The hotel lies at the edge of town of bad gögging. With 165 rooms, the Marc Aurel good size. There are all sorts of guests there. The average age was probably 40 plus x beach chairs. Overall the renovated hotel a pompous impression, whereby the roman antique style definitely not indulgent. For golfers, the right at the hotel incipient golf course be a magnet. read more

    We used the rooms were big enough and also clean. Unfortunately was missing in our room type a mini safe. This 30 euroartikel should be in a 4 star hotel an absolute standard. Also made the furniture a worn impression. Here could use a little renovation with holzreparatur -establish in the respective holzfarbe miracle and very low cost.

    There is 2 restaurants, the smaller domus for a la carte guests is. We stayed in the large buffet with the quality of the food (also for breakfast) and the service absolutely satisfied. A praise to the kitchen staff! The number of open wines is could still be improved.

    The all of the staff of the front desk over the gastronomy to the room service is of culinary friendliness. The cleaning of the rooms is without any complaint.

    The outdoor swimming pool with 50 meters, the indoor thermal pool with about 25 meters and the liquid sound pool include the best spa hotels in Germany have to offer. The sauna department with 6 schwitzbereichen is very nice. The golf course was in the 'winter sleep'.

    Bad gögging is very well arranged. The only highlight is the limes thermal baths directly opposite the Marc Aurel. For the hotel is a bus stop. Worth seeing in the proximity are kehlheim with the hall and weltenburg abbey on donaudurchbruch as well as Regensburg with walhalla.

My girlfriend and i wanted a nice wellness weekend treat yourself and through mydays. De on this hotel prodded. The description of the beautifully decorated building with many wellness facilities, a great pool and convincing pictures did us and we were completely convinced, that this the right decision was : very friendly staff, many great relaxation and beauty treatments, a big pool, a pool with music underwater and extremely delicious food let us forget the time! For over ten years now, i gladly in Marc Aurel. It is a wonderful hotel the roman-themed, very tidy and clean. The restaurant is upscale, the breakfast very high quality. The wellness area is varied, a peaceful oasis, the massage is highly commendable and the highlight-the liquid sound pool. We were in the Marc Aurel for the 2. time and felt because of the good experiences during our first stay decided, this time the christmas package to book. And this was a good decision, as we wonderful days in the Marc Aurel quality. The restaurant is in the roman style, so that the very good food in a nice ambiance take left. Particular emphasis should be on the freshly renovated thermal baths and attached saunas. That 50 meters outdoor pool was heated and is a real tip for sportsmen. Besides there is a gym for free use for the ... hotel guests. The staff were without exception very friendly, and our dog turned not a problem dar. There is special room for the pets guests. read more

We were although it is only a weekend in Marc Aurel, however we were totally amazed. It is the first hotel, i've been in, the 100% is wheelchair accessible. The room and the bathroom is for scooter drivers very spacious and you can get very well. The entire hotel is very spacious and well laid out. There is within the floors no stairs, you can ground level everything marvelously reach. The spa and beauty area-ideal! The food is wonderful. No matter wether breakfast buffet, italian buffet or before-and dessert buffet - there is something there for any taste. The staff ... are totally friendly, competent and ready to help. I wanted 2. the mattress, so i better from the bed up could. A telephone call at the front desk and 10 minutes later was the mattress since. For me does not exist the slightest negative, the i on this great hotel could be. Keep it up, i would come back again and again! read more

As a regular customer I must unfortunately after my week stay this time a negative feedback to deliver: The service for breakfast has neglected; at 9 o'clock early one finds used, dirty tables before, no set tables for 4 or 5 persons. Once you leave a welcomed bellhops, until you even actively in the service applies and around the uncover a table asks. One morning missing fresh wholemeal roll, on 2. morning missing pretzels. In the pool area was not cleaned daily; waste and used glasses from the day before were to be found, weak performance ratio for a 4-star ... superior hotel. Respect for the construction in the pool area are not yet finished! read more

The construction of the sauna area in this summer is a good thing. Were for wellness, squash and excursions for 4 nights in the Marc Aurel. Hotel lies ideally located between Munich, Regensburg, Augsburg nearby Altmühl and Donau. So that within a autofahrstunde a massive range of tourist attractions. The wellness-and pool area is very good. Great the 50 meters long outdoor swimming pool along the whole südwestfront of the hotel. Only drawback for us was the evening buffet. The menu was varied, for my taste but too much on central european kitchen focused. I would next time room with breakfast and so the possibility have, in the neighboring restaurants (1 Italian, 1 ... asian - quality unknown) or otherwise for dinner. read more
