For a relaxing beach holiday is the strandhotel just perfect. The beach and the sea are simply fabulous. The sand was powdery and the sea is crystal clear. Also the pool area with jacuzzi is very beautifully designed. Our bungalow wasn't the best but we had booked the cheapest category. Breakfast is completely okay. Haad yao beach is rather small and therefore not completely so lots of restaurants. In the evening it is however very romantic at the beach along to stroll and for 4 days we had also enough alternation. On the street in front of the hotel there ... is also a 7-eleven which was very convenient. read more

Very nice resort, white nice well-kept beach is cleaned daily, enough chairs unfortunately partially already at 6:30 o'clock be occupied! For the chairs at the beach you can at any time pool cushions to borrow. So we understand the criticism from some reviews because of the chairs on the beach without cushions. Sometimes it helps just ask nicely. The sea is really exceptionally beautiful. Unfortunately very many sea cucumbers and sea urchins because of the reef. Reception and check-in without any problems. The frontdesk was very friendly and with the organization of tours will gladly helped. The staff in ... the hotel speaks good english and you are everywhere served in a friendly manner, the bungalows are nice and functional decorated. The bathroom unfortunately already dated but sufficient. You must always hold himself before eyes, that there is no luxury resort is, but a three stars area. If you're looking for luxury is in the wrong place here. The breakfast in our experience unfortunately no that for 3-5 days certainly alright however for a longer period of time but unfortunately very little selection. We would have us more thai dishes for breakfast desired. In the evening very nice barbecue at the beach with daily live music. Shopping possibilities up on the road 7-eleven, as well as currency exchange and an internet cafe. More a bit more expensive shops in the neighboring hotel. So in general the resort is usable and on the first view nicely. But there is also drawbacks the urgent should be rectified! As would be the most important the cleanliness in and around the breakfast. It was often the milk sour or there were from vorfrühstücker the leftovers around the table around distributed which only after asking eliminated. Cutlery many a time dirty and not cleaned properly. The selection at the breakfast is also quite poor which i personally didn't bother me a ' eiermann' is enough. But not at all is, that its table completely set had! Beachfront bungalow but it has a very great location with gorgeous sunsets free house. Beautiful garden in the resort. Pool is clean and tidy and also nice (so why not also in other areas?) Haad yao beach is great. Restaurants mostly with hotelanbindung. Better scooter and on the way better and cheaper food. Conclusion: Location and the surroundings is absolutely great. The resort has flaws, no question, but very simple are drop off! We would recommend this resort to people recommend the nature/beach/setting clear prefer. People the comfort/luxury and star hotel feeling want are wrong here! If we come back to phangan again we would the complex also use again. Fussy, we are now also again not ☺ read more

We had a superior beach front bungalow. The location of the bungalows is great. Directly at the beach the great sunsets. The living/bedroom is well equipped, the bed (a bed on wheels) is not very comfortable. If the partners moves, swings the other in bed with. The bathroom is a catastrophe. A holder for the shower head, as well as a shower curtain in our bungalow already long not more. The sink consists of a lattengestell sunken ceramic. The accompanying faucet was between 2 pales wedged, so that the opening and closing the valves this complete with stage. Continue to ... was mold on the upper wall clad in the bathroom. The room service came every day, needed but not more than 3 minutes. The service consisted of bathroom with the herabhängenden shower durchzuspülen and the living room with a reisbesen auszufegen and the bed to judge.     The room our bungalows was about 25 square meters and good enough. There is a mini fridge and a kettle (calcified ) in the room. A hair dryer is at the front desk can be rented. Telephone and coffee maker does not exist. Air conditioning worked but please do not a closer look at. In front of the entrance to the room there is a small terrace with 2 wooden chairs and 1 small table to put. On condition of toilet/bathroom was already reported, this is simply unacceptable. Even the toilet paper was the last days were only meagerly filled up.

    There was 1 restaurant, 1 pool bar and a beach bar. We had booked accommodation with breakfast. The breakfast was unacceptable. There was toast and 3 different pastries, butter, jam, honey. A warmhalteschale with gemüsereis, one with small sausages and any scheibenwurst, which in the water sponge and a bowl with pancakes and bacon. On the other side stood some fruit (bananas in 14 days only 2 times). Further stand 3 fizzy drinks to choose from (water and 2 fruit juices), as well as coffee, tea and milk. At a state were eggs fried. These were the only edible. The cleanliness the glasses, cups, and silverware left much to be desired. The tables were only initially set with silverware.     The arrival accessed through the airport of koh samui. From there we were met with a minibus to the ferry terminal stituents. There we had to then about 2,5 hours wait on the ferry. The trip to koh phangan takes about 20 minutes. Because of, the ferries unpunctual run, was also from the hotel no shuttle at the pier of koh phangan present. We had again 45 minutes with glowing heat on the taxi wait. So we ourselves a taxi for 500 Bhat the resort it. To arrival at the hotel we were told, that the bungalow still not is prepared. Another hour with glowing heat to wait. An apology or a soft drink there was not. Only 2 towels for the pool. But what can i do, if on the way there the bath things in the suit-cases were stowed away... That was the start in the bucket. For shopping there is a small 7-eleven market and 2 clothes shops, as well as 2 travel agencies (where currency exchange is possible ) on the main street in front of the hotel. Further purchase possibilities (expensive) are located in the beach. Every evening at the beach grilled. The nachbarresorts offer every evening food at the beach at. You sit right at the waterfront with the meal, which we felt as pleasant.

