A small fine hostel. Is a bit out of the way, but we are within 10 minutes to the next S-Bahn station and in 15 minutes right in the city center been. The whole staff was very helpful and courteous. During the next Hamburg visit we will stay here again. read more

The hotel is for a short stay definitely recommendable. For long stay rather less. To the subway you have to walk a bit further, to hagenbecks-zoo, bus however nearby, a Croatian restaurant also. read more

Was the second time in the hostel. Again I was very satisfied.
only fly in the ointment: by the very good price performance ratio also a clientele attracted, the rather inconsiderate and noisy behaves. Since the rooms are very clairaudient, definitely ear plugs carry forward!
the hotel is unusual: the rooms without toilet have, although they really small are, a private shower (and washbasin): I think great! Both the room as well as the floors-toilet were very clean. The furnishing the rooms and the entire hotel is basic but modern and tastefully.
also the breakfast buffet is extensive, only fresh ... fruit missed.
all together: three thumbs up! read more

The atmosphere of the hotel pleased us very much. In spring you can perhaps even having breakfast on the patio. Because the hotel in the second row on a very busy street is relatively quiet in terms of street noise, but very noisy inside. The breakfast was okay, for those 'for Hamburg cheap' price adequate. The staff was very friendly. The room decor, 1 small closet with two handles a bit poor. read more

We went to a private party in stellingen and this small hotel used for an overnight stay. The Hostel is very clean, bright and friendly and for the price simply can't be beat. Only the shower is too small and a larger person would not be able to close the glass door. The staff was very, very friendly. This could be described as a gem exaggerated, but a clear recommendation for small budget. read more

We stayed for two persons (mother and grown up daughter) two rooms, 1 single and 1 double room for single use. The single room was functional equipped, but unfortunately quite small (room through bathroom to get to).
The double room was just right. The beds stood together and the shower was separate and sufficient large.
The cleaning staff was very friendly and always helpful. The rooms and the bathrooms were clean and well maintained.
The breakfast room was very comfortable equipped and the buffet was for this hotel category more than wide.
The staff at the front desk staff was ... extremely friendly and accommodating.
All special requests were handled immediately competently. read more

My evaluation is the usefulness.
I just wanted to sleep there and not the whole day in the room, so I only rated as a dream you can evaluate.
In other words, I am in the hostel old have showered and went to bed. In the morning, washed, dressed and went back to Hamburg.
The hostel is located in a backyard on a main road. This is a very good connection to the motorway and the city center.
The rooms at the back of the hotel so that you can hear almost nothing from the main road. Parking is available ... for hotel guests.
I stayed for two nights in a single room with toilet/shower in the rooms.
The room itself is equipped with everything you need. It has a small table with a chair, a closet, a bed, a tv, sink, shower, toilet.
The room itself is very small, but as I said, I wanted to sleep and not to stay there for months.
The breakfast was unusually varied for a hostel and more importantly, it was very good.
Different types of sausage, jams, eggs, cereal, juices, tea, coffee, nothing was missing.
For me a very good central and quiet located end solution.
For 1-5 nights it is for me alone or with my wife sure the first Address which I consider.
This hostel has almost everything a hotel also.
Since I didn't use it I can not say one hundred % but I believe it was free wireless Internet in the rooms. read more

We stayed for a city trip and the visit of a musical for two nights at the arcade-hostel. When we arrived we were greeted by very friendly from the staff at the front desk. Furthermore, we were immediately given information on the nearest bus and tram stops. Our room was small, but perfectly adequate. The room and the bathroom were clean. The breakfast buffet in the hotel is very varied. There was something for every taste. The breakfast room is very nice.
Conclusion: nice, small hotel, which is ideal for a short city break. read more

We were due to the rather low price rather skeptical about this hostel. But all concerns loose on the extraordinary check-in. Very competent staff received us and everything went smoothly and we could fast our room already in the morning bereitstehendes. The receptionist offered us their help in planning of excursions and questions about the city. So one imagines a front desk before! There may be many large hotels could learn a lot! The rooms are a bit small and unfortunately our room had two twin beds, but they could be pushed together without any problems, so everything was great. ... Everything is completely newly renovated, great flat screen tv and great bathroom with temperature in the shower pace. With the environment of the hotel itself we have been rather less. A gas station is just around the corner, where you can relax with drinks. The bus stop Basselweg is about three minutes walking distance. From there, the metro bus lienie four runs directly at about 20 minutes to the city! Great place to any important point. We loved it! Even if you want to late at night you don't have to walk home run and is again in the very comfy bed. Tip for the evening: 3D cinema in the dammtorbahnhof Cinemaxx on use. We looked at Avatar, just great! Not that expensive. Check-out and the bus to the airport from the People's park street were also smoothly. We will definitely come again. We have just returned home and are already planning a return again! Hamburg is just a great city! read more

Renovated in 2008 we liked the hotel very much. The room and the bathroom were quite small, but for 1 night perfectly adequate. The price/performance ratio was found to be of the highest quality. The decor of the room was functional (2 single beds, which were together; 1 desk with chair; flat screen television; 1 closet; surface for shelf space for the suitcase). The bathroom was also renovated. Highlight in the shower: it was a temperature control, so that one could adjust the water to your hearts content (I knew not). Small drawback: it was missing in the bathroom a ... little soap.
The hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of the highway, but it was still very quiet, as the hotel is a bit old from the street. Free parking is also available in plentiful form.
For breakfast I can say unfortunately nothing, since we had already had to leave very early, so that we had a room without breakfast.
Check-in was easy and the staff very friendly. We were also asked, whether we needed anything else and wanted us with advice and act to the side.
If we go back to Hamburg, we will be happy to book this hotel again. read more

At 7 a.m. in the pilot, 8.15Uhr in a taxi and after 15 minutes. In the hostel. An old hotel, tastefully decorated lovingly renovated. All requests and questions were at the front desk by every worker politely taken up and dissolved even our room was ready, so we after a Begrüssungskaffee, maps, tips for the 3 days should really buy a Hamburgcard (31,50 Euros) with all underground and S-bahn, bus, discounts at many museums and tours, our weekend getaway could start. The room was big enough for 2 people, even a flat screen TV is available. A ... little difficult turned out the Morgenwäsche in a particularly small sink, where more water on the ground in the pool was, but there was an amazing shower. The breakfast service was thought of everything, and when the terrace used will be great! Many thanks to all for the beautiful weekend. read more

It is a very basic hotel, but very professionally run. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I have stayed in more expensive hotels with 4 * and had less hospitality. The check-in worked very smooth and fast. The hotel room is small but well appointed and very clean. The buffet breakfast is definitely convinced me. It was more than enough of everything and the presentation was very appetizing. A pleasure in the small breakfast room to start the day. The location is quiet, thanks to the Hinterhofs. I would recommend it to people who a smaller purses and still ... not on the comfort of a good house want to miss. read more

A great hostel, everything is completely newly renovated.
The rooms are very small, but with a great city like Hamburg anyway only for sleeping in the room. The bathroom and the shower were very small, but everything was very, very clean. And simply to relax!
The hostel is privately owned and managed you immediately recognize the loving decor. The service at the front desk was super friendly, helpful and accommodating near the hotel are very good.
The underground and S-Bahn runs one ten minutes but it is no problem at all. There is a bus stop right outside the front ... door! This hostel is only recommendable, very, very good! read more
