Exceptionally friendly staff. Each of the staff members were so accommodating. This is one in the center and the bars/ restaurants not used. The ladies and men in Bardolino should times the service the staff of the hotel GARDENIA & villa charm orientation. If next summer which is free, is the first address. read more

Everything is perfect. Great breakfast, decent, very clean rooms. Very friendly staff. Only a small walk to the sea or to the center. You will be welcomed and verabschieded as good friends. All, from the chef to the cleaning staff, are friendly, attentive, always friendly and anytime is an ear to lend for requests. We were already 5 times here and come gladly again at any time. read more

The hotel Gardenia is located approximately 10 minutes out from the center bardolino in a quiet side street, but nevertheless very close to the lake. Suburb you will find a rather smaller and more comfortable hotel with a few rooms ( circa 20) which optically very tidy and clean is. However a rather typical standard hotel without much modernity. Everything was very simple and the style a bit dated. In the hotel itself there are merely breakfast or but also small snacks at lunch. The guests came while we were there mostly from Germany ( south). Mostly older people or ... couple. Children only a few. The hotel has 2 pools ( normal and salt water), as well as a small jacuzzi. Furthermore there was at the villa charm ( with that) also the possibilities suites and apartments to rent. Bike rent for a fee was also offered and wi-fi for 5 Euro ( total stay). read more

    Altogether were the rooms already reasonable. We had a panorama room on the attic storey. The view was fantastic, but on the roof terrace you could the view standing enjoy. On the other floors was the beautiful, since you then also times comfortably on the balcony sitting the view could be enjoyed. The size of the room was sufficient and the furnishing was clean and in good condition. But everything was very dated. Our bathroom was ample for the size and quite tastefully. Air conditioning worked well and also otherwise, everything was necessary available ( free safe, mini bar, hair dryer). Only the closet was a cheek. 8 clothes hangers and 2 shelves. With 13 days stay simply too little so that we live out of a suitcase had. Altogether a tidy room, but also nothing special, I would say, that it is 6 star rating. Specially for this price. There are also more favorable hotels on lake Garda with similar quality.

    The review relates merely to our taste. For Italian standards is the breakfast already clearly better, than in the most other hotels. Fresh warm drinks, on request even omelet, fried egg or scrambled egg, many fruit, muesli, pastry, and sausage, marmelade, original nutella. Everything wonderful, however helps us it all nothing, if you only little choice the bread has. Brown bread, kürbiskernbrötchen, toast and a art ciabatta bread. To us normal rolls eater unfortunately no that optimal, since everything else not really our taste. Furthermore for vegetarians a bit stupid, that there are no pieces of cheese gave, but only thick piece ( type cube). Nevertheless was the quality too many outstanding and for most, the not so frühstücksfans are, certainly a respectable breakfast, but not with German large breakfast buffet can be compared. Furthermore the available space was very limited. In case of bad weather you had to already avoid the bar, because it was too full, or a couple of minutes wait for a table. At lunch you could then still snacks order. However everything fertigsachen you on every corner gets and also not particularly great tasted. It was worth it in the palafitte rather a small pizza or noodles to eat, which is not much more expensive.

    We were now already very often in Italy and the lake Garda, but this hotel offers amazing service. The friendliness is great and you are always willing to help. All spoke wonderful German and the rooms were tip top cleaned. However we were unfortunately a lot not alone communicated. There is for example in the restaurant palafitte for the hotel guests 10% discount. We have 2 days before departure experienced, but it already 10 times before there for lunch and dinner. Otherwise you can also the welcome card get, what we also quite late have learned. Where you can get on some discount ( restaurants, sights, cruises, etc.). So you could as hotelier uS perhaps be attentive to do. I am sure we would have a lot of money saved.

    As I have already mentioned, there were 2 pools. The pool right on the hotel was very small and the space around the pool very small. Chairs were directly at the pool edge and around you could hardly walk. The pool the villa was a bit bigger and a bit open respectively more space. You feel like you were not so cramped and it was all a bit beautiful. And the tatood main street nearby disturb hardly. There was clearly pleasant. Chairs were however tight, but it probably to the guests arrives. In the first week came people later at the pool and have no space find it anymore. Afterwards it got a bit better. The hot tub is unfortunately rather a small whirlpool. Really on temperature he came and the jets were way too weak. You could have everything higher can adjust themselves, but the hotel the setting and blocked than the service. Relax in the hot tub is here not really the case.

    The location is off course matter of taste. One must evenings already a couple of minutes in the town, has it but also quiet at the hotel. We personally find this very pleasant and the way leads are wonderful promenade. Directly at the hotel there is also a wonderful pizzeria ( palafitte).

The hotel has several parts: a main building, opposite a villa and about 300 meters away a small complex with vacation apartments. All the areas were very clean, very nice, but different furnished. There is every part a pool. The rooms are air-conditioned, with the summer temperatures of over 35° very pleasant was. The hotel offers nights with breakfast. The arrival is very nice, as you will very friendly welcome and one served as a welcome a Cappuccino or sparkling wine. It is very nice so to arrive. read more

    We had a vacation apartment with 3 rooms and balcony, booked with breakfast included. The complex is brand new and has about 8 apartments and a small underground car park. The rooms aren't very big, but sufficient. The furnishing is very modern, rather simply, which we appreciated a lot. The kitchen is with crockery, what is missing is a coffee- or espresso machine.

    The breakfast buffet was great: fresh fruits, different types of bread, muesli, yoghurt, different cakes, several kinds of good ham, salami, cheese, eggs, on request also fried eggs or scrambled eggs, fresh tomatoes, juices, coffee, Cappuccino, tea, sparkling wine. It left hardly anything to be desired. The breakfast room was nicely furnished, the breakfast nicely arranged, everything was clean, the tables after every use immediately cleaned and newly restocked.

    This really was the best of the wonderful hotel: the staff were great! angefangem in the cleaning staff, over service staff and the owner, which actually always were present. Friendly, helpful, very nice! Most hotel people speak Italian, English and German.

We felt by the inclusion and Umgehensweise during the entire stay extremely felt at ease. Rooms and premises are in very good condition. Must be stressed the breakfast, this really leaves nothing to be desired. Alone through the lovely and friendly art of the staff we would choose this hotel again. The hotel is nice, quite compact, which means little but sufficient capacity for cars, by the pool, for breakfast, in the room and so on but scores the hotel with its central peaceful location, very friendly staff and cleanliness. Anytime again for a short stay! read more
