I would recommend this hotel not as good. I have never experienced anything like that. Dirty rooms, tölettenspülung broken, from the hair dryer came sparks, windows before dirt not open properly, hot food was always cold, many building sites and they were not secure. Accounts after 2 nights the hotel change. Won't stay there again! read hotel review

The hotel celebrated in october its 83. birthday. One of the first on the Varadero. You can see that the hotel, but guests is much renovated and renewed. Very extensive area, many individually standing houses and beautiful garden. Rooms functional and the size is ok. Staff was very friendly and each desire is fulfilled. Reception on deficiencies and very cooperative. Manager speaks good german and is very helpful The greatest for me the very beautiful langegezoge extensive beach. Lots of space and many beautiful, quiet corners. If you are not comfortable, it was your own fault. Food extensive and good. ... And that around the clock. Food could be more choice, but you could always find something. In Cuba probably too spicy not usual. if you something to complain about find, could always find something. And the only and at all complain, should not be 3 stars and 5 stars expect. And it is Cuba and not Germany. I was now for the 3 time in this hotel and will come again this year. read hotel review

Never again kawama. Standard rooms were the last muck. Even deluxe rooms were not better. Strong ölgerüche in the not, the us situation and for nausea made. Perfect holiday! But only if you land and people repektiert. Can the worst reviews not understand. The hotel is directly at the beach, there was a little rust and mold inevitable, but were the employees all very pleasant to us. But if you, of course, with a face like 7 days rainy weather was okay and constantly grouses, i would have no bock those to operate. All people died ieses hotel so badly to evaluate should rather vacation at home and not on vacation with your poor mood nerves. Wanted after the first day a different room since our a ... shared balcony and have very pleasant with the lady from the reception spoken. On the next day we had a great room but for us with directly at the beach(room 4507, 4505 is however even better). However as mentioned you have to stop normal with the people talking about. Sometimes one must for his countrymen to be ashamed of, as with the employees bypass (of which are actually some academics, only they deserve in the hotel more). We would go there anytime again. And the one after eating times one or two Peso there is for me anstandssache and has anything with grease to do. Benefits from the hotel are: Right on the hotel is a bank Great beach Food was good ( there was fish, turkey, pork, delicious ice, pasta, salads, rice) No hotel bunker as often in Varadero Pleasant staff Disadvantages: Canadians and all the no show respect Tips: Money in the bank (better than in the hotel) Cigars in Trinidad buy Trip Havanna, buena vista social club (with vip ), Trinidad overnight were totally great Catamaran with butterfly isn't recommendable( 100 people while snorkeling in the water and the poor dolphin in a small basin imprisoned and must constantly dämliche tricks make). read hotel review

Ekelhotel all inclusive. Too many canadians-loud! We booked the most expensive room superior beach villa on Neckermann and got the last moldy dog kennel. Travel guide locally didn't really help. Arrogant, made in spanish about us fun and was stupid. Front desk lier already at the check-in- sorry, the rooms are not finished yet, the craftsmen are still inside. Was not correct, the room was still occupied. 'beach villa 802' not check in-next to disco and the air ventilation of the restaurant- no relaxation possible. Room 801, the mold was over-coated, right afterwards could there guests be changed. The total ... catastrophe! Untidy facilities, front desk rude, food carelessly displayed, mass processing in the restaurant, dirty and moldy room. Really dangerous. We need vacation from the vacation, no recreation value. For €1,550 no value for money! The absolute Neckermann-rip-off, that is unacceptable, never again! read hotel review

Hotel in general: The second-oldest hotel in Varadero is at the start extensive hotel area, not far from numerous bars, restaurants and souvenir shops. The hotel kawama composed of two-story bungalows together, in a Relatively large park with a directly at the beach are. The complex seemed reasonably maintained, if one does not look exactly and not too picky. In the center this facilities is the large pool area, consisting of a large pool with different schwimmtiefen and a children's pool, which unfortunately besides business was. The pool itself seemed well-kept and is cleaned every day. Unfortunately in many places ... are strong signs of wear recognizable in the form of peeled off color and broken tiles. Pool bar: Directly at the pool convenient, open plan and under a palmendach. This bar we only twice short visit, since this bar totally neglected and dirty. Our really personal opinion: The dishes were more or less tasty, the presentation a catastrophe, and the preparation, they were unimaginative. This applies to lunch and dinner, the breakfast was a bit better however not measurable with european standards. In short is:2 weeks almost always the same. Really bad! Perhaps now some readers think we were just a little too sensitive. Because we since many years even catering work, i would stress once again, that this achievement even for a perhaps existing economy scarcity an isolence was. With a little attention to product and a little imagination one could great varied dishes in buffet form charms can. Because of whose we moved often before, the neighbouring restaurant to visit, where apparently no economy scarcity was excellent prepared meals and cocktails served got. Btw: for a german average wage earner and normal absolutely affordable. à la carte restaurant: In the hotel complex there were 2 à-la-carte -restaurants which one at the front desk morning without auxiliary costs can book. One has the choice between an 'international' and a 'italian' restaurant. We booked one night at the italian restaurant. The furnishing was okay and also ageing. It seemed clean and tidy. The tables were set and the service was attentive and accommodating the selection of food is low consisting of 3 soups a few pasta, 4 different pizzas 2 fish dishes and a little dessert. The quality was comparable with the buffet restaurant. Room: In Germany we booked through a travel agency this hotel. We reserved superior room and they assured us in the travel agency this room better equipped and renovated its. Unfortunately we forgot about to ask, when the renovation had taken place. Room rather small, equipped with a safe ( you have 30 cuc extra pay),tv and coffee machine without coffee. A fridge is available and upon arrival there is one bottle water which one at the bar refill could. The bed was clean, around we initially not look. The bathroom was a catastrophe. Ceiling in the full bathroom mildewed, window nailed up and blind painted toilet worked with a cord. Amateurs and shower heads worked only moderately all joints were also of mold infested. The hair dryer defect. This could also after 14 days not be repaired. By constant maintenance of the maid service in the form of tips, it our room better to clean, so we were reasonably comfortable. In short: We booked this year our vacation very short and since many years once again as a flat rate of all inclusive. This will give us never again happen. Very little emphasis on quality and value for money sets, is very well taken care off in this hotel. This is a report of a frustrated tourist, legendlich a situationsbericht i even locally wrote. Horrortrip in hotel kawama! We have to 3 days the hotel changed! Room dirty, moldy, broken furniture, dirty and worn out mattresses and to top it off, outrageous and ignorant front desk employee! The complex is at a beautiful beach but this also applies to other hotels to. The staff in this complex ignore a guest so long until the either give a tip something service to purchase or to this after about 15 minutes with drinks and cutlery lays. Tables in the restaurant always dirty and the waiters converse among themselves! If you want something relaxation and be comfortable ... should not this hole book! read hotel review

