A wedding to remember

Although this was a vacation and wedding to be remembered; I do have a few concerns. I had issues with the size of my room. I could not communicate well enough to be accommodated because of the language barrier. I speak English and the desk attendants and management did not. I think you need at least one person who is fluent in Universal language. My parents were stuck and could not get to the wedding. I was saddened by this event considering room was full paid. I think and remember when I was in the states management always made accommodations ... for me. Several items were lost and again management did not communicate fluently enough to be able to help. Although the staff was good; there did not seem to be anyone who could make upper managerial exceptions. In good faith, I think i should be compensated for room and at least lost $500. watch. This will satisfy me and give me a feeling of a company that goes above and beyond the call of duty. read hotel review

The hotel was great, the rooms were kept nice and clean. It was very dificult to get the mini bar restocked. (No Diet Soda). The other guest were from Russia and Central and South America. The Hotel allowed young guest (17-20) to run amok. On two occasions, I saw Security wheeling Drunk Guest back to their room. I had to call Security for a Guest who was trying to get into my room. the Kid (17-20) was stupid. read hotel review

Our room was about a 1/4 mile from the main lobby and the beach. Lots of high end shopping stores. Several pool and bars around the pool area. Lots of free liquor. The excursion were great, the operators would come and pick you up. Take you to your excursion and then return you back to the hotel. all of the excursion were top rate.

My husband and I enjoyed every minute of the resort. The grounds were huge, but no matter where you went, everything was so clean and beautiful. The staff, even though, some did not speak English, they always tried to accommodate us and always smiling. The check-n and check-out process was very quick. Guest service was very good in answering our questions and helping out with dining reservations. read hotel review

We only stayed 2 days in this hotel after a cruise, but we no longer want to stay. The resort is very large and very nice, however, hardly any germans in the area, but almost only russians. Drinking is actually from the breakfast and the operations are the, which you every day some dollar returns. The dining halls (sb-restaurant) are rather like a university cafeteria. It lasts partly. Forever tables again be covered up or you got something to drink. In the evening in the bars really nothing going on - the bars are was great from the decor but ... in almost no music or so quiet that one could hardly hear them. Was very boring in the evening. For families this hotel is certainly very good - great water park for children etc. The beach is beautiful and the area was very well maintained - so there's of us also still a positive rating - still for us as a couple but also in the evening which to undertake would like this hotel is really nothing. read hotel review

Excellent price-performance ratio, included à-la-carte restaurants (the spanish) offer real treat. Round on good and varied course costs velvet carte thanks voucher system cost around 20 Euro per person (from december more expensive). Attractive evening program in the huge theater stands out clearly from the often dearless all inclusive fuss from. Palm beach and huge pool of Karibik all honour. Small negatives: information at the check-in and in the golf shop were sparse, the staff seemed in both cases highly unmotivated, which also with the language barrier may be related to the (spanish from advantage!). By far the worst meal ... we had in the steakhouse serves, but bite in the dusk the mosquitoes, effective protection (Autan worked only unsatisfactorily) empfhielt itself, in particular, if you are going to the golf course of related waters lives. read hotel review

Beautiful hotel plant with some mangos! The biggest drawback is we thought holiday in Moskau and not in the dominican republic! The first week there were 70% russian, 20% chinese the remaining 10% hodgepodge! The gschmass is under all sow on! Where did the powder! Incredible Since we already often in the Karibik were, i unfortunately not so many german guests in this hotel as it is now the russians poor Germany. The area was about four years ago rebuilt, this former palace is now beach. The plant is in a good condition. The trolley is just like earlier. In ... the buffet often the tables not changed more frequently. Over the meal we cannot weight. You can take a taxi to Punta Cana drive, there gives it a supermarket. Be careful not to the russenmarkt bring! The taxi costs ten Dollar for the ride. read hotel review