The long bay resort was our 2. stop on our 17 day thailand trip, in which we 4 nights sleep. We had a garden hut (bungalow ) with breakfast booked. It is a large resort with a beautiful well-kept garden area. Daily leaves meet and kept everything clean. The long bay resort is the largest resort on haad yao beach, but nevertheless quiet and quaint. If you are looking for party and night life are looking for, is here wrong. In the capital thong hall you can find safe a few bars and pubs. Wlan was the front desk and ... in the restaurant available free of charge. Unfortunately worked it to our time only once perfectly. Of course, you can for a fee wi-fi for the room activated. read more

    We have a garden hut booked. The bungalow was in ' stilts' and had a balcony, equipped with wooden furniture. At the beach you could snorkel equipment and canoes can be rented free of charge. Also found two times a week a snorkeling in the pool instead of.     The hotel is about 9 kilometers away from the capital thong hall (about 25 minutes by the taxi, since the island very hilly and the roads not any more the newest). In thong hall are we with the ferry lomprayah koh samui arrived. On the pier there are plenty of group taxis (thong hall-haad yao beach 200 Bhat per person) is required. Right next to the hotel at the street there is a 7-eleven convenience store, two clothing stores, a tourist information center and two/three restaurants. The bungalows were located scattered in a very well maintained park and see freshly painted and friendly. Everywhere on the complex are piece for piece things exchanged or things spruced up. Since a couple of weeks there is Chris the new hotel manager. He wanted in the next few weeks the staff partly exchanges and in the restaurant some change. read more

    We had a deluxe cottage pool side and were very satisfied. Cottage big and clean, but quite simply furnished. Air conditioning, safe, kettle with coffee and tea, as well as small tv available. Everything you need. Bathroom very poor. Next to of the toilet there is a ' pimpel' for congestion, the then many a time times used. Our shower area had no curtain and the water jet the shower could be a little more powerful (in longer hair can hair wash then already times a little while). Hot water gave it by the geysers but always enough. Very nice the terrace at the cottage. Cleaning of the rooms ok.

    Here 4 stars because of the bbqs evenings... Times at the beach, times in the restaurant. Good, fresh selection at fish and meat with delicious side dishes and salad buffet. Breakfast rather modest. There is breakfast from 7 o'clock, however there was nothing really ready (coffee and tea still cold). There were no asian dishes. Only an egg station, toast, bacon, sausage, cooked ham in hot water, pancakes, changing fruit. Is enough however perfectly in order to become full.

    Service a little slow, but hard. With arrival it was a little chaotic as the consideration concerned, but the manager worried then personally care of that. Took unfortunately a little to finally they sorted out. English from the hotel manager very good from the rest of the employees rather modest, but you could somehow nevertheless communicate.     Really beautiful, clean pool area, very suitable and deep enough for swimming laps. Small whirlpool available.     Perfect for us! The long bay enjoys an idyllic location directly on the beautiful sandy beach haad yao with lying off reef where we while snorkeling some colorful fish could see. We had during the day mostly flood and the evening low tide which was ideal for us. Transition from the beach into the sea partly something mussels/corals laced, but not so strong that shoes needed. At the beach itself plenty of restaurants/bars where you could eat very well. On the road a few shops, again restaurants, a 7 elven, a pharmacy and a mailbox (the postcards are home even arrived). In the morning, there was a beach with fruit. After thong hall you need about half an hour.

