The rooms were big, also the bathroom. A small terrace with 2 loungers and a small table was in front of the room. The lighting of the terrace was broken. A window in the room and the window was not close. The previous guests had the window already with toilet paper sealed (see photo).

The food is not nice presented. Mostly is the food only lukewarm. There is buffet with less choice and a chef day 2 dishes extra; spaghetti with tomato sauce, there was always. The atmosphere in the restaurant is not nice ; there is the possibility in the open to eat. For breakfast are teabag and jams only limited to have.

The staff are rather a little bored slow. The rooms can only from 3 o'clock be changed; the ferry to 10.30 at. One should thus in the hand baggage the clothes ready.

The beach wonderful, has fine white sand. There is enough loungers(partly defective). Since before strurm was, was much seaweed washed ashore, the within of 2 days mostly removed. With the ferry at 10 o'clock will be passing trade, the at 17 o'clock again the island leave; a part of the staff also to the mainland.

There are several accommodation: 4 houses with ever 4 room, the remaining rooms are single bungalows from 3 different guys. Not recommendable the old bungalows. We had the building with 4 rooms. Altogether there is 40 room. It will be on time 10 new houses with ever 2 room built. The guests are from all men countries (hardly canadian!). There are compulsorily board, since there is no other possibility to eat there is. A small bar nearby has only snacks. A small shop with necessities, drinks and snacks is on the complex. A public telephone in the store. Cell phone reception is good.

The complex is at the 3 kilometer long beach. Behind the beach is poet mangrove forest.

The view from our room was great. All houses are direct at the beach, with a view of the sea. Nevertheless we were really pleased, as our two nights here were gone. In the three weeks in Cuba we lived in nine different accommodations-this bungalow for us was the worst. Beside the Dauergestank from the bathroom we had with tons of bugs and dirt to fight. The curtains seemed filthy, everywhere it was dirty. Under the sheets on the bed was a plastic foil, the probably the hygiene should be used, but only from sleeping held. from our neighbors on the upper floor we learned, in its room not better was issued. They had for example no toilet paper in the bathroom, and despite repeated Ask at the front desk they got also none.

the food was international. Once there was even lasagna, probably for the vibrant Italian guests. We were full, but one should not delights await. The drinks at the bar were very reasonable, particularly in comparison to Havana.

The service in the bar and in the restaurant was all right, most employees were friendly. A Woman at the front desk spoke English, the rest of the employees Spanish. with the cleaning of the rooms we were however not happy at all. As we bungalow against evening could, suggested a terrible stench from the bathroom to. The bathroom looked, as if it would be already longer not more cleaned have been. We put then a little hands on, so that the disgust least a little decreased. The stench we had in the whole two days receive, probably he came from the lines.

Cayo Levisa is to snorkeling and diving very attractive. To the ferry is the diving base. We stayed this however not tried and can therefore nothing to say. Furthermore, the guests on a small Salsa dancing participate or sunset a sailing tour participate. It was however quite expensive.

Cayo Levisa is a small Mangroveninsel on the north coast of Cuba, the especially of tourists from Havana or area as a part of a day trip guests. From 10 until about 16 o'clock was the island although well attended, but there was at any time sufficient quiet Squares at the beach, as well as also sufficient Hammocks, chairs, etc. Most tourists, the with us here were, languages Italian or English. the bungalows are only possibility of property on the island. Further there was a restaurant, a bar and a diving, as well as a small shop, the two days, we are spent, however constant was closed. our expectations were already relatively deep, as the island we going to. We wanted quiet, remote island with beautiful beach visit and knew, that we of the property not that much expect. Nevertheless we were glad, when we after two nights one could, as we had fall in our bungalow everything other as probably felt.

The island is situated at the north coast of the province of Pinar del Rio. Our car we left in Palma Rubia for approximately 2 CUC per day is possible. Here, in each case in the morning and on later Afternoon a ferry and takes tourists in about 30 minutes on the island, or back. Cayo Levisa itself is a wonderful, largely uninhabited Island, on the you in any case peace can be found. The area is dreamlike - the beach white and fine sand, the sea was turqoise blue and quiet. If we small walk away from the hotel made, we were practically alone.