Huge area, the 24/7 of various security forces is. Very well maintained, you can almost no 10 meters over not somewhere a gardeners, engineers or a maid to see. They really took care of everything. Several times daily, a group came with workers the seaweed from the beach. All restaurants, pools and shops are close by and can be easily on foot. If one time around more from the resort to see wants you just take the free train the rounds. Because it otherwise never is, here the price for the wlan: The first day cost 12 us $every day ... 5 us $thus comes one on circa 45 us $per week. A steep price. I must say, however, that the network coverage absolutely is incredible. We had a junior suite deluxe with a view of the beach. The condition of the room was very good. Bathroom Two sinks, which free at the room were, thus could one also with the brush your teeth see the sea. On the bathroom counter there was a hair dryer, as well as a basket of various articles including toothbrush, even razor, floss, shoehorn, soap and so on. This basket was refilled daily. The shower was as well as the toilet modern tiled and had a hand held shower rose, as well as a Rain-shower shower head. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel were in dispensers on the wall. The toilet had a dual paper dispenser and a telephone, so everything you need ☺ Only the door to the toilet prevents certain level of intimacy. The door is frosted glass and closes to the sides, and the ceiling not from. Lockable it is not. Bed The bed was wonderfully fluffy, features 3 pillows ever berth and leaves at least. Nothing to be desired. It is feather pillows, not those schaumkissen, as you otherwise often in other hotels finds. On one of the desserts there is also a clock radio with Iphone-dock (only Iphone 4/4s, no Iphone 5/ 5s). tv A 32' lcd be. There are all kinds of channels, however only 2 german. The dw (Deutsche Welle) a kind of news channel and one channel of prosbn calls. It is strange white but not as we initially expected to ProSieben, but a zusammenschnitt different channels like for instance RTL, satellite. 1, ProSieben and so on. Zusammenschnitt means, it will be top current things, as in our period for example the parliamentary elections, but also things from the 90 - was however times again nice some consequences commissioner rex to see ☺ Minibar/ snackar Was replenished every day, sometimes even several times. The following beverages were available: canned beer, apple juice, orange juice, Cola, Fanta, Sprite, water, a bottle of rum, sparkling wine. In addition there was a coffee maker, tea bags and various nuts in small packages, sometimes also cookies, varied from day to day. Balcony/terrace Adequate size, as well as the room very clean. Small table with 2 chairs in rattan optics with chic green pillows (almost brand new). The highlight was the hot tub, this worked perfectly. Due to the size it took some time until he fully was pretty good. The balcony has a kind of fliegenschutzgitter which you with a crank handle adjust can. You leave this grid all day below, you have absolutely no problems with mosquitoes!

What can you say? Unfortunately absolutely perfect ☺ Breakfast Very rich in two buffet restaurants. Huge selection of different breads and croissants. Lots of fresh fruit like pineapple, mango and melons. Chocolate croissants there is also ☺ Of course, there were also herzhaftere things like fried eggs with bacon and so on. So really for absolutely every taste. To drink there were various juices (all freshly squeezed!) , coffee, tea and of course also soft drinks. As a small bonus, there was a stall where you fresh fruit can pick. The fruit will be, depending on request with water or milk juice mixed - very delicious! For lunch there were depending on demand in one or two buffet restaurants, a lunch buffet. Also here you will find from hamburgers with chips to oysters everything. The dinner in the buffet restaurant is top notch, in fact you would need almost no other restaurant more ☺ Every day dozens of figures from melons and chocolate carved and wonderfully in scene set. The food was so good, that it is impossible, everything here to list. Thing you should however the lush dessert buffet with cream cake, chocolate fruits and ice cream (which after chewing gum tasted ☺ In addition to the buffet restaurant there was the à-la-carte restaurants (seafood, japanese, italian, mexican, steakhouse, spanish, french), and a us-diner and a coffee-lounge - all inclusive (only the french costs extra). The japanese (kyoto) is an absolute must, here is a show-cooking establishments. The chefs juggle with raw eggs and make a lot of faxes. The us-diner is rather which for the small hunger (24 hours open). Here you can also at 6 tables free play billiards

Due to many of the reviews here we were on our trip a bit uncertain, if we could get the wrong hotel booked. I have absolutely no idea what standard some people otherwise are used, we came and like kings ☺ Like everywhere in the world there are people, the always in good spirits, others are less. Still were always all the staff very friendly and hard-working and the best 2 weeks of the year to sweeten. As one calls into the forest then it comes also out! German is hardly spoken, with english but we could perfectly communicate, poor a handful of staff could only speak spanish, but that there are hands and feet to communicate ☺ From the maids to the waiters gave us every member of staff with whom we had to do at the highest level satisfied. The maid service was without exception every day in our room, sometimes even several times! The waiters served the ordered drinks and food quickly, drinks were often unasked renewed. If no waiter came to see us we were polite to asked us where is the problem? A small tip was gladly seen (1-2 US Dollar), but we never had the impression, that this is obligatory or a tip a (still) better service received. Complaints we had only one and this was handled exemplary. One day there were problems with the wlan (by a storm in the night). After examination, we have immediately a part of the sum paid back - top!

