The Hotel Tropical Manaus has its best times behind itself. Annoyed me especially the lousy service, since one already times 20 minutes have to wait until the order to be taken. One of my buddies had more than an hour for a pizza wait, although we our food long had. Also the cleanliness of the rooms leaves a lot to be desired: Thick layers of dust in closets and drawers and once I had even hundreds of small spiders in my shoes! Now, I am not a soul, over all complained and already in very bad again experienced was, but ... for a' luxury hotel' it is already very poor. If you are not an extremely reasonable price for the nights is charged as we did, you should better elsewhere. read more

The hotel is very big, not only the hotel. There is on the premises otherwise two pool areas, a zoo, several restaurants and bars. The hotel is altogether also very clean. The breakfast was also very good. The only, the to complain about, is the age of the hotel, which one unfortunately observes. read more

    The food in the bistro ( the only thing, that we tried) is good, the atmosphere however somewhat cool. In the lounge, it was beautiful.

    The staff are always hard and worries about a. However greets it is not, if you staff in the hallway is. Otherwise are the waiters only fake friendly-and this is quite remarkable. On our room was despite 3.-occupancy everything only in double execution available. In principle, this is no worse mistake, however you had to the staff reiterate instructions, that the request should be more.

    The zoo is for children safe beautiful entertainment, however one wondered, if the, the only a few kilometres away in the wild life, really the zoo engesperrt to live. The pool was reasonable, however also getting a bit old. A lamp in the pool hung on half eight and didn't work, something fear of a electric shock you get there, but it is nothing happened. The other pool was full water, since however no staff were, one had the impression, he is not to use since. Pool tables are also available.

    The hotel lies close to at the airport, which is good for the transfer is, but there are no noise from the planes. As well it is on the popular badeabschnitt of manaus, however here at the time (August 2012) a majority of construction, which was not disturbing, but at least it was not so much going on, as you had expected. Otherwise the bathing in the river there discouraged, as the water was dirty. To other restaurants and shops you had to take a taxi.

The hotel is very getting old. Staff can English understand still speak, the water ran down from the ceiling in the room. Pool not cleaned, everything very Dirtily, never again this hotel. One has no possibilities nearby to go to eat or for shopping. The hotel is far and wide the only thing. Food under everything became. Wanted times mustard and the waiter brought me Parmesan cheese. Wanted a Peffermühle and got a new Knife. I shall not say read more

A beautiful hotel area-but a bit getting old (for example, carpets in the rooms). The rooms are large and tidy. We had never had a hotel with so long hallways seen! We had dinner from the buffet in the restaurant. But you can also cheaper food. Varied and tasty buffet is the. The hotel has a nice pool area, but we couldn't have used and a small zoo. Only a few meters to the beach of the Rio Negro, where it is especially in the morning and in the evening the view sea can. read more

The first room had parquet flooring and made a good first impression in the bathroom was destroyed. This was moldy and not to use. A second view in the room and on the bed, showed that I would not sleep. Front desk was polite at the I and got moved to new room. This was the bed and bathroom much better, but the carpet was old and dirty. Definitely not walk barefoot on it I gave us! The time when the Hotel got five stars and the best thing about this place was (as we were told) are long over. ... Will stay the again a probe in the Amazon flies. Conclusion: I had on the trip hotels with fewer stars were Better and cleaner. It is also possible in Manaus to get better. read more

In the Thomas cook-catalog with four stars hotel is run down and reasoned in desperate need of a reorganization outside as well as from the inside. Not to be recommended. Poor grade. It has well-intentioned two star rating. So the price per night is a disgrace. read more

Hotel a bit dark. Is mainly used for Amazon-stays. Rooms were okay, bathroom damp, slight mold. We only stayed 1 night, not a luxury hotel, but at the prices. read more

This hotel has not deserved any five star, but not more than two. Set up on the state of 70er years. Worn-out and dirty room. The dinner was served in a large hall. This house has been renovated in the last 30 years, probably not more. The food was inedible buffet. Conclusion: never again this hotel! read more

5 star right in the middle of the jungle?!. The first house at the place, that clearly exists, that competition is even worse. The first positive impression the disillusionment of the second impression. For a windchimes (and the corresponding complaint) I was upgraded accordingly. At first glance very opulent with two wet areas and two large rooms. Unfortunately the rooms were in a desolute condition, cleanliness is obviously a foreign word. A carpet on which was quite reluctant to walk without shoes, various stains (here each his own imagination will) and a smell, reminiscent of a Turnbeutel. The breakfast was ... enjoyable! But not more! Dinner etc. please stay away. Canteen in the atmosphere of a train station hall to Courmetpreisen is not really recommendable! Safe cost extra. Great hotel, at the opinions to the share. The atmosphere was good and the proximity to the airport, as well as the atmosphere. On the other hand, the so-called bad hotel's zoo, where a poor big cat in bad Verhaltnissen life must, and the location, unless you like Manaus bescihtigen would like to. The hotel is located in the better area (Punta Negra), held by the the Ausfleuge. Before the hotel is a great public beach area, the beautiful and lively is very.