Property is rated the VIP bungalow, since our reservation for a beach front bungalow was lost, and we after two days in a garden bungalow (absolutely not recommendable) on these have been upgraded. foreign languages skills overall at the front desk very modest-even in English only the standard phrases memorized, and to questions are rarely a satisfactory answer. complaints ( for example lost reservation) were from the Australian hotel- manager satisfactory and quickly resolved, without intervention would have been probably not an acceptable solution had been offered. seafood BBQ very recommendable, breakfast as usual in Thailand not very pleasant and ... diverse but absolutely sufficient. beach and pool very well maintained. A nice small complex with great well maintained garden next to northern end the beach. Different types of bungalows spread out generously in the garden, around the huge pool, as well as directly at the beach. We had one of the renovated beachfront bungalow booked, the interior was completely sufficiently with new timber flooring, except for the large, but well, probably in need of renovation bathroom. The sea view the roofed terrace was unbeatable and just three steps to the beach. In the front of the hotel and the sides open restaurant with tables on the patio too was ideal ... for breakfast and lunch snack, evenings were at the beach tables built and the bbq could not excessive prices so rather each request fulfilled. The only point of criticism the minimal existing, but completely desolate chairs on the beach and the 3% fee for payment with credit. At the 'always hard-working' front desk managed with the 2. attempt a Suzuki Jeep for a day trip on the island to rent, price 1000 Bhat and passport as deposit! read more

For a relaxing hotel very suitable, tongsala is good 1/4 hour away and easily with the taxi to reach. Beach and pool will. Cleaned daily, there is also a few Corals and fishes in the sea to gestaunen. Definitely at the evening barbecue participate, very delicious and the grill master is full of fun. Some supermarkets and restaurants there are in the immediate area. Very nice it is up in the high life, where you can very good food and cocktails slurp, and has a magnificent view best with sunset. Apart from that definitely Moped or taxi rent, for a ... total cost about 60, -on the day the island orbit, price beforehand. read more

We felt very much at ease there and every day enjoyed, however is this hotel for couple with children conditionally suitably (no playground, no child care or animation), very quiet. So, a good location, only for relaxing! read more

    Room itself has about 5 times 5 meters wooden floor, wood furnishing, air conditioning available and worked well, safe the room available. terrace with comfortable Wooden furniture. in our room we had Wi-Fi Front desk. Do not know whether in the whole area is the case. Wi-Fi was free. the bungalows are certainly already somewhat older. I think, that in regular conditions the bungalows in maintained. bathroom is just definitely not the nicest but was also OK. You must itself for showering just take time because the water pressure is very low ☺ if the water cold is must thermal bath somewhat raufdrehen.

    breakfast was really great. When we were there however no buffet, but we had to go on a note mark what you wanted. there was :-coffee/ tea, eggs in all variations (one could also bacon and sausages to do so), toast with jams, Pancakes with honey (was great), fruit (banana, melons, Pineapple,...) evening there was a BBQ with fresh fish, Fleispieße, maize, baked potatoes and salad buffet. Hotel guests had -20%. Normal Restaurantgerichte we actually never eaten.

    staff was really very friendly. In the evening played the Hotelburschen with the chef? (a rather more corpulent man ☺ Football and guests were also always welcome. foreign languages skills solala. At the front desk has a man really good English spoken. In the restaurant was a waiter very hard-working English to learn and has therefore also every day always something with us entertained. But it was very nice and not pushy. room cleaning every day full reasonable. complaints we had no so I can't comment.

    I take it with 6 suns it was exactly what we wanted. White powder beach, the palm trees, almost no people. Sometimes we were at our beach section the only and now and again is time if vorbeispaziert. in approximately 300 meters distance is the ' village center' consisting of about 8 shops. One of them is a 7-11, currency exchange and Internet cafe available. Also automats for credit cards. possibilities for excursions were offered but we didn't use it. entertainment possibilities does not exist really. There are at the beach very lots of restaurants (the only in the evening at the beach build) but really pub are not really.

Great hotel by the beach. We are in our 4 week Thailand trip for one week the long bay resort descended. Firstly, we wanted only three days stay. We liked it so well, that we love not any more wanted to go to. The welcoming at the reception was thai friendly. As at the time of our holiday the hotel was quite empty and many bungalows empty were we had free choice. We decided for a pool front bungalow in the first row - great sea view and on the pool. The bungalow was large and clean - nice and ... tastefully decorated. The bathroom was thai spartan-but always clean. The minibar was always filled-reasonably priced completely okay. The beautiful white sandy beach was clean and tidy. The breakfast was ok. The highlight was but the evening candelight dinner directly at the beach. Furthermore, the diligent staff tables with candles directly at the beach on. There, you could directly to the fresh fish from the select the in front of our eyes put on the grill was. In addition one could fresh salad from the small buffet to get itself-just lovely! The hotel is inviting to get some rest and relax a. The huge and well-kept garden facility reflects the overall condition of the hotel again. Unreservedly for independent travelers recommended. read more

beautiful bungalows in a larger area. Location right on the beach. Reef available, however there was no beautiful corals, therefor but nicer fish. At low tide, very difficult to get into the sea, because of the coral. Pool is huge and quite deep. Food was very good, with a variety of fresh fish with good weather. Very friendly service. The room was cleaned every day. read more