On the beach they had a rental service for catamaran, surfboards, pedal boats and kayaks - all completely free of charge! Furthermore, you could snorkel equipment and various games to borrow, also free. Boats were always in sufficient quantity available. There was an additional charge other leisure activities such as diving, snorkeling tours, swim with sharks, dolphins, rays, and so on. Small tip: if you only huge starfish see no need for a snorkel trip to book. Simply take a boat, a pedal boats for 4 people, and moves you toward the small islands where the dolphins, sharks and rays are kept. About half way (red bar in the ocean), there were spots where countless starfish in pizzatellergröße the bottom of the beach chairs. The water was no deeper than about 2 metres, so you could easily down diving and starfish to the surface transport (but later please return to the sea!) You should only be careful where you go-force and does, there is also sea urchins and rays in the sand hide. If you have more adventurousness felt can try with the boat to the hai island. Sometimes the staff was willing to 10-20 US Dollar with the sharks snorkelling to ☺ (booking on the beach about 150 Dollar) In the afternoon, there were often dance classes and jogastunden on the beach, but we didn't try it. But it is also included. There was every evening at 22 o'clock a show at the grand hotel's immediate vicinity. We and 2 looked at, both were fabulous. One of two was the Michael Jackson Show, this show is worth it is early to come, the show is so good, that almost the whole hotel there increase ☺

To the situation i can unfortunately only very little letter. The transfer from the airport takes about 20-30 minutes. On the way to the hotel looks not really much except streets, wilderness and some shacks with. One day we went on a little trip with the taxi at a different beach section made. There were many stalls where you all kinds of souvenirs to buy could. Everything was much cheaper than in the hotel, but somehow also all unnecessary ☺ This trip is worthwhile itself only conditionally. One runs at the beach right away, one arrives relatively fast in lonely bays. It is of course not as clean and neat as on ahotelstrand, you can but crabs, lizards and water growing palm trees and beautiful photographs undisturbed. Ca15-20. there was a jetty to the morning the excursion boats dock. Here we could many colorful fish and even a sea turtle to see.

The complex is really nice, apparently it expanded its room offer but not restaurants. Being an all inclusive it is a problem at dinner time when you are required to make reservations which were only available at 6 pm or 11 pm when there was any availability. If not you had to eat at the buffet which was the same all week long, quality was not the best and staff was not friendly. On the other hand rooms were kept in good shape with good size. Will not go again due to the bad service. read hotel review

Beautiful Karibik beach with wohlfühlgarantie

We were now already 5. time with the family in the Karibik( dk, Mexico, Cuba). The was really the all-inclusive hotel, with the longest and most beautiful sandy beach, which we so far had experienced were allowed. The hotel area was huge (until 2000 beds, as i read), by the spacious and very attractive, clean area but very good. read hotel review

Nice, large, clean, and much other quiet 2 - bed room (we had a deluxe premium booked); king size beds for adults; queen-size beds for children. The great outdoor jacuzzi on the balcony with a partial ocean view. Nice idea with light sensors, the toilet in the dark night light. Our rooms were in the complex 03 with maximally 5 going minutes to the beach chairs.

The 2 large buffet-style restaurant were our upscale all-inclusive expectations regarding quality and choice. Only during the peak hours on the weekends, you had to somewhat 'caribbean equanimity' have, until the next table was free. The hotel has 11 restaurants, for which one with the check-in several coupons get. The italian ' la Dolce Vita' and the spanish 'la fünte' highly recommend.

The staff was always ( also at the front desk) friendly. A change of rooms (we had a group were) was within a day without problems possible. The rooms were mostly at the same time of day cleaned. We never had the impression, that a tip was expected (which we of course still gave) and the service had still been unchanged was good.

