Swissotel has gotten old the room 6065 on the 60 floor had already seen better days. It is reasonable value for money so not more. For a 5 star hotel. Very friendly staff always helpful. Which is great in the evening: free eating and drinking on the 60 floor ( beer, wine, etc..) Very good traffic mtr station in the hotel. In general are lots of hotels in singapoure ageing. The hotel lies perfect for exploring the city, the mrt -stop is located directly below the hotel and also on foot you can the city wonderful reputation. The room was huge, clean and had a perfect view. Nice, that you are on a balcony on the 45th floor also out could! The pool is nice and I was check in and after check out a room for showers made available. Altogether I was very satisfied! read more

The highest hotel in Singapore and one of the highest of Asien. Not the newest but still on a high niveua and when you a room toward the sea with a great view. Best is however probably the breakfast, for europär is what it is served as a lunch with. I could not remember ever so good and comprehensive breakfast. Also very pleasant is the pool, in the middle of the high hotels and office buildings. At all the hotel is ideally located, directly at the shopping street, in wlaking distance to various food courts and the many restaurants around ... the bay. read more

It is our favorite hotel if we only briefly in Singapore are. Fast, easy and very cheap with the mrt ( subway) of airport to get to, you have to merely after 2 stations in tannah merah change, on the other gleisseite go, then continuous connection until City Hall. The mrt station is directly below the hotel. ( travel time altogether and 30 minutes)
Small busy lobby, connected to the raffles city ( shopping mall). The fairmont hotel next door, is of the same company businesses, shares pool- and spa area.
We always choose a executive room, because the lounge ... offer ( evenings from to o'clock) is particularly good. However is the uncomfortable lounge mostly quite busy.
The furniture in the room has gotten old, but still ok. Good beds, decent desk with reasonable chair, shower was however poor and worked like a broken garden hose.
One of the highlights is next to the perfect location, the magnificent view of Singapore. read more

Great helpful service - delicious food and always clean rooms - if you're lucky with great view on the banks skyline of Singapor! Also the location is very good as you on foot everything could be reached well. At the top in the hotel is a very nice restaurant and directly below the hotel can one shopping go beautifully. We were 11 days and other only recommend the hotel! read more

The hotel itself is a landmark, especially, if you the room in the 50th floor as we did. We had a double room with view of the harbor. No matter how often you already went respectively which hotels you have already booked, the Swissotel 'the Stamford' in Singapore is in all areas great!
The view of Marina Bay with the Marina Bay Sands hotel( s), the skyline, the giant Ferris wheel, especially in the evening absolutely stunning!
Breakfast is very tasty and very varied.
The traffic connections could not be better. Right next to respectively bottom the hotel is a MRT -stop with which you quickly sine objectives in the town reach can.
This hotel is unreservedly recommendable! read more

Great hotel.
To a couple of years should a little updating.
Is already getting a bit old.
Breakfast you don't need, this can one everything right in the hanging shopping center get.
You can really good during the day in Singapore move. You can a shopping center in the next...
Apart from that the best by taxi everywhere go there. And a small tip: always a langarmiges carry forward because of the air-conditioning devices. read more

We had a 3-day stay in the Swissotel the Stamford and unfortunately has this hotel in spite of the immensely high price our expectations not met. The hotel room was old and was so not any more the current standard. During the check in it is happened as a number, since there are so many hotel room had. The shopping facilities were however excellent, as right at the hotel a large shopping center was. Also the entrance hall was impressive. What was most disappointing was that so acclaimed gourmet restaurant equinox. The view was breathtaking from the 71. Stock, that ... was but also the only thing which positive was. The food was extremely overpriced and the taste just amateur. It was not at all gourmet quality and I know what I am talking about. In our opinion is this restaurant not recommendable. read more

City hotel in a very good location from Singapore.
MRT station and shopping center with many restaurants in the food court and a supermarket.
In the neighborhood of the hotel you will find nice small restaurants and not to forget the raffles bar in the neighboring hotel.
Great view in the rooms to the port.
Extensive breakfast in of high quality quality.
Small downside: the breakfast restaurant recalls a large waiting room. read more

The kindness and the professionalism were incredibly good. The hotel is definitely recommendable.
But also the town itself is so extensive and interesting set up, that a vacation for more than a week it is worth. Museums, Concert, purchase, zoo but also beach - all the offers this city, the paths are in short, the public traffic exemplary, therefore we had a successful holiday. read more

The Swissotel is a typical city hotel.
Traffic connection is super-who has a private underground station in the basement. We had a room on the 46th floor, with a balcony and view of Marina. The balcony (2 chairs would have been nice )? Unfortunately none.
The room was big, the safe came directly from Fort Knox and we seldom used in a bed so good slept like there-but that is a matter of taste.
The furniture had already better Times. Rocked call the. The bathroom was very small and the design was to the Olympic games in Munich the very ... big hit. Today you better the sunglasses on. The bed linen had a very large Crack, which now didn't bother us, but to claim the chain rather less good fit. There was a shoeshine in the shoes in a basket had to put and then dial a number should be. Since the point always occupied was, I left the shoes in a big hope on the basket and in the room. The relevant department shortly to transmit was when the cleaning staff not on the to Do list. Such details ( I could quite shoes even cleaning) are in our view things the competition to.
Breakfast, a riesensaal with relatively loud music. But, a very dedicated and attentive staff, and a truly very good choice of meals and drinks.
Check in was without complaint.
Check out was hard to get used to. I would have liked an invoice had; as I pay cash wanted. The answer, that the amount of the credit card I found remarkable.
If you are on the in our opinion leading flaws not disturbing, the the hotel recommended. For the price there are in our opinion some alternative.

If my first trip to Singapour would have been, I would in short certainly different canceled. But as I already other hotels knew and my regular hotel is unfortunately being renovated, the choice of the Bad Schallerbach.
I had a business executive room in the 58 floor with access to the lounge and various privileges.
On request I a free upgrade to a room with view of the harbor get. Fantastic!
The room was, compared to the other hotels I already had (Grand park central and the pan Pacific ), comparable, the balcony however very small and without seat possibility. ... Negative to mention are the lack of adapter for MP3, etc., as well as the pay mini bar and the pay laundry. In my previous hotels was this service for club rooms in the price inclusive. The televison and the selection were also borderline.
Most disappointed I was however from the executive lounge. Flair as in a train station depot (like the whole hotel). The breakfast moderate and without wide choice ( little fruit, mushy scrambled egg, etc. )
The pp was I as a whole other selection and a very other service used (private cook, etc. ).
No bad hotel, but for the price-performance clearly too expensive, as I know, that other hotels considerably more. read more
