Good middle class hotel far outside, ( last hotel on the island). Good choice of meals - but unfortunately always only lukewarm! Very friendly staff. Because the hotel in green surroundings is, much trouble with sand fleas! read more

We are 2 times in this hotel ( the Allegro was down a few notches.) and may it simply. 5 stars it's not, it has seen ist best years, it is renovated, in the hotel in the rooms
But it has so much charm, the complex itself is/would be miracle beautiful, with a lot of nature and animals.
The pool nice, a meeting, the beach also nice, so much the sea also, it is just over a footbridge and if you like snorkeling quiet further out dare, you will see just around a lot more than completely mistresses
The ... staff was bad nice and friendly, informal it is.
The food was this time again rather poor, especially for lunch it is really for search, Fast food there is always, Reiss and meat and salad.
If one remains longer well.
Evening the selection was better only last December it was the taste better
Great decor ( like for instance in the Barcelo Maya) to the theme nights you are looking for. But the chef and asked how it tasted and so on.
Room small but sweet, more one does not need however. If the mattress not fit there is a new, if you sea mini bar needs, call the fill after. And so on.
The diving is still a dream on the island and the tauchscule despite high price, very good
We will to this hotel again and if we had a variety the food will need to rolandis eat out in the town right next to the sea. Lovely lovely good.

As a part of a round trip on our own we here 5 nights over internet booked. Who to diving to Mexique goes should in cozumel definitely a bit of time. The hotel lies directly before the Tauchgründen, which then about the diving boats to be started. We had all-inclusive and were from the hotel altogether absolutely loved it... Lovely area, clean room, great food ( we without problem use)... And good diving school... read more

August is absolute low season to cozumel. Corresponding the hotel was only about 1/3 to 1/2 occupied. 95% of the guests are Americans and Canadians. The few leftover Europeans ( German, Italian, French) you will find at the beach -where the North American guests rarely finds.
Outstanding was the entertainment for my son. The team was super funny. Leaves you but also completely in peace, if you want it.
the staff speaks consistently English. It is unbelievably friendly and helps in all situations.
excursions to cozumel are confined to the capital. Without rental car goes however little. On the ... mainland you can super the peninsula Yucatan explore. We have on own fist in Playa del Carmen a rental car rented and a few days risks. Worked great. Even if after Chichen Itza or further west wants, you should plan to stay.
Mexico in August is in the inland superheiß! Correctly Superheiß and tropical humid.
diving was the reason, us after cozumel has driven. The reefs in cozumel are fantastic. It was beautiful from dive to dive. The diving basis is friendly and competent. The same goes for the boat crews. The diving is badly, but so, that even the experienced Divers have your fun( overall in the morning, if the Tauchzeit not limited). The trip to the cenote is not cheap, but if you already travel all the way to taken has, you should this experience not to be missed. And that is it:an experience, which one gladly also twice or more often experience.

We were already 2010 at this hotel, so is it a great hotel with divers great diving snorkeling totally unsuitable for an almost empty sea is in front of the hotel but for diving, also only two minutes if you drive it is best with the ship, beautiful.

Great hotel, well-kept grounds, great food, decent entertainment, beautiful beach, nice and very friendly staff, fantastic garden area, enough pool chairs and umbrellas at the pool and on the beach.
Dive Center was very good, great service, good service, good equipment. partial super nice dives (maximum 20 m) in about 15 to 30 minutes to reach (without cenotes), sometimes a lot of current.
Disadvantage: sea is actually only on the pier as large rocks on the beach available and the sea not safely can be entered. Little fish at beach-snorkelling (not worth it) read more

It was actually everything, both positive and negative also. The hotel is a bit in the years come and tell you the infrastructure to also. I can only say, this hotel really recommended is. We were to off season and therefore had the luck, rather few guests in the hotel were. This had the advantage of free beach chairs at the beach and also at any point. Whether shade or sun was always available, or both. We had the beach for us alone sometimes. If you like swimming in the sea, but should take bathing shoes with, because the beach is very rocky.
The hotel is located outside the town centre of the island is but with the taxi in about one minute 20 already ... in the middle in the happening. Taxis are always available and will be driven on request.
The staff is really very pleasant and friendly. Also if you have any problems were handled promptly and this one had to be not to worry more. You have always particularly pleased to hear a few words in Spanish. Also, if you were not very good.
The entertainment is considered and varied. But not pushy. You raised is, of course, but a simple 'no, thank you' and the animators smile and leave you alone.
A really great holiday! We would immediately go over there again. read more

We have stayed at the Iberostar cozumel fantastic weeks.
The hotel and the service were really perfect.
It is a small hotel, in our opinion, what was an advantage but only, because it is the only hotel where we have with the hotel manager could play beach volleyball have regularly! ☺
It is absolutely no negatives.
Reviews where the location of the hotel was not as we can see, because you know you on a island and the bay course so something is limited. But also the is no problem, since daily from 7:00 A.M. to 10:00 ... P.M. to each hour a ferry to Playa del Carmen translated.
The prices for ferry, tours, etc. were european. a rental car.
We would not hesitate to spend our holiday there again, because it was a unforgettable time! read more

A beautiful, tropical area, the top is constantly maintained. The paths are never far to, but everything is spacious enough, so that one never on the feet and the area seemed quite empty, as it is. Before all the buffet restaurant is large class, the choice to all meals plentiful and always fresh-it has never to propose to the impression, up to the last remnants, no matter, no matter how late you also to the meal comes. Entertainment is available, but so discreet, is that you never disturbed, if you not want to take part. Who here comes, it wants ... relaxing and quiet, no matter whether as couple or family. The excursion and almost exclusively on shopping opportunities were limited to chankanaab cozumel-and 'city'. The beautiful area with very friendly staff is something off the fabulous end volt cozumel. The beach was mostly American guests only the little used-good for us! Directly on the sandy beach under palm trees with views on the departing ships to the reef-we really enjoyed the stay. The service at the beach bar was OK.
The water is with stone paths so bathing shoes are recommended.
The guests were mostly in the pool area at the pool bar on and used the entertainment. The food in the form of a buffet was rich and good (with burgers and pizza ... station!). A highlight was the food in the a la carte steak restaurant.
In the well-kept garden area you will find flamingos, peacocks and iguanas.
Against the mosquitoes is very active day on insect tour (according to the brochure in the hotel 'with' Naturverträglichem).
The room was OK. On arrival we could unfortunately only cold showers and only after complaining twice the hot water supply was more or less as well. read more

The Iberostar is in a very good condition, where you as a guest, feeling well can. The service is good, the staff is polite and very nice.
The isolation is to take account of this hotel, you need if you want to do something outside of the area, a taxi or a rental car.
For relaxation, you can always find a spot and you must not early to 6:00 a.m., any reserve beach chairs, it is available and there are enough.
The food is very voted on the United States, which also the majority in this hotel.
All ... in all a very relaxing week, before our change to Playa del Carmen. read more