The design of the entire pool area is very attractive. Hygiene is trying very hard, which wasn't always (of course guests due) especially in barpoolbereich succeed. The beach is in its size and nature really top. At our travel time was a massive oversupply of free couches (maximum 50% occupied couches), all under palm trees. Habituation needy is however the lively wassermotorsport from about 10,30 until about 16,30 due to external organizers, their customer to this hotel area with different wasservehikeln'vorbeischleussen'. Probably wanted them once a dream beach to ☺

Ideal proximity to the airport (about 20-30 minutes) - we were the first on the shuttle traffic and the last to airport shuttle zustiegen. As the hotel through the all-inclusive offer all our desires fulfilled, we had no need to eat out to go. The hotel area was located at the end of other resorts. For example, if far stretching on an unspoilt, sandy beach, in the nature jogging wants, in the port of this hotel ample opportunity (also ' photoshooting' under naturpalmen was eagerly used).

The hotel is directly at the bavaro beach, one of the ten most beautiful estates weitweit. It is everything the resort offered... Several pools, a lot of activities in which you could join in (but not). Overall a very nice location and the Punta Cana International Airport is only a half hour away (there is no aircraft noise)

Gorgeous paradise ruined by rudeness

In two words, beautiful and massive. The hotel is open-air throughout, with the exception of the indoor restaurants, shops and bars, which are almost all centrally located, and there are plenty of places to sit and relax in every area of the hotel. The grounds are gorgeous—full of greenery and well maintained. The golf course is nice and green—lots of water hazards. The open-air theater is quite large and seating is available both upstairs and down—The shows are okay, nothing earth shattering. The casino is bigger than expected, but not large. There is even an open-air church overlooking a small ... body of water near the golf course. There is a trolley available throughout the day that will take you to all the different areas of the Barcelo property if you don’t want to walk. The check-in lobby is upstairs, and therefore not on beach level, which means no coastal breeze to cool things off, so prepare yourself for a hot and sweaty wait at check-in. read hotel review

The rooms are nice—probably a bit nicer than the average hotel room—and very clean. Each type of room has it’s own section of the hotel and my husband and I, along with two other couples, stayed in a Junior Suite Deluxe. These rooms are housed within four separate buildings that line the beach. Building 4 starts just north of the pool area, and Building 1 is directly next to the Barcelo Adults Only Hotel. After exploring the rest of the hotel, you’ll definitely want to pay a bit extra for one of these rooms (unless you are bringing children, in which case, there is a family section of the hotel for that.) The Junior Suites Deluxe rooms are worth it because of their location—the only thing separating them from the beach is a sidewalk. As for what you get with your Junior Suite Deluxe, it’s nothing special, other than a terrace with a Jacuzzi for two. Other than that, it’s pretty basic stuff—a flat screen TV, a small fridge stocked with a couple of beers, a few juices and carbonated beverages, an alarm clock/ipod dock, etc. The room is not stocked with liquor as in many other all-inclusive hotels. I wouldn’t bother paying extra for an ocean front room as these seem to have less privacy than others, and also you are able to see the ocean from the other rooms. If you don’t want a long walk to and from the main area of the hotel each day (or a trolley ride), you’ll want to request building 3 or 4 (Unless you want to pay more for nicer buildings 5 and 6). Otherwise you’ll be closer to the Barcelo Adults Only, and your all-inclusive package does not include anything at that hotel. We were placed in building 1, and after our long, hot wait at check-in and long, hot walk to our rooms, we followed the sidewalk from our room, which led directly into a bar/restaurant within the Barcelo Adults Only, and were quite frustrated to learn they could not serve us and we would have to walk all the way back to the main area of our hotel for food or beverage of any kind. Oddly enough, if we had stayed at the Barcelo Adult’s Only—which was less expensive—we would have been able to enjoy service at both hotels. Had we known this, we would have booked there instead. The Adults Only hotel is much smaller, but also much quieter, with no children and less people overall. So if you’re looking for a quiet vacation, you’ll want to stay there. The Barcelo Palace, while nicer than the Adults Only, is literally swarming with people at all times. But on the upside, there are always plenty of fun things to do if you would rather not just lie on the beach or lounge in the pool—karaoke, dancing, windsurfing, kayaking, snorkeling, paddle boating, etc. Not sure if these same activities are available at the Adults Only hotel.