If you with a smile and a bit of pioneering spirit of minor shortcomings can overlook, for example of the lack of water pressure in the shower, very basic bathroom, a verunglückter coffee for breakfast, shabby looking beach-you can feel quite like in paradise. The setting on the beach is breathtaking, the perfect place to chill out. The beach pubs are simple and with a nice atmosphere and reasonably priced and delicious food, you shouldn't expect luxury here but not. In The hinterland for the service. One is well advised, to rent a scooter and to explore the neighborhood on ... your own. Most likely, this beach destination for enthusiasts, divers and swimmers or Dschungeltrekker. You will not be entertained, must still be sufficient unto themselves. If you come here with this approach and with fresh nature and friendly people look forward to-you will enjoy it! read more

Thai Pure Relaxation! A wonderful, well-kept area with many palms, tropical plants and a one-time Views of the green mountains. The bungalows were located directly on the beach and the beautiful pool are awesome. The beach is definitely one of the best on the island. The breakfast was ok. Our daughter every day with the funny dogs played on the beach. Again at any time. read more

Plant directly on the sea. The bungalows are a very nice pool. We had a bungalow with view of the sea. The room room was large and clean with tv. The bathroom was very spacious and functional. Every bungalow had a small porch with table and chairs. The rooms Ladies cleaned every day very clean. The breakfast was ok former, as only a few guests were there, there was no buffet, but you could order a la carte. The breakfast is served in the restaurant overlooking the sea. There is a small bar right on the beach. The staff is ... very nice and friendly former. We would go again. read more

The whole hotel area is very, very simple and more something for young people who are not fussy. This resort is run by young people and a lot of dogs. With recovery was rather bad, as is day and loud music night announced. The beach chairs were very shabby and break with the smallest movement. The bathroom was moldy and the shower has only one shower jet, so many people have the shower by the pool used. On this island there are much nicer areas, we would definitely not recommend this resort! read more

We have never stayed Germany three nights. In the resort we were gobsmacked when we arrived, it was dead. Resort, pool, restaurant and beach were Menschenlos. Our bungalow was rather creepy. Dark, very musty, the floor creaked with every step, the closet smelled sour like urine. The beds were hard, the mattress had a plastic Protection under the sheet with (probably good hygiene but schwitzgefahr). The bathroom with toilet was typical of many Thai island bungalows. Opened Windows with insect grill, shower area without distinction (everything gets wet), sink without the possibility of file. The tiles and the seams were ... unhygienic. Have at the first trip to the toilet Visit of two huge roaches get. This could capture I then with two glasses. Try to remember in all trip to the toilet for everyone. The beach was a real dream. The setting was even for thailand unique. Unfortunately, we couldn't go into the water, the tide was so strong that the water minutes hundred meters wsj. Then we saw the many stone chips, clams rock and beach chairs. Swimming is almost not possible in my opinion. Along the beach there were a few bungalows the evening the restaurant on the sandy beach built. The Atmosphere at the Food is very, very nice. Unfortunately, we were the only guests. We could only a few local at the Fooling around watching. Otherwise it was rather boring. The food was great. Everything is well lit and there was music. In certain places at the beach sections very, very dark. A flashlight is useful. Simply because of the many dogs in order to draw attention to it. On the beach was no beach chairs provided by the hotel. By the pool there were no umbrellas. Outside of the hotel area there was nothing! There was a small shop on the street. A Seven Eleven. You could buy the most necessary things. Water, cigarettes and chips. Sun cream etc. otherwise there was far and wide nothing. For us it was too much of the island feelings. The first night you should also be the last. We had booked bed/breakfast buffet. In the restaurant was however nobody, it smelled of coffee, there was no breakfast! When we tried a staff around us. This was however unfortunately also with their hands tied behind their backs. We sat in the restaurant and were allowed to say what we like to have for breakfast. We wanted coffee, juice, Toast, jam, cold cuts and cheese, a little scrambled eggs with bacon and fruit. Sounds like a lot, is however actually a normal thailand-hotel breakfast. Normally I eat even thai fried rice to have. After some time the waiter Coffee, four slices of toast and a bowl with honey. Two old bananas and twice juice. Everything else was unfortunately not available. Uiuiui, that was too much for us. The solitude, boredom, dirt, and then the lack bungalow sunshades and the lack of breakfast. Now it is, what should we make the whole day? We burn, smoky bungalow in the tv-Thai programs look? okay, the hotel has wireless internet access. Netbook of, internet access, and a Spa with agoda on samui booked. We stayed at the front desk announced immediately check out. We why we go. The response was: 'no refund'! Oh thank you very nice! We have not expected. As compensation I could at least a transfer the pier to organize. It was a day koh phangan, he was nice and disappointing. We stayed for about two weeks on samui in Chaweng noi beach. For us it was the best combination of relaxation, dream beach and entertainment Possibilities. Long bay resort, I would even I would again if more was happening and the hotel hundred % works. To relax but still 2-3 days maximum. As we stay experienced never again! read more
