by the travel guide locally) rented. They authorized the undertake pan car (tel. +30 (28210) 681214-38024). The car was at the hotel and also picked up again. Here you can certainly right questions. From Neckermann it says, that it is not good a car with a resident rental itself to rent. The cars are often not properly insured. That is certainly not. Although our travel guide said, there is a ideal insurance coverage the staff which the car brought once a tyre and unterbodenversicherung for 8 Euro complete. As excursion destinations nearby the larger towns Chania and Rethymnon. It is worthwhile surely these places to visit. In the neighboring town of kavros, there is the 'talos express'. This is a small midget train. They offer different excursions at. There is a 'easy trip' for 5 Euro per person. The drive goes to kournas lake. The only natural fresh water-lake. There you can stay as long as you want. The first drive is at: o'clock and the last trip back at: o'clock. On the lake there is a souvenir shops and you can pedal boats. Some have also bathed. The lake is beautiful. However the environment is rather dirty. On the lake there was also geese all banks shitty have. We are just driven there and with the next drive just back. Is very recommendable the trip to the wasserfallquellen. This trip costs per person 8 Euro. You got an impression from the cretan countryside and rural villages. The waterfalls even I much bigger. But it is only lots of small waterfalls. The German speaking travel guide has a very likeable impression made. The drive was very amusing and interesting. It will be a 3. tour: to the cretan villages. Because we however three days kreuz and across Kreta by car on the way were we this tour not made. The drive on Kreta we have very many villages and drive through. We were by car three beaches all very nicely were described. It is the beach from préveli (in the south of the island), the beach from falasarna (in the north-west the island) and the beach from elafonissi (in the south-west the island). We would never again at the beach from préveli go. From the parking to the beach it is a very difficult and long way by the rocks (at least 30 minutes). The palm trees are in a way palm trees garden laid out. At the beach there was no palm trees. The palm trees garden is absolutely not nice. While there are many palm trees however the environment is of the' palm trees garden' very messy and absolutely not well maintained. The water in the sea is very cold, since here the confluence of the river from the mountains is. We regretted the long drive up to the disappointing beach to have made. For 2 Euro per person, you could with the tretboot to a neighboring beach drive. We thought this beach would be beautiful. No way! He was totally stony. And after 10 minutes we could again 2 Euro per person pay around drove back to. You could this way between the two beaches also walk. However again over the rocks. This was after long way to the beach much too strenuous! Is very recommendable the sandy beach from falasarna. Here we were in two days. Two loungers with sun screen costs here 6 Euro per day. A also really beautiful sandy beach is the beach from elafonissi. Here, we also have a day spent. These two beaches you should in any case seen. At this beaches you get the feeling in Karibik to be. If you need the large gorge (18 kilometer long) from samaria not hike through want to I recommend the 8 kilometer long imbros gorge to hike through. You hike in about three hours by imbros after komitádes. You can the car in imbros parking and komitádes with the taxi back (if you don't return want to walk). Good shoes are very recommendable!