Dining at the restaurants in this resort is a joke, and something should be done to correct the situation. I can't speak for other travelers, but when I pay for an all-inclusive resort, I'm not really expecting much from the food. I realize that I'll most likely be eating from a buffet during the day and in one of the resort restaurants at night. Because that's why those restaurants exist, right? For hotel guest to dine in. Well, that rule only applies to certain guests at the Barcelo Palace. I'm not exactly sure how it works... maybe the people that are staying for 2 weeks make all their reservations the day they arrive, filling up all the restaurants and leaving us poor souls only staying for 6 days to our sad buffet. Or maybe when they say they have no more reservations, they are really just saving them for the 'Club Premium' guests who will arrive later in the day. Either way, it's a terrible way to run a resort. We were told the restaurants fill quickly, and to make our reservations upon arrival, and so we did. However, after waiting in the long check-in line, and then waiting in another line to speak to someone in guest services to make our reservations, the only times available at any of the seven restaurants included in our all-inclusive package were for 10:45 at night, and some had no availability at all. So if you don’t enjoy eating your main course at midnight, plan on getting very familiar with the buffets. Such a shame that most guests must end up eating the exact same buffet every day AND every night of their hard earned vacation. If you are able to get into any of the restaurants, the steakhouse and seafood were the best. Don’t bother with the Italian—blech! For lunch and breakfast, most guests frequent the buffets located near the pool, and for breakfast, they have some okay options here. But we did not really enjoy the lunch buffet as much, so we ate in the sports bar most days, which was better. However, on our last day there, we found the 19th Hole restaurant and had we known about it earlier, we would have eaten there every day. It is the only sit-down restaurant available during lunch hours—it was quieter there than in other parts of the hotel and it was delicious! It said ‘Club Premium’ when we walked into the restaurant, but we asked and the staff assured us it was for regular guests too.

If you look for warmth and friendliness from your hotel staff while on vacation, DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. I’ve never stayed elsewhere in the Dominican, so I don’t know if the people staffing this hotel are representative of all Dominicans. I really, truly hope not because I fell in love with Bavaro Beach and would love to return there in the near future. However, I am not willing to take a nearly five hour plane ride again, nor pay this much money again, to be treated with barely masked disdain or ignored completely. I cannot speak for the Adult Only hotel, as we could not be served there, but the Barcelo Palace has much to learn in the way of hospitality and common courtesy. Which is such a shame, because if it weren’t for that, I might return to this beautiful hotel again. As it is however, I will never stay in the Barcelo Palace in Punta Cana again. In fact, I seriously doubt I will ever stay at another Barcelo property, period. Vacations are too short and too costly to spend them being treated poorly. Do not bother springing for the Club Premium upgrade. We found those unlucky souls were treated with the same contempt as the regular guests. And do not bother tipping—it will get you nowhere. I cannot begin to imagine why. It does not matter how friendly, or gracious, or polite you are, your good manners will not be reciprocated. And if you can avoid it, do not use the restroom facilities unless you are in your own room, as you will be watched like a common criminal while you relieve yourself and wash and dry your hands. Again, I cannot begin to fathom why. Check-in is awful. There are two long desks, each able to accommodate at least six staff members to check you in, and yet, though there are at least 12-15 staff members running around, only two or three of them are actually helping out with this. And though you are waiting patiently in the line, many of the hotel guests will go straight to the desk with their problems or questions instead of the getting in line behind you, and the staff will accommodate them before you instead of asking them to wait their turn. In a five star hotel, check-in should be much more organized and efficient. And if they are going to be so unorganized and inefficient, they could at least be friendly and apologetic about it. Do not bother trying to use any of the ‘credits’ you may have received when booking. They are useless at saving you money everywhere, except maybe the golf course (and even there, you still must pay to rent clubs and a cart) and when paying for Wifi, because it is not free here. Even with a $200 credit for room upgrade, they were going to charge us $700 for 4 nights for the exact same room, just more of an ocean view. It’s the same at the spa, with an $80 credit, a massage will still cost over $100 (I was amazed to learn it cost that much when I realized a relaxing outdoor massage is in full view of everyone in the pool and is accompanied by the sounds of thumping club music.) If you are expecting this five star resort to accommodate you or even acknowledge your presence while you are vacationing here, think again. The most attention we received from any staff member was when we took a small plate of bread to the bar area tables right outside the buffet restaurant near the pool. It was dinner time, we were starving and our reservations were not until 10:45pm. We sat down and were immediately surrounded by three staff members telling us we could not eat there--if we wanted to eat we needed to go back to the bustling buffet... a mere 20 feet away. After that, although we followed their rules and never touched the bread, the waitresses would no longer serve us at the pool bar. To sum up, if you have not booked your hotel yet, DO NOT book here. I’ve stayed at all-inclusive resorts in Mexico, which were less and expensive and just as beautiful, and I’ve yet to have a bad experience. If this is your first time going all-inclusive, do not be discouraged—The Barcelo Palace experience is not what the all-inclusive vacation was meant to be. If you are unfortunate enough to have already paid for reservations here, prepare yourself for disappointment—mostly with the fact that such a beautiful paradise is completely ruined by rudeness. And maybe brush up on your Spanish in case you feel the need to forget your manners for a moment, in which case you’ll want them to understand what you’re saying.