The location is perfect, staff are very friendly, food plentiful if you early there is unfortunately lacks cutlery, however therefor there was every afternoon and evenings for the food life - music. The rooms are okay every day clean towels and 2 times the week the bed sheets were changed. Animation there were not (z U lazy, sit the entire day at the pool) at the front desk no change money you will Vera. Not all bars are open but you could get the whole ( 24 hours) eating and drinking. If you three stars bay and no 4 stars ... you can be satisfied. We will be back back. read hotel review

We, couple, were with the selection of the hotel very satisfied. You can see in every corner, that the requirement the trouble when it comes to cleanliness goes. Are all friendly and accommodating. The food was varied and (against other reviews) well seasoned. Otherwise stood in the restaurant always a few types of ketchup, Tabasco and other ingredients. Beach was clean. Only what was missing was the right entertainment in the evening. But they are now building a new canopy for the entertainment. If you don't have any 5-star (in three star hotel) have expectations then you can enjoy the ... vacation. Extensive grounds, with a beautiful garden, friendly staff, complaints were handled promptly. The hotel is about 80 years old and the air conditioning is also to his contribution. The best vacation was the day the way home! Hotel in many areas very run-down and disgusting and dirty! Room totally dirty, old furniture on falling apart and every day trouble with electricity respectively water pressure! Front desk to 90% unfriendly, arrogant and the guest not the bean interested! The food is very bad, zerkocht, half roughly, almost always cold, not seasoned and even the fruit -if there was something-is immature! Waiter note A only if one often tip has been made! Many guests in the hotel were almost around the clock drunk! The beach is quite nice, but it ... is also other hotels! For the price you get in the cathedral. Republic or Cancun a real hotel with delicious food and no property where the guests than inconvienience of the staff occurs! Otherwise is the one in Varadero no respectively hardly any infrastructure finds! Except che guevara T-shirts and other tourists rip-off you hardly find shops or something else for shopping. Nearby to the hotel you will find also nothing special, an average pizzeria and 2-3 snacks (comida rapida). read hotel review

If three stars book and only the pay, I can't 5-star comfort expected and just over small inadequacies in look and when a complaint has, it will read done for superb but with Cuban peace. But there was a magnificent beach and a azure blue sea With 27 degrees warm water and large, shallow bathing area. Furthermore, there were free beach chairs and sun screens in sufficient quantity (without 05 hours place anytime) and you can the peace and quiet at the beach enjoy, without a beach vendors on pestering. read hotel review

I was 2 times in Cuba 1995 Trinidad/2012 were in the room requirement we had written' beautiful room with garden view ' right after occupation of the room we went to complaint went air conditioning moldy, ceiling, the cleaner down, room damp and musty, the bathroom was dirty, the pictures in the brochure from the time the hotel still was young, old rancid Butter are then on the second day to the hotel Palma real moved. read hotel review

If you're on an adventure vacation stands should definitely the hotel kawama book. The hotel was one of the first on the ground and soist also the state of the hotel and the whole area. Since Jahrzähnten nothing more renovated, everything was damp and moldy. As I entered my room had took it takes my breath away so bad it had that smell. I welcomed dead Geklatschte insects of the Flurwand followed by a horrible room. The air conditioning. It was so thick filthy. The world never seen! You'd get the lighted make du under guarantee the mites dead died. ... The had lived! The bathroom was Moldy and damp, no water drain in the floor, toilets Lid broken, cleaner fell from the cover. Beach chairs worn out and moldy. Have on the same day the hotel Changed. I wanted to 2 weeks relaxation and no 2 weeks SURVIVIL Camp. Never ever again.! read hotel review

I was already for the 2 times in kawama and will gladly come back... Not the cleanest hotel but overall ok. Value for money we thought OK. Food is took some getting used to (badly peppered and often only still lukewarm) but you can also very cheap to eat (enough pub in the area). There are also 3 theme restaurants in the hotel which one however must book. Location of the hotel is dreamlike... On foot everything is reachable. There are buses with which one everything to reach can. Beach is clean and simply dreamlike! Pool is clean and cozy. read hotel review

great location, great beach, however you must be aware, that Cuba is not Europe. If you are not a five star hotel on Mauritius used to is, is in kawama certainly be satisfied. Understand the bad reviews not. My tip: when you call into the forest in-calls, then it comes back. With a little tip the cleaning of the rooms also great. I would again at any time won't go into. Excursions don't forget! Havana is a must. read hotel review