About 20 minutes from the airport, Bavaro Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever visited. The sand is soft and white, the water is a clear, light blue, and the palm trees are plentiful almost all the way to the water’s edge. There is plenty of water movement, but no big waves here, and the water temp in August is perfection. There is seaweed continuously washing up on the beach, but it is also continuously being maintained by the hotel staff… They have a machine sweeping it off the beach in the early morning and then individuals can be found sweeping it away throughout the day. I thought the seaweed might be a big drawback when I read about it in previous reviews, but it was not a big deal at all. This is a long stretch of beach, shared by both the Barcelo Palace and the Barcelo Beach Adults Only Hotel, so there are plenty of empty sunbeds to be found, no matter what time of day. However, be warned, there is no beach service for food and/or drinks and the spots closest to the Barcelo Palace’s main area—where the pools, bars, and restaurants are located—are taken early in the morning and stay that way during peak hours (9am to 3pm). This means that when you’re ready for another frosty beverage—adult or otherwise—you will have a fairly long trek ahead of you. You should know also that the cups they give you are small and made of a very thin plastic, so by the time you arrive back at your beach sunbed, your drink has melted and is growing warm. To solve this problem, we found souvenir mugs in one of the hotel gift shops, and had the bartenders put our drinks in those instead. I highly recommend doing this if you plan to drink at all while out and about during the day at this hotel. There is shopping on the beach just past the Barcelo Adults Only Hotel. You will see a lot of the same jewelry, etc. as in the hotel gift shop, only here you can negotiate the price. Sellers can be fairly pushy, so bring your sales resistance with you or be prepared to pull out your wallet frequently.

Rooms are great! We have premium suite and had a side view to the sea. It was wonderfully quiet. I have some reviews here and had to smile. We were very satisfied with the service. We were always served, with a smile and not arrogant or understated friendliness. Drinks were always cold and always the service forces were approachable. Some waiters could even a few words of german. Also on english there were no problems to communicate, as most of the native bilingual grow up. I even had my bikini left lost and the next day i had luck and could it on the guest service pick-up. A sign of full attention. Beds were even changed every day. Towels were always new. Nice were the towel-stations. The check-in you get tickets will be distributed. You can swap for towels for the pool or beach. On request you can have fresh towels several times a day demand. ( for example, if you are wet) The people and the service are characterized by friendliness, you can't complain there. We had a very good experience and we were delighted!

Even in the morning against 11:00 a. m. were plenty of beach chairs available. Shady spots there were enough. There is a tennis court, golf course, and even a football field! Pool areas are clean and there is no great dangers for children. The palm trees and white sand are fantastic. The gardens in the hotel look fabulous from. The complex is located directly on the beach. The hotel has its own shops: perfumes, cigarettes, clothing, jewelry, gift shop, etc. These are but unfortunately very overpriced. Even souvenirs were exaggerated. In the hotel there is a trolley, the through the whole hotel area is. This is brilliant!

We have already been for the 2. time in a row in the Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe and both male club premium booked. Last year we had the master suite oceanfront which quite comfortable. This year we decided for a larger suite which nothing to exceed is. The service in club premium was always friendly and courteous and you thought even to us from the previous year (very attentive). The cleaning of the rooms worked to our complete satisfaction. The rest the hotel is in spotless condition, everything very tidy and clean and vermin far and wide no trace. The ... food has compared to the year of quality has increased. Although some of the food still only lukewarm, however tasty is something for everyone. Unbeatable still the cake buffet ☺ The service in the buffet area is still expandable, however in green surroundings area. All service staff are always very friendly and hard-working. The beach served every morning from all algenresten exempt and is absolutely wonderful nice. Beach chairs are no reserved to, there are plenty of are available. The pool area el cielo (adults only) was even this year to our favorite place. For 10 Dollar per day a covered bed rent, has thus if necessary shade, a great pool there were no children shrieking and a bar with the best service at all ( at this point big praise to santa and her colleagues). From the crowd were this year americans and canadians in the majority, followed by russian guests, many spaniards and a handful of german. In spite of the enormous size the hotel and the many guests it never crowded. Boredom never comes on, since there are sufficient variety. For who wants it has animation at the beach, the various specialty restaurants there, in the spa let yourself be pampered, relax in several bars, the large evening entertainment in the theatre enjoy, Tennis or playing golf, with the tram the complex explore or in the hotel's own shops browse. But the shops very overpriced. At the end is to say, that it was a totally relaxing, great vacation we this year once again repeat. Gracias por todo! Nos encantaria volver ☺ read hotel review

Super hotel in a dream location, huge area. Very well maintained. Great and helpful staff. Great room-always ocean front, since a dream view. Food and drinks great. Japanese too loud for us, we have therefore the food was not tried. Mexican not good. Prepared. All other just great! Especially la fünte, la Dolce Vita, la brisa (the beach hotel), chez gourmet (the beach hotel), steakhouse and Coral always on the terrace, since inside it was too loud and busy. La comedy a very, very romantic restaurant. Buffet: 1 buffet, if you from the clubhouse is: super, thanks avion for the ... great service! Pool bar el cielo: unique and super service. Thank you to mayra, santa and Victor! Also thanks to mrs. Carmen caminero (club premium) and mr mello (club premium). We feel just wü home and in still no hotel such a great service had. Cleaning staff: great! Whoever complained here, the is not normal! Since the waiters the restaurants change, here are a few names, that you don't forget: Nati (steak or Coral), Nancy currently the japanese (we know from earlier, therefore super service guaranteed), hildania 1st buffet-hostess. Our rooms was several days only at 18:00 o'clock cleaned. We had our pillows exchange, since they sweat and really disgusting stank! - this is in my opinion a bad control the final cleaning-this is a star hotel not happen! Every day there was the same buffet-also at easter. We were in the easter week until easter monday in the hotel - totally overcrowded. 40% russians, 40% of americans (mainly students, the at the pool bar specified itself as if one would be at the Ballermann!) Rest of south americans, german we didn't met! There was too few chairs ... at the pool as well as at the beach. There were already in the morning starting from 6:00 a. m. beach chairs with towels at the best places reserved, so that from 9:00 a. m.-if you want a beach chair-only on the farthest corner were available. Bad it was also, that at the beach no umbrellas set up - the palm trees are some scattered, that you don't have a place in the shade found! (these were already at 6:00 o'clock taken). Us has the complex overall good, but, that it from 3 resorts was-it was just too crowded - especially the lunch-there had from 2:00 p. m. on the 3. floor a restaurant be opened (which the restriction of the buffets, led) Conclusion: if you a relaxing hotel would like to, you can only outside of the vacation time/vacation there again. We will next time back to Iberostar go! read hotel review

A very nice hotel complex with a great beach. The various restaurants leaves nothing to be desired. In spite of the large complex has a private atmosphere. read hotel review

The hotel is amazing and very big. The beach is simply dreamlike. The rooms are clean and the staff very friendly and always to be had for a joke. From the guests were clearly the russians the majority, followed by americans, spanish and a handful of german. There are many shops however very expensive. read hotel review
